After eavesdropping on a guest at the reception desk complaining about a stolen suitcase, your objective shifts toward the laundry area. Head to the hallway on the left side of the reception desk. The laundry door is there with a keypad. A note on the door states clearly that the combination changes daily and is kept in the hotel manager’s office. That is your next destination.

How to Get the Laundry Area Code in 007 First Light
Here is the full step-by-step process for finding the code the way the game intends.
Step 1: Head to the Reception Area
After the eavesdropping scene at the reception, do not enter the laundry hallway yet. Instead, turn around and go to the hallway directly behind the reception desk. You will see a set of open double doors where two guests are having a conversation. Walk past them and push through the large double doors marked “Staff Only.”
Step 2: Get Past the Guard in the Hallway
Once inside the staff area, head down the hallway and turn right. A security guard is posted in the corridor connecting to the manager’s office. You need to get past him without causing a scene. The cleanest method is to use your Dart Phone to daze him. Once he is dizzy, move quickly and pickpocket him to take the manager’s office key.
If you do not pickpocket the key in time, you will have to kick the door down instead — but that snaps the guard back out of his daze and can complicate things. Step 3: Enter the Manager’s Office and Get the Code
Use the key to enter the manager’s office. Walk up to the desk and pick up the note sitting on top of it. That note contains the laundry area code — 1805. Memorize it or note it down.
While you are here, take a look around. The manager’s office also has a safe under the desk with its own separate code (1952 — based on the year of the middle wine bottle on display). Cracking that safe completes the Wine Connoisseur challenge and gives you the Cellar Key, which makes navigating the hotel’s later sections easier. Both the Wine Connoisseur and The Manager challenges can be knocked out in this same visit without getting caught.
To exit the office quietly, use the large antique clock in the room to distract the guard instead of spending another Dart on him. Then slip back out the same way you came.
Step 4: Return to the Laundry Door and Enter the Code
Head back to the laundry door in the hallway to the left of the reception. Walk up to the keypad and enter 1805. The door unlocks and you can continue following the bellhop deeper into the hotel.
What Happens in the Laundry Area?
The laundry room is not just a corridor to walk through. Once the bellhop bribes the laundry workers to patrol the area, the room fills with activity. There are guards to deal with and a disguise opportunity available.
To move through cleanly and pick up challenges, head left after entering and vault over the surface to avoid the workers. Use the Q-Lens (L1 on PlayStation / LB on Xbox) to activate the air conditioner, which creates a puff of smoke that distracts nearby guards. This gives you a window to grab the laundry hat disguise from the table.
Once you have the disguise on, avoid guards who have a detection circle above their heads and follow the blue waypoint markers through the doors to exit the laundry area. After the laundry room, you climb into a study and library area where more guards are present.
Laundry Area Challenges in All the Time in the World
Three challenges are tied directly to how you handle the laundry area. You can complete all three in a single run if you follow the right approach:
- Laundry Day — Get through the laundry area using the hat disguise without being detected. Grab the disguise from the table using the Q-Lens and air conditioner distraction, then navigate through with the disguise on.
- Squeaky Clean — Get through the laundry area without being spotted at all. Follow the same stealth path used for Laundry Day and do not let any guard detect you.
- Uninterrupted Service — Get through the laundry section without disrupting the workers. Head left when you enter, vault over the surface, and use the Q-Lens to hack the air conditioner to distract guards before they notice you. These two challenges blend together naturally with Laundry Day.
All three of these challenges complete in one pass if you vault left on entry, hack the air conditioner with the Q-Lens, grab the laundry hat, and then stay undetected through the waypoint doors. Do not engage any workers or guards directly.

- Use the clock to exit the office. After getting the code and cracking the safe, distract the guard with the antique clock on your way out instead of burning a second Dart charge.
- Grab the Cellar Key from the safe. It is not required to finish the mission, but it opens useful shortcuts in the hotel’s later sections.
- Hack the air conditioner before going for the disguise. The air conditioner smoke distracts guards near the disguise table. Do this first with the Q-Lens before moving in to grab the hat.
