TL;DR
- Bo is a Demeniss bounty target and part of the House Thorel Outlaws faction quests.
- Pick up the Bounty Notice — Bo from a purple flyer post along a Demeniss street.
- Bo is last seen near Demeniss Port, on the southeastern side of Demeniss City.
- He is not always standing on his quest marker — patrol the streets of Silvermoon Tradehouse and Demeniss Port and watch your minimap for him to appear.
- When you get close, he will bolt — chase him, tackle him, then punch him 2–3 times to get the Tie Up option.
- Deliver Bo alive to the Demeniss Guard Station for the full reward. Delivering him dead pays only half.
Bounty hunting is one of the most rewarding side activities in Crimson Desert. It builds Contribution with local factions, earns solid silver, and adds variety to exploration. Bo is one of the Demeniss region’s bounty targets, and while he is not particularly dangerous, his exact location trips up a lot of players because he does not always stand exactly on his quest marker. He wanders around the port area, and if you do not know where to look you can walk circles around that zone for a long time without spotting him.
This guide explains exactly where to find Bo, how to bring him in, and where to turn him in for the full payout.
How to Unlock the Bo Bounty Quest
Bo’s bounty is part of the House Thorel Outlaws faction quests in Demeniss. To start it, you need to find and pick up the Bounty Notice — Bo from a purple scroll post somewhere along the streets of Demeniss.
Bounty notices appear on lamp posts, bulletin boards, and street posts as purple scroll icons on your minimap. If you have not unlocked bounty quests yet, they become available from Chapter 2 onward. Read the notice by holding the interact button (LB/L1 on controller, or CTRL on PC). This registers the quest in your Journal and places Bo’s last known location on your world map.
Bo’s notice describes him as wanted for pickpocketing and theft in the Demeniss area — a street thief operating close to the port and trade district. His last seen location is recorded as Demeniss Port, on the southeastern side of Demeniss City.
If you are new to the bounty system, our other Demeniss bounty guides are good primers: the Fabrizio bounty guide and the Warren outlaw bounty guide both walk through the mechanics in detail.
Where to Find Bo in Crimson Desert

Head southeast from Demeniss City’s main area toward Demeniss Port. The port sits on the southeastern side of the city and connects directly to the Silvermoon Tradehouse — a busy trade district slightly north of the port itself.
Here is the key thing to know: Bo does not have to be standing right on top of his quest marker. He is a thief who moves around the area, and players frequently arrive at the marker circle and see nothing there. That is normal. Do not stand in one spot and wait.
Instead, walk the streets that connect Silvermoon Tradehouse and Demeniss Port. These two areas are linked and close together. Bo circulates through this zone, likely doing what thieves do — looking for pockets to pick. As long as you keep moving through the area, you will eventually close the distance needed for him to register on your minimap.
The minimap is your best tool for finding Bo. Once you are within range, a small indicator for him will appear on the minimap. From that point, it becomes much easier to locate and close in on him before he realizes you are there.
How to Capture Bo Alive
Once you spot Bo, move toward him quickly. Like all bounty targets in Crimson Desert, he will bolt the instant he detects you. Do not hesitate — the moment you see him run, sprint after him immediately.
When you get close enough while chasing, a tackle prompt will appear on screen (Triangle/Y on controller, or the appropriate key on PC). Use it to bring Bo crashing to the ground. Once he is down, you need to punch him 2 to 3 times — this beats a confession out of him, which often results in a small note or document appearing in your inventory as evidence.

After landing the required hits, a Tie Up option will appear. Select it to restrain Bo. You cannot tie him up without punching him first — the prompt will not appear until you land enough hits.
A few things to keep in mind during the capture:
Do not accidentally kill him. Stay away from heavy weapon attacks or finisher moves while he is on the ground. You want the Tie Up prompt, not a death. If Bo dies, you receive only half the bounty reward.
Do not save and reload during the capture process. If you reload with a captured target, Kliff can spawn in a different location and you may lose Bo entirely or have to recapture him.
Do not throw Bo into water. He will drown. Carry him carefully and stick to solid ground and roads.

How to Carry Bo to the Demeniss Guard Station
After tying Bo up, pick him up and carry him. Your movement speed will drop significantly while carrying a prisoner — that is normal. Walk toward your horse and you will see a prompt to place Bo on your mount. Load him up and ride to the Demeniss Guard Station.
The Demeniss Guard Station is the designated turn-in point for Bo’s bounty. You can confirm the correct constabulary by checking the bottom of Bo’s Bounty Notice — it names the constabulary where payment is issued.
Ride on the main roads where possible. Hostile enemy encounters can cause your horse to buck, which risks dropping Bo or causing damage. If you hit an area that is not navigable on horseback, dismount, carry Bo on foot until you clear the obstacle, then summon your horse again once the path is clear.
When you arrive at the Guard Station, dismount, carry Bo off the horse, and walk up to the guards. The handover triggers automatically and you receive your reward.
Reward for Completing the Bo Bounty
Delivering Bo alive to the Demeniss Guard Station pays the full bounty amount in silver as listed on his notice, plus a boost to Demenissian Contribution. Delivering him dead pays only half the silver with no Contribution bonus.
Contribution with Demeniss is worth building up — it opens faction quests, vendor access, and other progression options tied to the region. For a bounty that takes under ten minutes once you know where Bo wanders, the silver plus Contribution gain makes it a worthwhile stop while exploring Demeniss.
Tips for the Bo Bounty
Keep moving through the Silvermoon Tradehouse and port area. Bo is not a static target. If you stand on the quest marker and see nothing, just walk the connected streets. He will appear on your minimap once you are close enough.
Watch the minimap more than the map. The world map marker shows a general zone. The minimap shows you exactly when Bo is nearby. Prioritize the minimap once you are in the area.
Approach from a distance and tackle immediately. Bo bolts fast. The moment you spot him, close the gap at a sprint and use the tackle as soon as the prompt appears. Hesitating gives him time to put distance between you.
Use your horse for the return trip. The Demeniss Guard Station is not right next to the port. Carrying Bo on foot the whole way is slow. Load him on your horse as soon as you have him tied up and ride back.
Do not save mid-bounty. Save and reload with a prisoner can cause Kliff to spawn away from Bo. If you need to stop, try to complete the delivery first.
