What Is Epochal Integration?
The Epochal Integration Hand Cannon in Destiny 2 received a reprised version with the launch of Monument of Triumph, and it now has enough perks in its pool to rival some of the other fan-favorite Legendary Hand Cannons in the game, namely Zaouli’s Bane.
It is a 140 RPM Adaptive Frame Solar Hand Cannon in the Energy slot. It can reach targets up to 33 meters away with a max Range roll, and it can reach some very high Stability values, making it one of the best-feeling Hand Cannons in the game.
Epochal Integration ticks all the boxes Guardians could be after when it comes to a Hand Cannon. Powerful perks for PvE and PvP, and the type of weapon to transition seamlessly between modes. Epochal Integration is A-Tier for PvE and A-Tier for PvP.

How to Get Epochal Integration in Monument of Triumph
There are two ways to get Epochal Integration. One has random rolls. One does not. For the god roll hunt, you want the reprised version.
Method 1: Terminal Overload on Neomuna (Recommended)
The re-issued version of Epochal Integration is part of the Neomuna Destination loot pool alongside other Neomuna weapons. It drops from the regular chest that appears at the end of the Terminal Overload activity, though other players have claimed it can drop from patrol chests and high-value target chests on Neomuna as well.
Just to be safe, if you want to farm Epochal Integration, queue up for Terminal Overload and stick with that until you get the gun. Terminal Overload is a repeatable public activity on Neomuna. Multiple runs are available per session and each completion gives you a chest drop with a chance at the weapon.
How to Get a Terminal Overload Key
The regular Terminal Overload end chest is all you need, but unlocking the bonus chest significantly increases your chances of getting Epochal Integration per run.
You do not need to unlock the bonus chest if you want to get the Epochal Integration, though it will increase your odds of getting a copy of this gun. The regular Terminal Overload chest has a chance to drop a Terminal Overload key, and so do the different chests scattered throughout the activity area. If you would rather not deal with RNG, get one of the daily Neomuna Bounties from Nimbus, and you will get a Terminal Overload key after completing a challenge within the activity itself.
In short: pick up a Nimbus bounty before starting your Terminal Overload run, complete the in-activity challenge it requires, and you are guaranteed a key for the bonus chest at the end of that run. This is the most efficient way to farm.
Method 2: Nimbus Quest (Fixed Roll — No Random Perks)
You can still get the original Epochal Integration by completing a quest from Nimbus. However, this version has no random rolls. The fixed-roll version is fine for casual play but does not give you the new Monument of Triumph perk combinations. If you want Explosive Payload, Incandescent, Chaos Reshaped, or Magnificent Howl, you need the reprised random roll version from Terminal Overload.
Epochal Integration Stats
The reprised Epochal Integration is a 140 RPM Adaptive Frame Solar Hand Cannon. Its base stats sit comfortably for the archetype with room to push Range and Stability high through barrels and magazines. Key stat targets for both PvE and PvP builds:
- Range: Push as high as possible for both modes. Aim for 33+ with the right barrel and magazine combo.
- Stability: High stability makes follow-up shots more consistent. Especially important in PvP where landing three precision shots quickly is the difference between a kill and a loss.
- Handling: Affects how fast you draw and aim down sights. More important in PvP than PvE.

Epochal Integration essentially turns into a Legendary version of the Sunshot Exotic with Explosive Payload and Incandescent. Explosive Payload deals bonus damage with each shot and the explosive portion does not suffer from range fall-off — meaning you deal the same bonus damage at 10 meters as at 30 meters. Incandescent spreads Scorch to nearby enemies on kills, which chains into Ignitions in Solar builds. Together they make Epochal Integration one of the best Solar add-clear primaries in the game without using your Exotic slot.

If you want to focus on raw damage buffs, Chaos Reshaped grants up to a 35% damage bonus just by staying in combat and it will periodically heal you too. Heal Clip triggers a burst of healing on the next reload after getting a kill. In the Crucible, Epochal Integration competes with other top 140 RPM Hand Cannons like Eyasluna and Rose. While the Epochal Integration is not the most popular 140 RPM Hand Cannon for PvP, it is still more than capable of holding its own against meta picks. Consistency is the key to winning fights in the Crucible, which is why perks like Opening Shot, Slideshot, and Keep Away are favored by PvP players.

Precision Instrument and Magnificent Howl are more for extending the range on Epochal Integration than shifting its optimal TTK in any meaningful way, so pair them with a high Range masterwork to maximize the effective engagement distance.

Slideshot refills part of the magazine and improves range after a slide, making it ideal for players who push aggressively and play close to mid-range. Eye of the Storm improves accuracy as your health decreases, which is the exact moment most PvP duels get decided. This combination rewards aggressive, high-pressure play and punishes opponents who try to disengage once they think they have won the trade.
Is Epochal Integration Worth Farming?
Epochal Integration should be on the list of weapons to chase following its Monument of Triumph refresh. In PvE, it can be used for easily dispatching waves of enemies or buffed with Chaos Reshaped to add serious damage. In PvP, it can access specialist perks such as Magnificent Howl to cause mayhem in any Crucible playlist, rewarding a steady hand with a ticket to the top of the leaderboard.
The main competition is Zaouli’s Bane from King’s Fall, which is generally considered the best Solar Hand Cannon in the game for PvE. If you already have a good Zaouli’s Bane, Epochal Integration is a secondary target.
