TL;DR
- Blix is a goblin outlaw found near Unicorn Cliff and Nas Riverside in Hernand — not inside the city.
- He only spawns before 1:00 PM in-game time. Arrive early or use a bonfire to skip time.
- Blix will try to blend in with goblin guards and run if he spots you — sneak up and tackle him from behind.
- Capture him alive for the full reward: 15 Silver + 200 House Celeste Contribution EXP.
- Kill him and you only get 7.50 Silver + 200 Contribution EXP — half the Silver.
- Load him onto your horse to transport him back to the Constabulary in Hernand City.
- Do not save and reload while transporting him — it will break the quest.
Bounty quests are one of the best early ways to earn Silver and build your Hernandian Contribution in Crimson Desert. Most of the starting outlaws are easy to find around the city. Blix is a different story.
He is a goblin bandit camped out in a mountain crevice near Nas Riverside — a decent ride from Hernand. He only shows up at a specific time of day. And he will try to hide among his goblin crew and bolt the moment he thinks you are following him.
This guide covers exactly where to find the Blix bounty notice, when he spawns, how to capture him alive for the full reward, and how to get him safely back to the jail.
How to Unlock the Blix Bounty Quest
The Blix bounty — officially called “Bounty Notice: Blix” — is a Chapter 2 quest. Bounty posters do not appear in Hernand until you reach Chapter 2 of the main story. If you cannot find any poster, keep pushing the main story forward and it will unlock.
Once you are in Chapter 2, look for the bounty poster in the House Celeste district of Hernand City. It is pinned to a post on the street. Your minimap shows all nearby bounty posters as a purple letter icon — follow that to find it quickly.
To read the notice and start the quest, walk up to the poster and:
- PC: Hold CTRL
- PlayStation: Hold L1
- Xbox: Hold LB
Then press the Observe prompt to add the quest to your Journal. Blix’s last known location will now be marked on your map.
Tip: If this is your first bounty, consider doing the Jeffrey bounty first. It is found in north Hernand and acts as a tutorial for the entire bounty system, including how to restrain and transport outlaws. It also rewards a Mask item — which is useful for theft if you haven’t found one yet.

Where to Find Blix in Crimson Desert
Blix is located in the Nas Riverside area, near the mountain range northeast of Hernand City. Your quest marker will guide you to a large crevice between mountains — a narrow valley with just enough space for Blix and his goblin crew to set up a makeshift camp.
His patrol route starts near Unicorn Cliff and he walks south toward Nas Riverside with a group of goblin soldiers. He tries to blend in among them to avoid drawing attention.
Blix Only Spawns Before 1:00 PM (In-Game Time)
This is the most important thing to know. Blix only appears at his location before 1:00 PM in-game time. If you arrive after 1:00 PM, you will find goblin guards but Blix will not be among them.
Check your in-game clock before heading out. If it is already past 1:00 PM, head to the nearest bonfire and rest or skip time by 6 to 12 hours to reset the clock to an earlier part of the day. Then ride to Nas Riverside.
One exception: If you arrive at the location before 1:00 PM and Blix is there, he will stay visible even if the clock passes 1:00 PM while you are at the location. So getting there early and waiting is fine — arriving late is the problem.
You can change the time of day efficiently using our guide on how to change time of day in Crimson Desert.
How to Capture Blix Alive (Full Reward Method)
Capturing Blix alive is more rewarding and not much harder than just killing him — if you know what to do.

Step 1 — Approach Carefully
As you near the crevice, watch your minimap for the red outlaw icon. That is Blix. He moves with his goblin guards, so the icon will shift as the group patrols.
Do not run straight at the group. Blix will notice you and immediately start running. A fleeing Blix is harder to catch and may reset his position entirely if you lose him.

Step 2 — Thin Out the Goblin Guards First
The goblin guards are not strong. Even with starter gear they go down quickly. The smart approach is to pull them away from Blix one or two at a time using ranged attacks or by stepping in and out of their aggro range. Fight them away from Blix so he does not join in.
Once the guards are down, Blix will likely stop fighting and just stand there — or start walking away. Now is your chance.
Step 3 — Tackle Blix from Behind
Sneak up behind Blix and tackle him to pin him to the ground. If you approach from the front, he may run. From behind, the tackle lands cleanly.
Once pinned, punch him several times until the “Tie Up” option appears. Press it to restrain him. Blix is now captured alive.
Step 4 — Load Him onto Your Horse
With Blix tied up, interact with him to carry him on your shoulder. Then summon your horse.
To load Blix onto the horse:
- PlayStation: Press L1, then X
- Xbox: Press LB, then A
- PC: Examine the horse with the appropriate prompt, then load the body
Kliff will automatically carry Blix while riding. You can now fast travel on horseback back to Hernand.

Transporting Blix — What Not to Do
The journey back to Hernand is straightforward, but there are a few things that can go wrong.
Do not save and reload during transport. If you manually save and reload the game while carrying Blix, the quest may break and you will have to restart it. Keep riding and deliver him in one trip.
Avoid enemy-heavy routes. If your horse takes too much damage or gets knocked around, Kliff and Blix can both fall off. Stick to clear roads rather than cutting through enemy camps.
If the path is blocked: Dismount, carry Blix on foot through the obstacle, then summon your horse again on the other side.

Delivering Blix and Collecting Your Reward
Ride to the Constabulary (jail) in north Hernand City and approach the guards. A short cutscene plays where Kliff hands over Blix and collects the reward.
Reward Breakdown
| Capture Method | Silver Reward | Contribution EXP |
|---|---|---|
| Captured alive | 15 Silver | +200 House Celeste Contribution EXP |
| Killed (body delivered) | 7.50 Silver | +200 House Celeste Contribution EXP |
The Contribution EXP is the same either way. The difference is entirely in the Silver payout — alive gives you double. With only goblins guarding him, there is no good reason not to try for the alive capture.
Bonus Loot in the Crevice
While you are at Blix’s hideout, take a moment to check the crates and boxes scattered around the crevice. There are pottery items, gilded goods, and various sellable items stashed in the area. The best part? Picking these up does not count as theft. You will not gain any criminal status or faction penalty for looting the crevice freely.
It is a small bonus that makes the trip out to Nas Riverside even more worth the detour.
Blix’s Bounty Context — What Did He Do?
According to the bounty notice, Blix is wanted for unauthorized looting of state-owned ruins. He is wanted by the Security Office and falls under the House Celeste faction of Hernand. That is why completing his bounty increases your House Celeste Contribution rather than a different Hernand faction.
Contribution points unlock further quests, rewards, and standing with each faction as you progress through the region. Doing all the bounties in Hernand is one of the fastest ways to build that relationship early.
Blix Not Spawning — What to Do
If you arrive at the crevice and Blix is not there:
- Check the time. If it is past 1:00 PM in-game, Blix will not be there. Use a bonfire to skip forward 6–12 hours and try again.
- Check for goblin guards only. Sometimes the guards spawn but Blix does not. If that happens, move away from the area, wait at a bonfire, and return. His spawn is not 100% guaranteed on the first visit.
- Check the patrol path. Blix walks from Unicorn Cliff southward toward Nas Riverside. If he is not in the crevice, he may be further up the path to the southwest. The red outlaw icon on your minimap will show his exact position if you are close enough.
