LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight: The Red Hood Gang All Collectibles (Ace Cards, WayneTech Caches, Red Brick)
TL;DR
- The Red Hood Gang mission takes place inside Ace Chemicals in Chapter 1.
- There are 5 Ace Cards, 5 WayneTech Caches, and 1 Red Brick to find.
- All collectibles are inside the building — nothing is in the outside section.
- Collecting all 5 Ace Cards earns you the Ace Cards Batcave Trophy.
- The Red Brick is called Toxic Waste and is hidden behind a glass pipe puzzle.
- Missed something? Use the Batcomputer in the Batcave to replay the mission anytime.
The Red Hood Gang mission is the biggest mission in Chapter 1. Batman and Jim Gordon head into Ace Chemicals to track down the mysterious Red Hood. The building is sprawling and full of branching paths — and that makes it very easy to walk straight past collectibles without realising it.
This guide covers every Ace Card, WayneTech Cache, and the Red Brick in the order you encounter them. Follow it through and you will leave Ace Chemicals at 100% completion.
The Red Hood Gang Collectibles Overview
Here is everything you are hunting in this mission:
- Ace Cards: 5 total — reward is the Ace Cards Batcave Trophy
- WayneTech Caches: 5 total — reward is 5 WayneTech Chips for gadget upgrades
- Red Brick: 1 total — called Toxic Waste, found in the central production hall
One important thing to know before you start: all collectibles are inside Ace Chemicals. The outside section of this mission — where you analyse the three teddy bears and investigate the helicopter crash — has no collectibles to pick up. You can move through that part freely without stopping to search.
All Ace Card Locations in The Red Hood Gang
Ace Card 1 — Fan Bridge (After the Updraft Vent)

Once you are inside Ace Chemicals and have built the updraft vent to cross the first destroyed bridge, glide over the gap. The first Ace Card is right in front of you beside the console on the other side. It sits in plain sight, so just make sure you do not run straight past it while heading to the next objective.
Ace Card 2 — Teddy Bear Tea Party (Upper Ledge)

After crossing the second destroyed bridge, enter the next room and turn left. Use your grapple gun to climb up two ledges and reach a hidden upper area. At the top, you will find a strange teddy bear tea party. The second Ace Card is at the back of the room, up the stairs near the bears.
Ace Card 3 — Top of the Ventilation Shaft

When you reach the large ventilation shaft section, use the updraft to glide to the very top — do not stop at the first exit. Once you are at the highest point of the shaft, look up above the vent exit and you will see the third Ace Card hanging there. Destroy it before you drop down and leave.
Ace Card 4 — Red Hood One Chase (Elevator Room, Back Right Corner)

During the Red Hood One chase sequence, you will eventually reach a room where you need to raise an elevator using grapple plugs. Before you do anything else, check the back right corner of this room. The fourth Ace Card is tucked there, partially hidden. It is very easy to miss because the chase makes you feel rushed, but you have time to grab it.
Ace Card 5 — Final Room (Right of the Blue Pipe)

Near the very end of the mission, Red Hood One fires a rocket at you. After you dodge it, look to the right of the blue pipe used to extinguish the fires. There is a small dead-end path behind the pipes. Follow it and the fifth and final Ace Card is waiting at the end. Destroy it to complete the set and unlock the Ace Cards Batcave Trophy.
All WayneTech Cache Locations in The Red Hood Gang
WayneTech Cache 1 — Below the First Elevator (Secret Floor)

After you defeat the large Red Hood brute and ride the first elevator down, do not head forward immediately. Turn around and look to the right. There is a ledge you can reach with your grapple gun. Grapple up, then grapple again to reach a second hidden ledge above — a secret floor. Glide across the gap on this upper level and the first WayneTech Cache is on the other side.
WayneTech Cache 2 — Bottom of the Ventilation Shaft

Inside the ventilation shaft, glide upward and look for a target on the wall. Hit it with a Batarang to deactivate the fan below. Once the fan stops, drop to the bottom of the shaft where the second WayneTech Cache is sitting. There is a button at the bottom that reactivates the fan so you can continue upward afterward.
WayneTech Cache 3 — Large Enemy Room (Left Path)

After exiting the ventilation shaft, you enter a large room full of enemies. Clear them out, then take the left path along the wall instead of heading straight through the middle. The third WayneTech Cache is tucked along the left side of this room near the large mixing tank.
WayneTech Cache 4 — Glass Floor Corridor (Left Side)

After the large enemy room, you walk through a long corridor with a glass floor — you can see Red Hood Gang members partying below you. Once you exit this hallway, look to the left instead of turning right. The fourth WayneTech Cache is sitting there in the open on the left-hand side of the room.
WayneTech Cache 5 — Fire Section (Ladder and Batclaw Door)

During the fire section near the end of the chase, you will come across a pipe spilling water. Look left and climb the ladder nearby. At the top of the ladder is a door held shut with Batclaw pulls. Use your Batclaw to yank it open and the fifth WayneTech Cache is inside the room behind it.
Red Brick Location in The Red Hood Gang (Toxic Waste)

The Red Brick is in the central production hall — the large room with the glass-floor corridor — and it requires a short puzzle to unlock.
Before going through the door that leads forward into the main production area, turn around and find the vent on your left. Crawl through it. You will enter a room with a glass pipe that has several holes leaking green toxic ooze. Here is what to do:
- Switch to Jim Gordon and use his gum gun to plug the holes leaking green ooze.
- Switch to Batman and use his grapple gun to pull a lever in the room.
- Switch back to Jim Gordon and use the gum gun one final time.
This pushes the Red Brick — Toxic Waste — through the glass pipe until it pops out at the opening where you can pick it up. It is one of the more involved Red Brick puzzles in the early game, but the steps are straightforward once you know the order.

Rewards for 100% Completion in The Red Hood Gang
Finishing everything in this mission earns you:
- Ace Cards Batcave Trophy — displayed in your Batcave customisation area
- 5 WayneTech Chips — used for gadget and character upgrades
- Toxic Waste Red Brick — a useful modifier unlocked for your playthrough
- 1 Skill Brick (Yellow Brick) — awarded for completing the mission
Tips for Getting Everything in One Run
- Take your time after the first elevator. Cache 1 is behind you the moment you land. Most players walk straight forward and miss it entirely because the game points you ahead.
- Reach the very top of the ventilation shaft. Both Cache 2 and Ace Card 3 are at the top of the shaft — stop at the highest point before gliding out.
- The Red Hood One chase is not as urgent as it feels. You have time to stop and check corners during the chase sequence. Ace Card 4 in the elevator room is worth a few seconds of your time before you engage the grapple plugs.
- Look left in every new room. A pattern runs through this mission: Caches 3 and 4 are both on the left side of their rooms. When you enter a new space, check left first before engaging enemies or moving on.
- Do the Red Brick vent before the main door. The vent for the Toxic Waste Red Brick is easy to miss because it sits behind you relative to the path forward. Spin around before you use the main door and you will spot it.
