Wuthering Waves 3.4 is officially live, and it’s one of the biggest updates Kuro Games has dropped since launch. Dubbed “The Dream Not Dreamed,” this version brings the long-awaited Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover, two collab characters, a brand-new explorable area, a continuation of the main story, and a stack of quality-of-life improvements. Here’s a full breakdown of everything new.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Collab — Night City Comes to Solaris-3
The headline addition in 3.4 is the full Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration. Lucy and Rebecca, fan-favourite Edgerunners from the anime, arrive on Solaris-3 as limited 5-star Resonators. Their storyline sees the two navigating the world and crossing paths with the Rover in a collab quest set across a recreation of Night City.
What makes this crossover stand out beyond the characters is the sheer amount of themed content packed in. There are collab events, collab enemies, and even unique gameplay mechanics tied to the Cyberpunk setting.
New Gameplay Mechanics: Quickhack and Breach Protocol
Inside the new Somnoire: Night City area, Kuro Games has introduced two mechanics pulled directly from the Cyberpunk universe — Quickhack and Breach Protocol. Rovers can hack into terminals around the city to unlock rewards and interact with the environment in ways that feel distinct from the rest of Solaris-3. It’s a smart way to make the collab zone feel like its own thing rather than just a reskinned open area.
New Enemies
Night City comes with its own set of threats. New enemies introduced in 3.4 include Nightmare: Adam Smasher, Adam Corpo, and Spec Ops Corpo. Unsurprisingly, Lucy and Rebecca have combat advantages against these, so if you manage to pull either collab character, they’ll shine in this content.
New Characters in Version 3.4
Lucy (5-Star — Collab)
Lucy is the Netrunner of her crew and arrives as a Main Damage Dealer focused on Heavy Attack DMG and Basic Attack DMG Amplification. Her kit incorporates the new Hack Response mechanic that feeds into the Cyberpunk-themed gameplay. Her signature weapon is the Spectral Trigger, built around the Hack-Shifting mechanic exclusive to the collab characters. She’s available on the Dreaming Upon the Moon Collab Resonator Convene from June 8 through July 9.
Rebecca (5-Star — Collab, FREE)
Rebecca is the shotgun-wielding wild card of the crew — built around Concerto Efficiency, Basic Attack DMG, Heavy Attack DMG Amplification, and Tune Break Boost. Her combat role also includes Hack Response. Every player with Union Level 10 or above can claim her for free during the collab event, making her one of the best free characters in the game’s history. Her banner, Rekindled Embers of Rage, also runs through July 9 if you want to pull dupes.
Lucilla (5-Star — Phase 2, June 13)
Lucilla is the President of Startorch Academy and the non-collab new character this version. She’s a Glacio Resonator wielding a Rectifier, with a kit built around Concerto Efficiency, Basic Attack and Echo DMG, and DMG Amplification. Think of her as a Glacio-flavoured offensive support that makes your entire team hit harder. Her banner goes live on June 13 and her signature weapon is the Freeze Frame Rectifier. Both run until the end of Version 3.4.
Cartethyia (Rerun — June 18)
Rounding out the banner lineup is a Cartethyia rerun, kicking off on June 18 and running to the end of the version for players who missed her first run.
New Story Quest — Chapter III: Segue: We Choose the Sky
On the story front, 3.4 advances the main narrative with Chapter III — Segue: We Choose the Sky, centred on Lucilla. This quest unlocks with Lucilla’s Phase 2 debut on June 13. The update also brings the Cyberpunk collaboration storyline as a separate quest chain, so there’s plenty of narrative content to work through across the full 32-day version window.
Version 3.4 Events
Cyberpunk Collab Events
The collab brings a dedicated set of events including an Episodic Quest, a Collab Resonators Trial, a Nightmare Challenge, and free-roam activities in Night City. These events run through July 9 and are the primary way to earn collab-exclusive rewards and cosmetics.
At Dream’s Edge
This event runs through the full version and rewards players with Waveband x2 and Dreamcatcher Tide x30 for completing it. Dreamcatcher Tides are the collab-specific pull currency, converted from Astrite, used on the collab Resonator and Weapon Convenes.
Startorch Racing — Rerun (PvP!)
Startorch Racing is back between June 11 and June 25, but this time it’s not solo. Rovers race head-to-head against other players on expedition motorbikes. It’s a fun, low-stakes break from combat content and a good reason to kit out your bike with one of the new cosmetic presets introduced this update.
Login Event
A login reward event runs from June 18 through July 9. Log in for 10 days total during the event window to claim all rewards from the event page.
Quality of Life and System Updates
Version 3.4 ships with a solid batch of QoL improvements that make the day-to-day grind smoother.
Weekly Activities System
A new Weekly Activities system means you can now earn weekly rewards through a wider variety of content rather than being locked into the Weekly Thousand Gateway. This version adds Phrolova’s event minigame as an early example of the expanded options.
Build Goal Tracking
You can now set a target build for any Resonator and the game will track your farming progress toward it. Less spreadsheet work, more actually playing.
Skill Upgrade Improvements
Two changes here — you can now upgrade multiple skill levels in a single session instead of one at a time, and the Skill Tab now shows upgrade recommendations so you’re not guessing which skill to prioritise.
Motorbike Cosmetic Presets
You can now save cosmetic presets for your expedition motorbike, making it easy to swap looks without having to rebuild your preferred setup from scratch each time.
Megalight System and Visual Upgrades
On the technical side, Kuro Games has introduced the Megalight system for improved lighting and reflections across the world, along with upgraded camera movement, new camera options, and destructible environmental objects. The game is looking noticeably better with these changes on higher-end devices.
Maintenance Compensation
If you haven’t claimed your maintenance rewards yet, check your in-game mail. Players receive 300 Astrite and 2 Crystal Solvents as downtime compensation, claimable within six hours of maintenance ending as long as you’ve unlocked the mail function.
Version 3.4 End Date
Version 3.4 runs for a shortened 32 days, wrapping up on July 9, 2026 at 11:59 server time. All collab content, including both Lucy and Rebecca’s banners and the Cyberpunk events, expires at this date — so don’t sleep on claiming free Rebecca if you haven’t already.
