TL;DR
- Training Data is found in Terra Dome, Lunum Mines, and Central Port — not in the first two sectors
- There are 2 Training Data items per sector that has them — 6 total across the game
- Collecting Training Data unlocks Training Sim missions inside the Shelter’s Sim Pod
- Training Data counts toward 100% sector completion — do not skip it
- You need to complete all Training Sims for the Master of the Simulator trophy/achievement
- Nothing is missable — clean up in Unknown Signal Mode after the story
- The Shelter must be upgraded to Level 2 before the Training Sim pod becomes available
Training Data is one of the more overlooked collectible types in Pragmata. Unlike Mini Cabins or REMs, it does not make a sound and has no flashy visual effect. It just sits in the world waiting to be found. But it matters a lot — each piece you find unlocks new Training Sim challenges in the Shelter, and completing those challenges is required for 100% completion and the Master of the Simulator trophy.
There is no Training Data in the Solar Power Plant or the Mass Production Array. The collectibles only appear from Sector 3 onward. Here is every location across all three sectors that contain them.
What Is Training Data and Why Does It Matter?
Training Data items are physical collectibles found in hidden rooms and off-path areas throughout the sectors. When you pick one up and return to the Shelter, it unlocks new missions in the Training Sim Pod — a challenge room that sits next to Cabin in the Shelter hub.
The Training Sim Pod itself only becomes available after you upgrade the Shelter to Level 2. You upgrade the Shelter by defeating sector bosses, which awards you a Shelter License Key each time. So by the time you are in Sector 3, the Sim Pod should already be open.
Each Training Sim challenge has a main objective to clear plus optional bonus objectives for extra rewards. Rewards include Upgrade Components, Cabin Coins, and other upgrade materials. You do not need to complete all bonus objectives in one attempt — any you finish carry over between runs.
Completing every Training Sim main objective is required for the Master of the Simulator trophy. Finding every Training Data item is required for 100% sector completion.
Sector 3 – Terra Dome Training Data Locations
The Terra Dome is the first sector to contain Training Data. There are 2 items here across two different sub-areas.
Training Data 1 – Eco Modeling Lab (Broken Cabin Room)
This one is found in the first half of the Terra Dome during the Eco Modeling Lab section. As you progress through the area, you will reach a point where the route splits into two paths — A and B. Take both paths to grab their Safe Boxes, then continue forward.
Shortly after the split paths converge again, look for a small room on the left side of your path. It is easy to walk straight past it. Inside this room is a broken Cabin fixture. Also inside is a chest. Open the chest to find Mod 1 — Cheap Shot alongside the Training Data 1 item. Picking this up unlocks additional Training Sim missions back at the Shelter.
Quick tip: If you are following the story path and you have not turned left into any side rooms after the A/B split, you have likely walked past this one. Backtrack slightly and check the left wall.

Training Data 2 – Soil Research (Beach Area)
This one is found considerably later in the Terra Dome, in the Soil Research sub-area. You will know you are in the right part of the sector when you reach a beautiful beach cutscene — one of the most memorable quiet moments in the game.
After the cutscene ends, turn right rather than following the main path forward. Use the Lim Eraser on the blue crystal barrier in this area, then drop down through a hatch in the floor. You will land in a small room below. Inside this room is a broken Cabin structure. The Training Data 2 item is inside it.
Quick tip: Most players head straight forward after the beach cutscene because it is an emotionally engaging moment. Force yourself to turn right first and check the area before continuing.
Sector 4 – Lunum Mines Training Data Locations
The Lunum Mines has 2 Training Data items spread across its sub-areas. The mines are more vertical and combat-heavy than earlier sectors, so these can be easy to walk past in the middle of a fight.
Training Data 1 – Warehouse (Zipline Panel Puzzle Room)
This Training Data is found in the Warehouse sub-area of the Lunum Mines. You will reach a room containing a complex panel puzzle with movable boxes, a zipline, and Mini Cabin 2 sitting on a pipe near the ceiling.
After you figure out the panel puzzle and deal with the enemies in the room, look to the right of the zipline before riding it up. Training Data 1 is sitting right there to the right of the zipline anchor point. It is in the same room as Mini Cabin 2, so if you already found and shot that cabin, you were very close.
Quick tip: The zipline is a natural forward momentum pull — players usually ride it immediately after solving the puzzle. Stop and look right before grabbing the zipline.
Training Data 2 – Nexus Tower (Entrance Building)
This Training Data is found in the Nexus Tower sub-area, which is the final section of the Lunum Mines. After the long climb through the mines, you will enter the Nexus Tower building through its front entrance.
As soon as you walk inside the first building of the Nexus Tower area, look to your right near the railing. There is a broken Cabin structure next to the railing. The Training Data 2 item is inside it. Escape Hatch 6 is in the same room, so you will want to grab both before moving deeper into the tower.
Quick tip: This is near the end of a long, difficult sector. Players pushing forward after the Luna Digger boss tend to rush through this area. Take a breath and sweep the room before heading upstairs.

Sector 5 – Central Port Training Data Locations
Central Port is the final sector of the game and has 2 Training Data items. The sector is well-paced but has a lot happening at once — new enemy types, story revelations, and new abilities all hitting together. Stay focused on exploration between fights.
Training Data 1 – Research Sector (Elevator / Orbital Elevator View Room)
After an elevator ride in the Research Sector part of Central Port, you will arrive at a dramatic viewpoint overlooking the Orbital Elevator — one of the visually striking moments of the sector. When you step into the room after this elevator ride, do not rush forward.
Training Data 1, Escape Hatch 2, and a Red Gate Key are all available in this same room. Sweep the entire space before moving on. The Training Data sits alongside the other items here — check every corner of the room after taking in the view.
Quick tip: This room has three collectibles in it. Use Diana’s scan to flag any remaining items before leaving.
Training Data 2 – Research Sector (Lock Room / Side Railing)
This one comes after a room where you fight a larger enemy encounter and unlock Lock Number 2. After clearing the fight and opening the lock, you will have a choice of which door to exit through.
Go through the other door — the one that is not the main story path forward. Just outside that door, next to the railing, you will find Training Data 2 sitting there in the open. It is easy to miss because the story pulls you in the opposite direction, but it is right there if you check before committing to the next area.
Quick tip: Whenever you have a choice of two exits in Central Port, always check both before moving on. Several collectibles in this sector are through the secondary exit.

What Do Training Sims Unlock?
Every time you bring a Training Data item back to the Shelter and access the Sim Pod, new challenges become available. Each challenge is set in a contained combat arena with specific conditions — no outside gear or upgrades carry in. You always fight at a baseline level the game sets for that challenge.
Each sim has one required objective to clear it and several optional bonus objectives for extra rewards. You earn Upgrade Components, Cabin Coins, and other materials for completing them. These resources feed directly into upgrading Hugh and Diana’s gear at the Firmware Updater.
You need to complete the main objective in every Training Sim to earn the Master of the Simulator trophy. The bonus objectives are optional but worth doing for the resources.
Tips for Finding Training Data
- Training Data only appears from Sector 3 onward. Do not stress about missing it in the Solar Power Plant or Mass Production Array — it simply is not there.
- Check every room with a broken Cabin structure. Multiple Training Data items in the game are inside broken Cabin fixtures. If you see that object model, always investigate.
- Use Diana’s scan constantly. Her scan ability highlights nearby collectibles and points of interest. Use it after every combat encounter before moving forward.
- Check secondary exits. In Central Port especially, Training Data tends to be through the door you were not planning to use.
- Do not forget the Lim Eraser. Training Data 2 in the Terra Dome is behind a blue crystal barrier. Have the eraser active when you are in the Soil Research area.
- Unknown Signal Mode covers everything. If you finish the story and realise you missed a Training Data item, jump back to that sector using the Moon Orbit Terminal and grab it.
