Where Is Pororin Forest In Crimson Desert
Pororin Forest is located south of Hernand, past the Greymane Camp at Howling Hill. The closest visible landmarks on your map are the Goldleaf Guildhouse and the Sanctum of Temperance. It sits on the route to several southern quest markers, which is exactly why so many players stumble into it by accident.
The village inside the forest is called Pororin, and there is a second connected settlement called Florindale. Both are locked behind The Unreachable Village quest.
How To Trigger The Unreachable Village Quest
You need to get sleep-darted three times before Arkin appears.
Each time you walk into Pororin Forest, the floating teapot guardians and the Shai children will knock Kliff out and drag him back to the Outcast’s Hearth camp on the outskirts. This happens automatically regardless of your level or gear. You cannot fight your way past it.
Walk into the forest a third time, get darted, and wake up at Outcast’s Hearth. At this point, Arkin will appear nearby and a quest marker will show on your map. The quest is listed under the Trembling Woods section in the Pororin Forest Guardians faction tab in your Faction Quests menu.
If you already have the quest marker showing on your map from a previous attempt, you can skip straight to finding Arkin.
How To Talk To Arkin In Crimson Desert
After waking up at Outcast’s Hearth, head slightly southeast. You will find Arkin sitting on a tree stump with a small group of Shai children and animals gathered nearby.
Speak with Arkin. She explains that the village chief’s relic — his hat, essentially — has ended up on the head of a giant walking tree called an Ent in Trembling Gorge. She wants you to retrieve it before anyone notices it is missing.
Arkin asks you to follow her to the location. You can follow on foot or simply open your map and head to the new quest marker yourself. The marker is east of Pororin Forest, near The Ironwood area and Trembling Gorge. It is a fairly long ride. Summon your horse to get there faster.
Do not try to follow the marker directly through the village. It will take you through Pororin and the Shai will dart you again. Go around the village instead, or fast travel to the nearest waypoint and follow the marker from there.

How To Get The Pororin Relic In Crimson Desert
When you reach the marked area in Trembling Gorge, look for a massive, slow-walking tree — the Ent. The Pororin Relic (the chief’s hat) is sitting on top of its head. You need to climb up and grab it.
How To Climb The Giant Tree
There are two methods. One is much easier than the other.
Method 1 – Climb From The Ground (Harder)
Sprint toward one of the Ent’s legs and grab on when it is low enough. Climb the arms, not the legs. The legs swing heavily with each step and will shake you off easily. The arms barely move, making them the stable route up.
As the Ent walks, its legs rise and fall. Time your climb on a leg only to transfer to the torso as quickly as possible, then move across to the arms and climb upward. When your Stamina drops low, wait for the Ent to raise its limb so you can hang and rest without falling. Make your way up to the head, use your Lantern to spot the relic, then press Interact to pick it up.
Method 2 – Jump From The Cliff (Easier)
This is the faster approach. Look for the cliffs running alongside the Ent’s path. Climb up to a cliff that sits level with the Ent’s upper body or head. Wait for it to walk past, then jump and grab on when it passes close enough. This skips the entire lower-body climb and deposits you directly on the torso or higher.
The Ent’s path loops through the gorge, so you will not have to wait long. Once on, press Resist whenever the Ent takes a large step to avoid being shaken off. Grab the relic from its head and you are done.
How To Complete The Unreachable Village Quest
After grabbing the relic, jump off the Ent’s head toward the nearby cliff. Head to the cliff marker to find Arkin waiting for you.
Speak with Arkin one last time and hand over the Pororin Relic. She is pleased and holds up her end of the deal. The Shai will now recognise Kliff as a friend of Pororin. You are free to enter the village whenever you want.

What Unlocks After Completing The Unreachable Village Quest
This is where the quest pays off. Entering Pororin for the first time opens up several features that are genuinely useful throughout the rest of the game.
Dyehouse
Pororin has a Dyehouse where you can change the colour of your equipment. It works the same as the Dyehouses in Hernand and other cities — bring the dye and the item, pay a small fee, and change the look.
Research Institute (Lumiel)
This is the most valuable unlock. Inside Pororin, find Lumiel, the lead researcher. Bring her 5x Lavender to kick off the Pororin research tree.

Tip: Save the 500 Silver projects for later. Focus on Getting Closer to Nature and the Medicinal Herbs research first — both have strong early returns. To collect a reward and unlock the next tier, you need to physically visit Lumiel and hand in the completed research in person.

Children Of The Woods (Follow-Up Quest)
After entering Pororin, speak with Polan inside the village. She will trigger the Children of the Woods quest, asking you to find four Shai children who have wandered across Pywel.
Each Shai is in a different region:
- First Shai – Near a glowing tree in the Hernand region
- Second Shai (Balan) – In Redtree Forest, west of Demeniss, inside a cave at the mountain’s edge
- Third Shai (Alder) – Three Brothers’ Cliff Wyvern Nest in southwestern Deleysia
- Fourth Shai (Florian) – Between the rocks where rabbits gather, use your Lantern to find her
Polan gives you a traveller’s log book with clues to each location. Return all four Shai to Pororin and speak to Polan again to finish the quest. The reward is the Pororin Petal Hat.
Faction Standing
Completing The Unreachable Village quest formally establishes an alliance between the Greymanes and the Pororin Forest Guardians faction. This improves your standing with the Shai and unlocks further faction quests in this region.

Tips For This Quest
- Do not bring food to restore Stamina while climbing. You cannot eat during the tree climb. Eat before you start and make sure your Stamina is full.
- Use the cliff shortcut. It cuts the climb from several minutes down to seconds.
- Do not go through the village to reach the quest marker. Always go around. The Shai will dart you every time regardless of whether you have spoken to Arkin.
- The Ent is friendly. It will not attack you. Do not waste abilities on it. Just climb.
- Save before the climb if you are low on Stamina upgrades. Falling off and restarting the whole climb from the bottom is frustrating.
