Destiny 2: All Artifacts in Monument of Triumph

Destiny 2 Monument of Triumph artifacts — all 7 historical artifacts, every mod listed, and what builds benefit most from each one.

  • Monument of Triumph gives you access to all 7 historical artifacts simultaneously — no seasonal rotation.
  • The 7 artifacts are NPA Repulsion Regulator, Queensfoil Censer, Hunter’s Journal, Tablet of Ruin, Slayer Baron Apothecary Satchel, Implement of Curiosity, and Encrypted Data Disk.
  • You can only equip one artifact at a time — pick the one that fits your build.
  • Each artifact lets you slot 7 mods: Tier 1 fills all 7 slots, Tier 2 fills the last 5, and Tier 3 is capped at 2 slots.
  • Anti-Champion mods are gone — weapon archetypes now have intrinsic Champion counters.
  • Artifact mods now save into loadouts and are disabled in Competitive and Trials of Osiris.

Destiny 2 Monument of Triumph artifacts represent the final, permanent buildcrafting sandbox for the game. With Update 9.7.0 on June 9, 2026, Bungie handed players access to all seven historical artifacts — from the NPA Repulsion Regulator all the way through the Encrypted Data Disk. There are no more seasonal swaps and no more refunding dances to re-spec earlier columns. Pick the artifact that fits your playstyle and build around it. Destiny 2 is free to play on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and the official Bungie site.

How Do Artifacts Work in Monument of Triumph?

The artifact system was overhauled with Update 9.7.0. Here is what changed and how it works now:

  • You can only have one artifact active at a time, chosen from the seven available.
  • Each artifact lets you equip 7 mods total: Tier 1 mods go into all 7 slots, Tier 2 mods are restricted to the last 5 slots, and Tier 3 mods are hard-capped at 2 slots.
  • No more unlock order dependency — you can slot any mod in its tier without clearing earlier columns first.
  • Artifact mods save directly into loadouts and sync through DIM.
  • Artifact mods are disabled in Competitive Crucible and Trials of Osiris — do not build around them for those modes.
  • Anti-Champion mods are completely removed from artifacts. Intrinsic Champion counters are now tied to weapon archetypes. Aggressive and High-Impact weapons stagger Unstoppable Champions. Precision and Adaptive weapons break Barrier shields. Lightweight and Rapid-Fire weapons disrupt Overload Champions.

Which Artifact Should You Pick in Monument of Triumph?

There is no single best artifact — the right pick depends entirely on your subclass and weapon loadout. Here is a quick guide:

  • Arc Amplified or Void Breach loops → NPA Repulsion Regulator
  • Solar ignitions, Radiant uptime, Rocket Launchers → Queensfoil Censer
  • Prismatic, Sniper Rifles, Auto Rifles, or Swords → Hunter’s Journal
  • Arc Bolt Charge, Trace Rifles, Fusion Rifles, Glaives → Tablet of Ruin
  • Stasis crystals, Grenade Launchers, Finisher chains → Slayer Baron Apothecary Satchel
  • Frost Armor, Scout Rifles, Sidearms, Strand-Solar hybrid → Implement of Curiosity
  • Swords, Kinetic weapons, Void buffs → Encrypted Data Disk

Remember that artifact mods are disabled in Competitive and Trials. Build your ritual playlist and endgame loadouts around artifacts, but keep separate loadouts without artifact mod reliance for those two PvP modes.
