How To Get A Car In NTE (Neverness To Everness)

Getting around Hethereau on foot is fine early on, but once the map opens up, you will want a set of wheels. How To Unlock Vehicles In NTE

You do not start the game with a car, but you do get a vehicle quite early. Here is how the unlock process works:

Step 1 — Complete the Photo Studio Episode

After finishing the Photo Studio Episode in the main story, a Rover A1 bike will spawn right outside the shop. This is your first free vehicle in the game. It is a scooter — think Vespa-style — and it works well for getting through narrow alleys and short trips around the city. It is slow on the open road, but it gets the job done early on.

At the end of Prologue 2: Good Business, Better Treasure, you also receive a red scooter that can be summoned anywhere with enough space.

Step 2 — Unlock City Tycoon and Reach Level 3

To buy a proper car from a dealership, you need to reach City Tycoon Level 3. City Tycoon unlocks after you complete the Good Morning Hethereau main quest and meet Chiz at Bridge Crossing Plaza. Step 3 — Visit a Vehicle Dealership

Vehicle dealerships appear on the map as blue car icons. There are three in Hethereau, each in a different district. Walk in, talk to the agent, browse the available vehicles, test drive before buying, and then purchase with Fons. That is all there is to it.

How To Buy A Car In NTE — Step By Step

1. Unlock City Tycoon by completing the Good Morning Hethereau quest.
2. Reach City Tycoon Level 3 by earning Fons and completing tutorial quests.
3. Open your map and look for a blue car icon to find a nearby dealership.
4. Enter the dealership and talk to the agent at the front desk.
5. Browse available vehicles and compare their stats — top speed, acceleration, and durability.
6. Use the Book a Test Drive option to try a car before committing.
7. Select your vehicle and tap Purchase.
8. You will receive the vehicle’s Key Fob in your inventory.

There are three dealerships across Hethereau. Each one stocks different vehicles at different price points.

Novus Vehicle Dealership — Bridge Crossings

Located on Torchwood Avenue in Bridge Crossings, Novus is where most players will buy their first real car. It covers the budget to mid-range segment and is the most accessible dealership early in the game. The receptionist here is Kaylee, and the dealership is inside the New Way Novus shopping complex. Regalia Vehicle Dealership — New Herland District

Located on Camelot Avenue in the New Herland District, Regalia is the premium dealership in Hethereau. It boasts over a hundred years of history in the lore and stocks the most expensive and high-performance vehicles in the game. This is also the only place to buy a motorcycle in version 1.0.

Located on Saint Torres Avenue in the Miguel District, TerraX currently sells one vehicle: the G3. The G3 is an off-road vehicle — think G-class SUV — built for rough terrain and heavy customization. It costs 240,000 Fons and has a top speed of 138 km/h. If you like modifying your vehicle or plan to drive off-road, the G3 is the most modifiable car in the game right now.

All Vehicle Types In NTE

NTE has three main categories of vehicles, each with different handling characteristics:

• Cars — The most common type. Good balance of speed and control. Best for general city driving and racing.
• Motorcycles — Faster acceleration than cars and more nimble in tight spaces. Watch out — crashing at high speed on a bike will throw your character off and deal damage.
• Scooters — The slowest option, capping at around 40 km/h. Great for short trips and exploring alleys safely at a relaxed pace.

How To Summon Your Car In NTE

Once you buy a vehicle, you do not need to walk to a garage every time you want to use it. Here is how to summon it instantly:

• On PC — Press T to use the Key Fob. You must be standing on or near the side of the road.
• On PS5 — Open the radial menu with L1, press R1 to switch to Wheel Mode, then select your vehicle with the Right Stick.
• For faster access, add your vehicle key to the Hotbar via the radial menu so you can summon it anytime without opening your inventory.

To add a vehicle to your Key Fob: open your Inventory, go to the Important section, press the icon at the bottom, empty a slot in the Key Fob, choose the vehicle you want, and confirm.

How To Modify Your Car In NTE

You can customize your vehicle’s appearance and performance at a Rampage Players Vehicle Modification Shop. These appear on the map as a blue car icon with a cogwheel. Walk in and talk to the staff. From there, you can:

• Change the vehicle’s color and skin
• Upgrade parts for better performance
• Repair damage to restore durability
• Change your License Plate (requires City Tycoon Level 20)

The G3 from TerraX is the most modifiable vehicle in the game, making it a popular pick for players who enjoy customizing their ride.

How To Repair Your Car In NTE

As you drive, your vehicle takes damage and durability drops. A damaged car suffers big penalties to top speed and handling. If durability hits zero, the car breaks down — and if it explodes, your character takes serious damage too. Always repair before a race. There are four ways to repair vehicles in NTE:

• Visit any Rampage Players Vehicle Modification Shop.
• Open the City Tycoon menu and tap Repair at the bottom right of the screen.
• Start any activity that requires a vehicle and press Repair before the activity begins.

How To Invite Espers Into Your Car In NTE

You can take your favorite characters for a ride in NTE. To do this:

• Open the Garage section in City Tycoon.
• Press the plus icon in the passenger slot.
• Choose an Esper you have at least Bond Level 2 with.
• Press Confirm.

Driving Tips For NTE

• Use Comfort Mode early — It limits your top speed automatically, which helps you avoid spinning out on tight corners. Switch to Sport Mode once you get comfortable with the handling.
• Test drive before you buy — Stats on paper do not always match how a car feels. Always test drive to make sure the handling suits you.
• Drift carefully — Drifting causes a sudden loss of speed. In most city situations, it is faster to brake normally before a curve rather than drift through it.
• Repair before races — A damaged vehicle with reduced durability will lose badly. Always repair first.
• Start with the C2000 — If you are not sure what to buy first, the C2000 at 50,000 Fons is the smartest early purchase. It is enough to enter the racing scene and is much faster than the starter scooter.
• Do not panic during explosions — If your car is about to explode, exit the vehicle immediately and sprint away before it blows.

How To Get Free Vehicles In NTE

Not every vehicle requires Fons to obtain. Here are some other ways to get cars:

• Main story reward — The red scooter is yours after Prologue 2. Free, no effort needed.
