    TL;DR

    • The Snack Attack challenge is part of the Series 1 Winter Festival Playlist — smash 5 vending machines to complete it.
    • The fastest single location is the 365 convenience store at Minamino Golf Course — five machines are within a short drive of each other.
    • If you are already in Tokyo City, use the Tokyo City Food Delivery job spot (2 machines) or the north park area near the Inner City Run drift zone (6 machines close together).
    • Any car works — just drive into the machines to smash them.
    • Hitting two machines at the same time may not register both — aim for one at a time.
    • Vending machines respawn after a short time, so you can return to the same spot if needed.
    • Reward: 3 Festival Playlist Points and the 2023 Lotus Emira.

The Snack Attack collectibles challenge in Forza Horizon 6 is part of the Series 1 Winter Festival Playlist (Week 3). The task sounds simple enough — smash 5 vending machines — but since vending machines have never been a priority in a racing game, most players have absolutely no idea where they are. This guide gives you the two best locations to finish the challenge in under two minutes, without hunting across the whole map.

What Is the Snack Attack Challenge?

Snack Attack is a Collectibles challenge in the Series 1 Winter Festival Playlist, running from June 4 to June 11, 2026. The objective is to find and smash 5 vending machines by driving your car into them. There is no vehicle restriction — any car in your garage works. Each successful smash triggers the Feed Me! skill chain and awards 1,000 skill points. The challenge counts automatically once you hit your fifth machine.

Completing it rewards you with 3 Festival Playlist Points and the 2023 Lotus Emira. The Emira is a solid mid-A-rank car straight out of the box, making it immediately useful across a range of events without heavy tuning investment. We have a full performance breakdown in the Lotus Emira performance stats guide.

Where to Find Vending Machines in Forza Horizon 6

Vending machines are scattered across Japan, but they are most common in Tokyo City. They appear against walls outside convenience stores, petrol stations, parking lots, and commercial buildings. The two locations below give you the fastest route to 5 smashes without any random searching.

Location 1 — Minamino Golf Course (Fastest Method, 30 Seconds)

The single best spot to finish Snack Attack in one go is the 365 convenience store on the eastern side of the Minamino Golf Course, located in the Minamino region just south of Shirakawa-Go. Five machines sit close together here, and you can clear all of them in a single looping pass without backtracking.

To navigate there, open your map and look for the Minamino Golf Course in the centre of the Minamino region. The 365 store sits on the eastern edge of the course, right next to the Airfield Trail dirt racing event and the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T Treasure Car location — both serve as useful map landmarks to confirm you are in the right area.

Once you arrive, you will see three vending machines outside the front of the 365 shop, and two more against the building just to your left. Drive straight through them in a single loop. All five smash in sequence and the challenge completes on the spot. This is the recommended method if you want to knock out Snack Attack without spending time in Tokyo City.

If you are heading to the Minamino region anyway, our Minamino region Treasure Hunt guide and the Minamino Golf Course location guide are worth checking out while you are there.

Location 2 — Tokyo City, North Park (Inner City Run Drift Zone)

If you are already working through Tokyo City challenges — like the #PitcherPerfect photo challenge at Edogawa Baseball Stadium or the Tokyo Drift Shibuya Crossing challenge — this cluster is the most convenient option since you are already in the area.

Head to the road bordering the right (east) side of the large park near the Inner City Run drift zone in the north of Tokyo City. Near the end of the road you will find a small parking lot with:

    • Two vending machines against one wall of the parking lot
    • Two more machines against the brick wall at the back
    • Two additional machines across the street to the right, next to a bush

That is six machines in one tight area — more than enough to complete the challenge with a buffer if you miss one on the first pass. Drive the lot, hit the four machines inside, then cross the street for the remaining two.

Location 3 — Tokyo City Food Delivery Job Spot

A third option, useful if you want to stay close to a known fast travel point, is the area around the Tokyo City Food Delivery job icon on the map. Fast travel directly to that point, then turn around and look behind the food delivery truck. You will find two vending machines side-by-side next to a business called Cafe Asatsuyu. There is a third machine across the street heading northeast.

That is only three machines in one visit, but you can quit to the main menu and reload the game — the machines respawn on reload, letting you hit the same three again from the same fast travel point. Smash three, quit to menu, reload, smash two more to reach five. It takes slightly longer than the Minamino Golf Course method but works well if you prefer staying in central Tokyo.

    How to Smash Vending Machines

Smashing vending machines in FH6 requires no setup. Drive your car directly into any machine at normal driving speed and it will break on contact. You do not need a heavy car or high speed — even a light car at a slow pace is enough to knock one over. Each successful smash shows the Feed Me! skill text on screen, which is your confirmation it counted.

One important note: hitting two machines simultaneously may only register as one smash. There is a short cooldown between valid hits, so aim for one machine at a time rather than trying to clip two in a single run. If the Feed Me! skill prompt does not appear, the hit did not register — reverse, line up, and hit the machine cleanly on its own.

    Do Vending Machines Respawn?

Yes. If you smash fewer than 5 in a single visit, vending machines at a given location will respawn after a short cooldown. You can return to the same spot rather than hunting for new machines across the map. The Minamino Golf Course location is still the cleanest option even accounting for respawns, since all five sit close enough together to clear in one loop. The Food Delivery job spot exploit — smash three, reload, smash two more — also uses this respawn mechanic deliberately.

    Snack Attack Rewards

Completing the Snack Attack challenge earns:

    • 3 Festival Playlist Points toward your Series 1 Winter season total
    • 2023 Lotus Emira — a mid-A-rank sports car, immediately useful across multiple event types

Those 3 points contribute toward the Winter season reward cars — the 2019 Subaru STI S209 and 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Trucks AT37. Combined with points from the #PitcherPerfect photo challenge and other weekly events, Snack Attack is one of the higher-value tasks in the Week 3 playlist. For the full breakdown of everything available this season, see the Festival Playlist seasonal events guide.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Where are the vending machines in Forza Horizon 6?

Vending machines appear throughout Japan, most commonly in Tokyo City near convenience stores, petrol stations, and parking areas. The fastest single location to find five in one go is the 365 convenience store at the Minamino Golf Course in the Minamino region. In Tokyo City, the best cluster is near the Inner City Run drift zone park in the north of the city.

What is the Feed Me! skill in Forza Horizon 6?

The Feed Me! skill triggers automatically when you drive into and smash a vending machine. It awards 1,000 skill chain points per machine and confirms the smash registered for the Snack Attack challenge.

Can I smash two vending machines at the same time?

It is not recommended. Hitting two machines simultaneously may only count as one smash due to a short cooldown between valid hits. Aim for one machine at a time and wait for the Feed Me! skill text to appear before going for the next one.

What do I get for completing Snack Attack in FH6?

Completing Snack Attack earns 3 Festival Playlist Points and the 2023 Lotus Emira as a free reward car.

Do vending machines respawn after being smashed?

Yes. Vending machines respawn after a short cooldown. You can also force a faster respawn by quitting to the main menu and reloading the game, which is useful at the Tokyo City Food Delivery spot where only three machines are grouped together.

Complete the Rest of the Winter Challenges

With Snack Attack done, you have three of the most time-consuming Week 3 tasks out of the way. The other nearby Tokyo City challenges for this week — the #PitcherPerfect photo challenge at Edogawa Baseball Stadium and the Tokyo Drift Shibuya Crossing drift challenge — are all in the same northwest section of Tokyo City, so you can chain all three in one session.

If you are working toward 100% season completion, the wristband progression system guide explains how playlist points feed into overall series ranking. And for collectibles beyond this week’s challenge, our all 200 bonus boards locations and all 200 mascots locations guides cover every persistent collectible on the Japan map.

Forza Horizon 6 is available on Xbox, PC via Steam, PlayStation, and via the official Forza website.
