✓ Strengths

• ✓ Sole Echo Skill DMG Amplifier — Outro grants +50% Echo Skill DMG Amplification; no other unit provides this, making him irreplaceable in Echo Skill teams
• ✓ +30% Team Crit DMG from Liberation at just 65% Crit Rate — an unconditional team-wide boost activating per rotation
• ✓ Extremely fast rotations — short on-field time means the Main DPS benefits from his buffs for the bulk of each rotation cycle
• ✓ 3 Enhanced Heavy Attack casts = 3 Echo Skill casts — directly powers Galbrena’s Afterflame stacks and Phrolova’s Hecate Enhanced Attacks
• ✓ Resonance Skill has Guard Point (GP) parry — immune to incoming damage if cast in the exact window before being hit, stagnating nearby enemies
• ✓ S2 is an excellent stopping point — removes the on-field restriction from Bamboo’s Shade, allowing off-field Hecate (Phrolova) to receive the +30% Echo Skill DMG Bonus

✗ Weaknesses

• ✗ Highly niche archetype — almost exclusively useful in Echo Skill teams; outside Galbrena / Phrolova / Cantarella comps, his value drops dramatically
• ✗ Lackluster personal damage at S0 — own DPS contribution is underwhelming; requires S3 to become a viable DPS option in his own right
• ✗ Inksplash combo lacks interruption resistance at S0 — 3-stage enhanced Heavy Attack can be interrupted mid-sequence; losing the third hit means losing Concerto Energy restore
• ✗ Outro Skill has casting animation — interrupts current action on use; must use Hold Resonance Skill (animation-cancellable) before switching to avoid losing damage
• ✗ Signature weapon impact is low on team total DPS — gap between signature and Emerald of Genesis is only ~5-6.5% overall team difference; not worth pulling unless maximizing his personal damage

3-stage Aero combo. Stage 3 is the key hit — it generates 100 pts of Swordster’s Soliloquy. Heavy Attack generates additional Forte energy. Dodge Counter is considered a Heavy Attack and also grants 100 pts. Crucially, after a Basic Attack or Heavy Attack, Qiuyuan automatically becomes immune to the next instance of damage and triggers a Dodge Counter — but this auto-parry only activates ~1 second after the attack animation begins and does not work during Enhanced Basic or Heavy Attacks.

Two versions: Tap — dash forward dealing Aero DMG (Echo Skill DMG); has a Guard Point window that, if triggered by an attack, makes Qiuyuan immune and stagnates nearby enemies. Hold (Undaunted Wayfarer) — dashes forward or through the air; deals Echo Skill DMG on landing near enemies. Hold version is animation-cancellable and ideal before Outro. 14s cooldown — upgrade to Lv.8–10.

Core mechanic. At 200 pts → Enhanced Basic Attack (4 stages, Heavy Attack DMG). At 400 pts → Bamboo’s Shade (+30% Echo Skill DMG Bonus to all active Resonators, 30s). At 600 pts → Inksplash of Mind for 8s — Enhanced Heavy Attack becomes the 3-stage Thus Spoke the Blade combo, each stage counted as Echo Skill. Upgrade to Lv.10 first — this controls all major damage and buffing.

Deals Aero DMG (counted as Echo Skill DMG) and applies a team-wide Crit DMG buff. +2% Crit DMG per 1% Crit Rate above 50%, capped at +30% at 65% Crit Rate. This buff applies to all active team members for 30s. Energy Cost: 125 — requires ~130% Energy Regen for reliable per-rotation use. Upgrade to Lv.10 second.

Quietude Within — on entering Inksplash state, all 3 Enhanced Heavy Attacks deal +50% DMG for 10s; To Sacrifice restores +30 Concerto on hit. Ends immediately on character swap. Drink Away Woes Age-Old — after using an Echo Skill, the next time Swordster’s Soliloquy is gained, Qiuyuan’s ATK increases by +10% for 20s. Use Echo Skill immediately after Intro for consistent uptime.

Grants the incoming Resonator +50% Echo Skill DMG Amplification for 14 seconds (or until they switch out). This is the most powerful Echo Skill DMG buff in the game — the sole unit providing this effect. Ideal cycling target is Galbrena (her primary damage type) or Phrolova (for personal Echo Skill casts). Note: Outro has a cast animation — use Hold Resonance Skill for animation cancel before triggering Outro.

Deals Aero DMG (Heavy Attack DMG type) and instantly grants 400 pts of Swordster’s Soliloquy — the fastest way to build Forte. This immediately unlocks the Enhanced Basic Attack state. After Intro, chaining two Enhanced Basic Attack stages (3rd and 4th) provides the remaining 200 pts, reaching 600 and entering Inksplash of Mind at the start of every rotation. Always enter via Intro when possible. Upgrade to Lv.6.

Law of Harmony (3-PC) + Sierra Gale (2-PC)

3-PC Law of Harmony: Enhances Echo Skill DMG buffs team-wide — perfectly matches Qiuyuan’s kit where every Inksplash Heavy Attack is counted as Echo Skill. He triggers this set bonus easily every rotation.

2-PC Sierra Gale: +10% Aero DMG Bonus for personal damage boost. Use if you can reach 130% ER through substats; otherwise swap for 2-PC Moonlit Clouds or Tidebreaking Courage for +10% ER.

Main Echo: Reminiscence: Fenrico

Moonlit Clouds (5-PC) or 3-PC Law of Harmony + 2-PC Moonlit Clouds

5-PC Moonlit Clouds: Ideal when paired with Impermanence Heron main Echo in Galbrena + Qiuyuan + Shorekeeper team. Outro buffs the incoming DPS with +10% ATK while providing Energy Regen — Galbrena receives +12% DMG Bonus from Impermanence Heron.

In Phrolova + Qiuyuan teams (without Cantarella), use Impermanence Heron + 3-PC Law of Harmony or Reminiscence: Fenrico + 2-PC Aero set instead.

Main Echo: Impermanence Heron

Sierra Gale (5-PC)

5-PC Sierra Gale: Only recommended when running Qiuyuan as Main DPS at S3+. The set provides Aero DMG Bonus stacking, and pairs with Nightmare: Feilian Beringal for Heavy Attack DMG + Aero DMG synergy. Focus on Heavy Attack DMG sub-stats over ER in this build.
