TL;DR
- There are 10 active raids in Destiny 2 as of 2026 — all with dedicated loot pools per encounter.
- Each raid has 6 Legendary weapons (Desert Perpetual Epic has 9), 1 Exotic, and a full armor set with 2-piece and 4-piece set bonuses.
- All raid weapons share a unique Origin Trait tied to their raid — this trait doesn’t appear on any other weapon in the game.
- Featured raids in the weekly rotation are infinitely farmable — no per-encounter lockout while featured.
- You can spend Spoils of Conquest at each raid’s loot kiosk to buy specific weapons for 20 Spoils each.
- Master difficulty drops Adept versions of raid weapons with extra stat bonuses and access to Adept mods.
- Secret chests inside raids can drop gear you’ve already unlocked that week — they’re worth grabbing every run.
Destiny 2 raid loot tables tell you which weapons and armor drop from which encounter inside each raid. This matters because loot is encounter-specific — if you want a specific weapon, you need to run the right fight. This page covers all 10 active raids, including the newest Desert Perpetual and Desert Perpetual Epic, and lists every weapon drop by encounter for 2026.
How Destiny 2 Raid Loot Works in 2026
Each raid encounter drops a specific set of weapons and armor. You get one drop per encounter per character per week — unless that raid is currently featured in the weekly rotation, in which case you can farm it freely.
With the Monument of Triumph update, two raids and two dungeons rotate weekly as featured activities. Featured raids reward Deepsight weapons and Tier 5 armor from encounters and challenges, with Master difficulty adding Adept weapon drops from challenges.
Every raid also has a loot kiosk after the final boss. Spend 20 Spoils of Conquest to buy any weapon or armor piece from that raid’s pool. You earn Spoils by completing any raid, so you can stockpile them in easier raids and spend in harder ones.
All raid armor sets now have 2-piece and 4-piece bonuses. Mixing and matching pieces between different raids won’t trigger these bonuses — you need pieces from the same set.
Destiny 2 Raid Loot Tables – All Active Raids
Last Wish Loot Table

Release: September 2018 | Exotic: One Thousand Voices (Fusion Rifle) | Origin Trait: Taken Predator
Last Wish is the oldest active raid in Destiny 2. Unlike most raids, its weapons drop from any encounter rather than specific ones. This makes farming simpler — every run has a chance at any weapon in the pool.
- Age-Old Bond – Auto Rifle | Void | Energy
- Apex Predator – Rocket Launcher | Solar | Heavy
- Chattering Bone – Pulse Rifle | Kinetic | Primary
- Nation of Beasts – Hand Cannon | Arc | Energy
- Techeun Force – Fusion Rifle | Arc | Special
- The Supremacy – Sniper Rifle | Kinetic | Special
- Transfiguration – Scout Rifle | Kinetic | Primary
- Tyranny of Heaven – Combat Bow | Solar | Energy
- One Thousand Voices – Exotic Fusion Rifle | Solar | Heavy (drops from Riven of a Thousand Voices)
Armor set bonuses (Great Hunt): 2-piece grants Taken Barrier — grenade final blows reduce incoming damage. 4-piece grants Taken Armaments — grenade final blows grant additional Heavy ammo progress.
Last Wish is available as part of the Forsaken Pack. To unlock One Thousand Voices, you need to defeat Riven and then loot the hidden chest at the end using the Wishing Wall wishes.
Garden of Salvation Loot Table

Release: October 2019 | Exotic: Divinity (Trace Rifle) | Origin Trait: Vex Mind
Garden of Salvation has 4 encounters, each with a dedicated loot pool. Divinity is not a random drop — it requires completing a multi-step quest that culminates inside the raid itself.
- Encounter 1 (Evade): Accrued Redemption (Combat Bow), Zealot’s Reward (Fusion Rifle), Greaves of Ascendancy
- Encounter 2 (Summon): Reckless Oracle (Auto Rifle), Prophet of Doom (Shotgun), Gauntlets of Exaltation
- Encounter 3 (Consecrated Mind): Ancient Gospel (Hand Cannon), Sacred Provenance (Pulse Rifle), Plate of Transcendence
- Encounter 4 (Sanctified Mind): Omniscient Eye (Sniper Rifle), Helm of Righteousness, Temptation’s Mark (Class Item)
Armor set bonuses (Righteousness): 2-piece grants Network Admin — being near allies improves handling, reload speed, and Health stat. 4-piece grants Network Upload — final blows grant you and nearby allies melee energy.
Deep Stone Crypt Loot Table

Release: November 2020 | Exotic: Eyes of Tomorrow (Rocket Launcher) | Origin Trait: Bray Inheritance
Deep Stone Crypt is set on Europa and has 4 encounters. Its weapons are split more unevenly across encounters than most raids — some weapons only drop from one fight.
- Encounter 1 (Crypt Security): Trustee (Scout Rifle)
- Encounter 2 (Atraks-1): Heritage (Shotgun), Succession (Sniper Rifle)
- Encounter 3 (Rapture): Posterity (Hand Cannon)
- Encounter 4 (Taniks): Bequest (Sword), Commemoration (Machine Gun), Eyes of Tomorrow (Exotic, random drop)
All DSC weapons are craftable. You’ll need red-border versions to unlock the patterns at the Enclave. Arms and Legs armor can drop from Encounters 1 and 2; Helmet and Chest from Encounters 2 and 3; Class Item from any encounter.

Vow of the Disciple Loot Table

Release: March 2022 | Exotic: Collective Obligation (Pulse Rifle) | Origin Trait: Souldrinker
Vow of the Disciple is set inside a Pyramid Ship in Savathûn’s Throne World. It has 4 encounters. If you’ve played Sundered Doctrine dungeon, you’ll recognize the symbol system used here — the dungeon pulls directly from Vow mechanics.

- Encounter 2 (Collection): Submission (Submachine Gun), Deliverance (Fusion Rifle)
- Encounter 3 (Exhibition): Forbearance (Grenade Launcher), Insidious (Pulse Rifle)

King’s Fall Loot Table

Release: August 2022 (reprised) | Exotic: Touch of Malice (Scout Rifle) | Origin Trait: Runneth Over
King’s Fall is the reprised Destiny 1 Dreadnaught raid. It’s one of the longer raids with 6 encounters. Touch of Malice drops from Oryx with a random chance.
- Encounter 1 (Totems): Doom of Chelchis (Scout Rifle)
- Encounter 2 (Warpriest): Zaouli’s Bane (Hand Cannon)
- Encounter 3 (Golgoroth): Midha’s Reckoning (Fusion Rifle)
- Encounter 4 (Daughters): Smite of Merain (Pulse Rifle), Defiance of Yasmin (Sniper Rifle)
- Encounter 5 (Oryx): Oversoul Edict (Auto Rifle), Touch of Malice (Exotic)
King’s Fall requires the Forsaken Pack or Kings Fall Dungeon Key equivalent to access. It’s one of the most mechanically demanding older raids still in rotation.
Root of Nightmares Loot Table

Release: March 2023 | Exotic: Conditional Finality (Shotgun) | Origin Trait: Harmonic Resonance
Root of Nightmares is a shorter 4-encounter raid set on Neomuna. It connects to The Witness’s arrival and is considered one of the more accessible raids for newer players.
- Encounter 1 (Cataclysm): Briar’s Contempt (Linear Fusion Rifle), Koraxis’ Distress (Grenade Launcher), Nessa’s Oblation (Shotgun)
- Encounter 2 (Scission): Mykel’s Reverence (Sword), Rufus’s Fury (Auto Rifle)
- Encounter 3 (Macrocosm): Briar’s Contempt, Nessa’s Oblation (reprised drops)
- Encounter 4 (Nezarec): Conditional Finality (Exotic), all weapons eligible
Conditional Finality is a stasis-solar shotgun that can freeze and ignite targets on the same shot. It remains one of the strongest raid Exotics for endgame PvE in 2026.
Crota’s End Loot Table

Release: September 2023 (reprised) | Exotic: Necrochasm (Auto Rifle) | Origin Trait: Cursed Thrall
Crota’s End is the reprised Destiny 1 Moon raid. It has 4 encounters and is one of the shorter raids overall. Necrochasm can drop from the Crota encounter.
- Encounter 1 (Abyss): Abyss Defiant (Auto Rifle)
- Encounter 2 (Bridge): Swordbreaker (Shotgun), Word of Crota (Hand Cannon)
- Encounter 3 (Ir Yût): Song of Ir Yût (Machine Gun), Fang of Ir Yût (Scout Rifle)
- Encounter 4 (Crota): Light of the Abyss (Fusion Rifle), Necrochasm (Exotic)
Armor set bonuses (Power of the Son): 2-piece grants Cursed Fist — melee final blows trigger a Cursed Thrall explosion. 4-piece means being in combat grants progressively more flinch and damage resistance.
Salvation’s Edge Loot Table

Release: June 2024 | Exotic: Euphony (Linear Fusion Rifle) | Origin Trait: Collective Purpose
Salvation’s Edge is the raid finale of the Light and Dark saga. It has 5 encounters and holds the record for the longest World’s First race in Destiny history. Euphony is tied to a quest from Ikora Rey — it’s not a random drop. The quest is called Echoes of Harmony and becomes available after completing the raid.
- Encounter 1 (Substratum): Nullify (Pulse Rifle), Harsh Language (Shotgun)
- Encounter 2 (Herald of Finality): Nullify, Imminence (Sniper Rifle)
- Encounter 3 (Repository): Riven’s Curse (Grenade Launcher), Imminence
- Encounter 4 (Verity): Riven’s Curse, Microcosm (Heavy Trace Rifle)
- Encounter 5 (The Witness): All 6 weapons eligible, Euphony (Exotic via quest)
All Salvation’s Edge weapons drop from at least two encounters, which helps with farming. The Collective Purpose Origin Trait boosts range and handling near allies, with a faster charge rate on bows. This is one of the most useful raid Origin Traits for fireteam-focused builds. You must own The Final Shape expansion to access this raid.
The Desert Perpetual Loot Table

Release: July 19, 2025 | Exotic: Whirling Ovation (Rocket Launcher) | Origin Trait: Frame of Reference
The Desert Perpetual is Destiny 2’s newest standard raid, released with the Edge of Fate expansion. It’s unique in being non-linear — the first three encounters can be completed in any order. You pick your path from the opening hub. After all three are cleared, the final boss unlocks.
Bosses: Epoptes (Hydra), Iatros (Wyvern), Agraios (Hobgoblin), and Koregos the Worldline (final boss, giant Vex Harpy).
- Epoptes: Opaque Hourglass (Arc Combat Bow)
- Iatros: Finite Maybe (Solar Fusion Rifle), The When and Where (Stasis Rocket Launcher)
- Agraios: Antedate (Arc SMG), Lance Ephemeral (Strand SMG), Intercalary (Stasis Auto Rifle)
- Koregos (Final Boss): Whirling Ovation (Exotic Rocket Launcher)
The Frame of Reference Origin Trait grants increased damage, reload speed, and range on final blows. The bonus is frozen in time while the weapon is stowed, so it carries over when you swap back.
Whirling Ovation is the raid Exotic. To increase its drop chance, complete raid Triumphs — including Feature Presentation (all feats active) and Death-Defiant (flawless run). You need to own the Edge of Fate expansion and complete its campaign to access this raid.
The Desert Perpetual Epic Loot Table
Release: September 27, 2025 | Exclusive Weapons: 3 new Legendaries + Whirling Ovation Exotic Catalyst
The Desert Perpetual Epic is Destiny 2’s first-ever Epic Raid difficulty. It launched with the Ash & Iron update and introduces updated encounter mechanics on top of the standard raid. It has its own exclusive loot on top of the full standard Desert Perpetual pool.
Epic-exclusive weapons:
- The Ever-Present – Strand Grenade Launcher
- Starscape Null – Solar Shotgun
- Third weapon (name TBC at time of writing)
The Epic Raid also drops the Whirling Ovation Exotic Catalyst, which is otherwise unobtainable. All 6 standard Desert Perpetual Legendary weapons and the base Whirling Ovation can also drop in Epic difficulty.
Epic Raid armor set bonuses (Accretion / Doppler Effect): 2-piece grants Accretion — picking up an ammo brick gives stacking bonuses to weapon swap and stow speeds until death. 4-piece grants Doppler Effect — Suspend, Unravel, and Sever effects on enemies have increased duration, as do Radiant and Restoration effects on yourself.
Destiny 2 Raid Loot – How to Farm Efficiently
The checkpoint exploit is the most efficient farming method in 2026. Run the raid on your first character until you reach the encounter you want. Start it, wipe, and have your fireteam hold. Switch to a second character and rejoin — that character now holds the checkpoint. You can then loop that encounter as many times as you want within the week by alternating characters.
For Spoils of Conquest farming, the easiest method is running any raid from the beginning. Every encounter completion gives Spoils, regardless of the raid. Older raids like Root of Nightmares are faster to clear and give the same Spoils, making them efficient for stocking up before spending in newer raids.
Master difficulty is worth running if you’re chasing Adept weapons. Adept raid weapons accept Adept mods and can be upgraded through the Relic like crafted weapons, which makes them competitive with god-rolled crafted options. See our guide to upgrading crafted weapons to Tier 5 for comparison.
Destiny 2 Raid Exotics – Full List
- One Thousand Voices – Solar Fusion Rifle – Last Wish
- Divinity – Arc Trace Rifle – Garden of Salvation (quest, not a drop)
- Eyes of Tomorrow – Solar Rocket Launcher – Deep Stone Crypt
- Vex Mythoclast – Solar Fusion Rifle – Vault of Glass
- Collective Obligation – Void Pulse Rifle – Vow of the Disciple
- Touch of Malice – Kinetic Scout Rifle – King’s Fall

- Necrochasm – Arc Auto Rifle – Crota’s End
- Euphony – Strand Linear Fusion Rifle – Salvation’s Edge (quest)
- Whirling Ovation – Void Rocket Launcher – The Desert Perpetual
Two raid Exotics — Divinity and Euphony — aren’t random drops. They require dedicated quests picked up after completing their respective raids. If you’re chasing these, plan an extra visit to Ikora Rey after your first clear. For related Exotic content, see our guide to Exotic Orders and the full Oblation Bloodline Exotic Mission guide.
Which Destiny 2 Raid Has the Best Loot in 2026?
For raw weapon usefulness, Root of Nightmares and Salvation’s Edge have the strongest current meta options. Conditional Finality from Root of Nightmares still holds up as a top-tier PvE shotgun. Euphony from Salvation’s Edge is the best Strand DPS option in the game for fireteam-coordinated content.
For new players, Garden of Salvation and Crota’s End are the most accessible starting points. Both have simpler mechanics than the newer raids, and their loot pools include weapons with strong reroll potential.
The Desert Perpetual has the freshest loot in 2026 and is the raid you’ll want to farm if you’re focused on current endgame viability. Its Frame of Reference Origin Trait scales well with coordinated fireteam play.
See our Destiny 2 dungeons in order guide if you’re also looking to cover the dungeon loot pools alongside raids. And if you’re chasing the Immortal Title from Monument of Triumph, several Triumphs require raid clears — so knowing which encounters to target-farm matters.
