Crimson Desert Warren Outlaw Bounty Guide
Bounty hunting is one of the most rewarding optional activities in Crimson Desert. Hernand, the game’s first major region, has nine outlaw bounties to track down. Warren is one of them. He won’t fight back, but getting to him takes some work — his location is locked behind a faction quest that many players miss entirely.
This guide covers exactly where to find his poster, how to reach him, how to capture him, and how to bring him back for the full reward.
Crimson Desert is available on PC via Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Check the official Crimson Desert site for news and updates.
Where to Find Warren’s Bounty Poster

Before you can hunt Warren, you need to read his bounty poster. Look around Hernand Village for purple poster icons on your minimap. These are pinned to notice boards and wooden poles throughout the village.
Read the poster to activate the bounty and begin your hunt. Once it is active, Warren’s general location will be revealed — the Unreachable Village in Pororin Forest, southeast of Hernand City.
How to Reach Warren — The Unreachable Village
This is where most players get stuck. Warren is inside the Unreachable Village, and you cannot simply walk in. The area is locked until you complete a specific faction quest.
You must first finish “The Unreachable Village” faction quest.
We have a full walkthrough for that quest right here: Crimson Desert Unreachable Village Quest Guide. Complete that first, then come back to grab Warren.
Once you have access to the Unreachable Village, head to the South Deepwoods section of the area. Warren is hiding on the far side of the village, tucked under a tree. He is not patrolling or moving around — he is just sitting there, so look carefully.

How to Capture Warren
Warren will not fight back, which makes this one of the easier bounty captures in the game. That said, there is one key thing to watch: do not hit him too many times or he will die, and a dead Warren means a reduced reward.
Here is how to do it cleanly:
- Approach Warren in his hiding spot under the tree.
- Tackle him — press X on PlayStation or A on Xbox.
- Hit him a few times until the tie-up prompt appears.
- Follow the prompt to bind him.
That is all. No combat, no chase. Just a quick tackle and a few hits. Keep it controlled — the moment you see the tie-up prompt, stop attacking.
How to Return Warren to Hernand
Getting Warren back to Hernand Town is the hardest part of this bounty purely because of the distance. The Unreachable Village is deep in Pororin Forest, which is a long way from Hernand Town.
Stow Warren on the back of your horse and ride back. Do not try to walk — it will take far too long and risks running into enemies that could kill him.
Once you reach Hernand Town, deliver Warren to the guards to collect your reward.
Warren Bounty Rewards
| Condition | Reward |
|---|---|
| Returned alive | 30 Silver Coins + Contribution Points |
| Returned dead | 15 Silver Coins |
Always aim to bring bounty targets back alive. The reward is doubled and you also earn Contribution Points, which are useful for unlocking things across the region. If you want tips on how to use those points effectively, see our guide on how to use Contribution Points in Crimson Desert.
Tips for This Bounty
- Do the faction quest first. There is no shortcut into the Unreachable Village without it.
- Stop hitting early. Warren has low health. Two or three hits after the tackle is usually enough. Watch for the tie-up prompt.
- Use your horse for the return trip. The distance from Pororin Forest back to Hernand Town is significant.
- Fast travel does not work while carrying a prisoner, so plan for the full ride back.
