Where to Farm Phantasmal Lakshmi Souls – 100% Drop Rate
This is the most important thing to know about Phantasmal Lakshmi: the open-world monster drops a soul on every single kill. That is a 100% drop rate, which is exceptional. Most Cogni pets have a partial drop chance that means you will sometimes kill the monster and get nothing. Not here.
The monster is Level 45. You need to be at a high enough level to kill it quickly for the farming to be worth your time. Once you are, this becomes one of the most efficient Cogni pets to soul farm in the game — 25 kills gets you to Lv. 2, 100 kills total gets you to max level Lv. 3.
The Phantasmal Lakshmi monster’s exact zone location is not listed in the wiki data, but you can find its spawn points via the Source tab when examining the pet in-game. Head there and run the spawns. With a 100% drop rate you can hit your soul targets in a single solid farming session.
Once the pet is maxed, further kills on the Phantasmal Lakshmi monster will drop Cogni Soul Crystals instead. Those feed into your Cogni Genus Insight progress, so the farming area stays useful even after you are done leveling the pet.
