What Is Horizon Promo in Forza Horizon 6?

The EventLab Share Code Method – How It Works

A Reddit user named u/Riko0Ku created EventLab races featuring all cars in Forza Horizon 6. Players only need to enter the relevant Share Code in EventLab, start the race, and switch to Photo Mode immediately after the start. The cars on the starting grid can then be photographed directly, allowing several vehicles to be added to Horizon Promo within seconds.

The way it works: you go to the EventLab section of the menu, use the Share Codes to enter a race, snap photos of every car in the race, exit the race, then go into the next race and repeat. You do not even need to input each Share Code repeatedly — you can favourite the creator in FH6 to access the entire list easily.

How to Use Share Codes in EventLab – Step by Step

Follow these steps to access the EventLab Share Code races:

1. Open the main menu and go to Creative Hub.
2. Select EventLab, then Play Event.
3. Press the Search button at the bottom of the screen.
4. Select Share Code from the search options and enter one of the codes from the list below.
5. Choose Solo for the race mode.
6. When choosing your car, pick the vehicle with the highest Performance Index in that class. This encourages the AI to choose a wide variety of different models on the grid.

What Cars Cannot Be Photographed This Way

The EventLab method does not cover everything. Riko0Ku’s EventLab races cover almost all the cars in the base game, but there are some categories that cannot be controlled. Cars the AI will not use in EventLab include Barn Finds, story cars linked to progression, DLC cars from add-ons, and pre-order or promotional cars.

For these, you have a few options:

• Barn Finds — unlock them through normal exploration. See the Barn Find Locations guide for every spot.
• Forza Edition cars — earned through specific progression or Wheelspins. The Forza Edition Cars guide explains how to get each one.
• Treasure Cars — found through in-game clue hunts. Guides for each one are linked at the bottom of this page.
• DLC and promotional cars — if you do not own them, watch for them in free-roam multiplayer or check if other players are showing them off. Some appear as prizes in Festival Playlists where you can photograph them even without owning them.
• Wheelspins — some rare models only come from Wheelspins and Super Wheelspins. Farm those separately to fill the remaining gaps.

Tips to Photograph Cars Faster

Zoom out in Photo Mode. Set the camera to a wide angle before you start so more of the grid fits in one frame. You can capture several cars with a single shot instead of repositioning every time.

Disable the watermark. Turn off HUD watermarks and unnecessary interface elements in Photo Mode settings so nothing obscures the cars in your shot.

Take photos at race starts, not just in EventLab. Every time you line up for a normal race, the starting grid is packed with cars. Open Photo Mode before the countdown and sweep across the field. This stacks free Promo progress on top of your regular racing without adding any time.

Check what you still need. Open the game menu, go to Festival Wristbands, scroll to the Horizon Promo box, and press Y to sort your list so incomplete cars show at the top. A small camera icon on the map also marks cars nearby that you have not yet photographed.

Buy, photograph, and sell. For cheap cars you are missing, buy them from the Auction House or Autoshow, snap a photo in your garage, and sell them back. Many budget models cost almost nothing. For rarer cars, check if they come up at the Auction House at a lower price than the Autoshow.

Photograph cars during Photo Mode challenges. Any time you complete a photo challenge like the AstroToy Photo Challenge or the Tokyo City Treasure Hunt, take an extra moment to photograph any nearby cars you have not captured yet.

At 10 Festival Points per car across a 619-car roster, Horizon Promo is one of the most efficient ways to push your Wristband total. The points stack alongside everything else you earn from races, PR Stunts, and XP boards.
