- Seventh Seraph armor drops exclusively from Cosmodrome activities — patrol, public events, and Lost Sectors.
- Master Lost Sectors are the fastest and most reliable farming method for Tier 5 pieces.
- The Cosmodrome rotates between two Lost Sectors: Exodus Garden 2A and Veles Labyrinth.
- Distortions on the Cosmodrome dramatically increase your chances of T5 drops from public events.
- The 2-piece set bonus is Rasputin’s Wrath — Solar kills and Seventh Seraph or IKELOS weapon kills grant stacking Warmind Charges.
- The 4-piece bonus is Rasputin’s Reprisal — Warmind Charges trigger Solar detonations that damage enemies and heal allies.
Seventh Seraph armor in Destiny 2 is one of the most popular destination sets in the game right now, and for good reason. The Monument of Triumph update gave it a Warmind Charge set bonus that makes it genuinely powerful for Solar, IKELOS, and area-of-effect builds. Every piece drops from Cosmodrome activities, and with the right approach you can fill out the full set quickly — including Tier 5 versions. Destiny 2 is free to play on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and the official Bungie site.
Where Does Seventh Seraph Armor Drop?
Seventh Seraph armor is tied entirely to the Cosmodrome. Any activity in that patrol zone that drops a Legendary Engram has a chance to include a Seventh Seraph armor piece. This includes patrols, public events, Lost Sectors, and enemy kills anywhere in the Cosmodrome’s play space.
The armor is not craftable, so every piece you get will have random stat rolls. You may need to run the Cosmodrome multiple times to land on a piece with the stat archetype that fits your build. For a breakdown of how armor archetypes and stat rolls work in 2026, check our Monument of Triumph artifacts guide for context on how set bonuses interact with your mod setup.
Best Way to Farm Seventh Seraph Armor

Master Lost Sectors (Fastest Method)
Master Lost Sectors are the single best farming method for Seventh Seraph armor. The Cosmodrome rotates between two Lost Sectors on a daily schedule — Exodus Garden 2A in The Divide and Veles Labyrinth in the Forgotten Shore. Check the Director each day to see which one is active.
On Master difficulty, each Lost Sector completion can drop up to two Seventh Seraph armor pieces at the end, and both can be Tier 5 versions. Master difficulty also drops Legendary Engrams from enemies as you clear the sector, giving you additional chances at pieces during the run itself.
The main requirement is being strong enough to handle enemies above your Power level. Master difficulty is tuned to be challenging, but it is very manageable with a solid loadout. Champion counters are now intrinsic to weapon archetypes since Monument of Triumph, so you no longer need specific artifact mods to deal with them. Make sure your weapons cover Barrier, Overload, and Unstoppable depending on the active modifier for that sector.
- Exodus Garden 2A — Located in The Divide. Start at The Steppes fast travel point and move through Dock 13 into The Divide. Climb the large silo and look for the hole in the wall. Fallen enemies inside.
- Veles Labyrinth — Located in the Forgotten Shore on the south side of the Cosmodrome. Enter through an open hatch on a shipwreck near the back wall. Fallen and Hive enemies inside.
Cosmodrome Public Events

Public Events are a slower but low-effort method. Any Legendary Engram that drops during a Cosmodrome public event can roll Seventh Seraph armor. They are not always available and take time to trigger, but they require far less focus than Master Lost Sectors.
The more important reason to pay attention to public events is Distortions. Monument of Triumph introduced Distortions — destination-wide events that last one hour and rotate across all patrol zones. When the Cosmodrome is Distorted, public events are followed immediately by a Distortion-specific bonus event that drops additional loot. More importantly, gear that drops during a Distortion has a much higher chance of being Tier 5. If you notice the Cosmodrome is currently Distorted, prioritize public events during that window for the best possible Seventh Seraph drops.
General Cosmodrome Patrol
Simply patrolling the Cosmodrome and killing enemies will generate a slow trickle of Legendary Engrams, all of which can include Seventh Seraph pieces. This is the most passive method and is best used when you are already in the zone for other reasons — completing bounties, running patrols, or waiting for a public event to start. It is not worth farming patrol specifically for armor, but the drops add up over time if you are active in the Cosmodrome.
Seventh Seraph Armor Set Bonus

The Seventh Seraph set received its own unique set bonus with Monument of Triumph’s Armor 3.0 overhaul. Both bonuses are always passive — no activation required. Equipping two matching pieces turns on the 2-piece bonus. Equipping four turns on both.
2-Piece Bonus: Rasputin’s Wrath
Final blows with area-of-effect damage, Solar abilities, Seventh Seraph weapons, or IKELOS weapons grant Warmind Charges. Each stack of Warmind Charge increases your Weapons and Grenade stats. This bonus is easy to trigger constantly on a Solar subclass or with any Seventh Seraph or IKELOS weapon in your loadout.
4-Piece Bonus: Rasputin’s Reprisal
While you have Warmind Charges, defeating powerful combatants, destroying a construct, or destroying a Tangle releases a Solar detonation that damages nearby combatants and heals allies. Constructs include barricades, turrets, and Stasis crystals. This bonus turns your Warmind Charge uptime into a passive area damage and sustain tool against elites and minibosses.
What Builds Work Best With Seventh Seraph Armor?
The set bonus is built around three trigger sources: Solar abilities, Seventh Seraph weapons, and IKELOS weapons. Any build that uses one of these consistently will maintain Warmind Charges with very little effort.
Solar subclasses are the natural fit. Every Solar ability kill charges the 2-piece bonus, and the 4-piece Solar detonation ties directly into Solar identity. A Solar Hunter, Titan, or Warlock with any weapon of choice can get full value from both bonuses.
Seventh Seraph and IKELOS weapons are the other trigger. If you want to run a non-Solar subclass, equipping a Seventh Seraph or IKELOS weapon in any slot lets you still stack Warmind Charges through weapon kills. Pairing the armor with weapons like the IKELOS SMG or a Seventh Seraph sidearm means your weapon kills do double duty — damage and stat stacking at the same time.
The Rasputin’s Reprisal 4-piece detonation also works well alongside builds that destroy Stasis crystals or barricades frequently. A Stasis subclass that spawns and shatters crystals regularly will fire off detonations constantly without any Solar ability requirement, making the Seventh Seraph set surprisingly flexible across elements.

How to Get Tier 5 Seventh Seraph Armor
Not all Seventh Seraph armor drops at Tier 5. Here is how to get the highest tier pieces specifically:
- Master Lost Sectors — The most reliable Tier 5 source. Up to two pieces per clear, and both can be T5.
- Cosmodrome Distortions — Gear that drops during a Distortion window has a high chance of being T5. Watch for the Distortion indicator on the Cosmodrome in the Director.
- Upgrade existing pieces — Armor 3.0 allows you to upgrade armor pieces to higher tiers through the upgrade system. If you land a Seventh Seraph piece with the right stat archetype but low tier, you can upgrade it rather than waiting for a T5 drop.
For more on upgrading and gear tiers, see our Tier 5 weapons and gear guide and our Power Level guide to reach 550 to make sure your Power is high enough to run Master difficulty comfortably.
Tips for Farming Seventh Seraph Armor Efficiently
- Check the daily Lost Sector rotation before loading in. The Cosmodrome alternates between Exodus Garden 2A and Veles Labyrinth. Know which is active so you go straight to the right entrance.
- Always run Master difficulty. Standard difficulty can drop Seventh Seraph armor, but Master difficulty dramatically increases the volume and tier of drops per run.
- Watch for Cosmodrome Distortions. A one-hour Distortion window on the Cosmodrome is the best time to stack public event runs for T5 drops.
- Run all three characters. Each character has its own drop pool. Farming the Master Lost Sector on all three characters per day triiples your chances at the stat archetype you need.
- Equip a Ghost mod for armor archetype targeting. Monument of Triumph added Ghost mods that let you target specific armor stat archetypes during farming. Slot one before running to push drops toward the archetype your build needs.
