Forza Horizon 6 Achievement Overview

Forza Horizon 6 launches with 57 achievements worth exactly 1,000 Gamerscore. They are available on Xbox Series X|S and PC (Microsoft Store, Xbox App, and Steam). The PlayStation 5 version, arriving later in 2026, will have 58 trophies — the same 57 plus a Platinum.

The achievement list covers four main areas: Wristband progression through the Horizon Festival, Stamp collection through Discover Japan, collectibles across Japan’s map, and a set of multiplayer and miscellaneous tasks. Most achievements unlock naturally as you play. The ones that require dedicated effort are clearly identified in this guide so you can plan around them early.

There are no missable achievements. Every task remains available after the story ends, and nothing is gated to a one-time story moment you could accidentally skip. Difficulty has no effect on any achievement — you can play on the easiest Tourist setting with Autodrive enabled, which lets the AI drive and win races for you automatically.

Achievement Roadmap: Step-by-Step to 1,000G

Follow this order for the most efficient run. Steps overlap heavily — doing them in parallel is always faster than finishing one completely before starting the next.

Step 1: Horizon Festival Gold Wristband and 57 Race Wins

The main campaign goal is earning the Gold Wristband across all seven tiers: Yellow, Green, Blue, Pink, Orange, Purple, and Gold. Each tier unlocks its own achievement. When scrolling the world map, look for events marked “Horizon Festival” and complete these to build your Festival Points bar. Once the bar fills, a Wristband Event appears — complete it to advance.

At the same time, work toward Racing Aficionado by winning 57 Horizon Festival Race Events. Play on Tourist difficulty if you want guaranteed wins. PR Stunts also contribute Festival Points and give a Discover Japan boost simultaneously — attempt each one but do not waste time chasing three stars on difficult ones. Step 2: Discover Japan Gold Stamp and Collectibles

Run the Discover Japan path in parallel with your festival races. The fastest sources for Discover Japan Points are Touge Battles, Street Races, Story Events, buying Player Houses, and smashing Regional Mascots. Aim to clean up collectible achievements during this step since the map should be largely revealed by now, making fast travel between them easy.

Step 3: All 81 Stars in Story Events

Story Events are the yellow badge icons on the map. You need three stars in every individual story race for the Storyteller achievement — 81 stars total across all 27 story races. This is one of the two hardest achievements and requires solid driving. Combine this step with your Discover Japan progress since Story Events are one of the best Stamp point sources. If you are struggling, lower the difficulty and retry events until you hit three stars.

Step 4: Maximum Job Promotion

For The Boss, reach the maximum Level 9 promotion at the Tokyo City Food Delivery job. Go to the blue “Tokyo City Food Delivery” icon in central Tokyo and keep completing deliveries. Your level is tracked by total credits earned from deliveries, not the number of runs. Check your current level by hovering over the map icon or going to Campaign → Collection Journal → Discover Japan → Tokyo City Food Delivery.

Step 5: Miscellaneous Cleanup

Most miscellaneous achievements unlock naturally during Steps 1 through 4. After those are done, check your remaining list and clean up anything outstanding. By this point you will have access to all game content, so nothing is blocked.

Step 6: Horizon Play — Online Achievements

Save the online grind for last. There are 7 online achievements total. The quick ones are easily knocked out in a session or two. Maxed Out — reaching Level 100 in Horizon Play — is the single most time-consuming achievement in the game and can take hundreds of hours. Winning earns more XP than losing, so play seriously in Spec Racing and Touge Showdown to accelerate the climb. • Welcome to Japan — 10G — Complete The Opening Act.
• First of Many — 10G — Complete your first Qualifier.
• Working 9 to 5 — 10G — Complete your first Job (one Food Delivery in Tokyo City).
• The Boss — 20G — Reach the maximum promotion (Level 9) at a Job. Keep running Food Delivery missions until your total earnings hit the Level 9 threshold.

Horizon Festival Wristband Achievements

Each of the seven Wristband tiers has its own achievement. They unlock automatically when you complete the corresponding Wristband Event. Exploration and Map Achievements

• The Horizon Cartographer — 50G — Reveal the entire Japan map. Use Autodrive in free roam to unfog the map automatically while you do other things. You can fast travel to any road section you have already discovered to speed this up. One of only three 50G achievements in the game.
• Racking Up the Miles — 20G — Discover all 10 regions of Japan. Unlocks naturally through normal play and exploration. Our Japan map guide covering all regions and landmarks is useful here.
• Tokyo Resident — 20G — Complete all 33 activities in the Tokyo City region. Tokyo is the game’s largest urban area with the most packed activity density on the map.
• Pin It! — 10G — Discover 10 landmarks across Japan. Landmarks are named locations shown on the map. They unlock as you drive near them.
• Crowd Pleaser — 20G — Earn 36 stars from PR Stunts in the Ohtani region. Spread your stunt attempts across multiple types — Speed Traps, Drift Zones, and Danger Signs all count. Our Ohtani region guide covers the area in detail.
• To the Moon — 10G — Earn at least one star at the Irokawa Launch Danger Sign. Any star count qualifies — just one attempt is enough.

Collectible Achievements

• Smashscot — 10G — Smash your first Regional Mascot. These are small statues scattered across all regions. Drive over any one to unlock this.
• Gotta Smash ‘Em All — 30G — Smash all 200 Regional Mascots. A significant collectible grind. Use a map filter to track which ones remain once the map is fully revealed.
• A Few Splinters Is Nothing! — 30G — Smash all 200 Bonus Boards. These are the orange and blue boards visible on roads and buildings across Japan. Also contribute Festival Points when smashed.
• A Fine Addition to My Collection — 10G — Find and claim your first Treasure Car. Treasure Cars are abandoned vehicles in the open world, found using photo clues. • Treasure Hunter — 30G — Find and claim all 9 Treasure Cars. All nine locations are required for this achievement.

Car and Garage Achievements

• First Love — 10G — Purchase your first car from the Autoshow. Unlocks after your first Wristband.
• Bargain Hunt — 10G — Purchase your first Aftermarket car. Aftermarket cars appear on the road with a green icon — they are pre-owned vehicles often cheaper than the Autoshow.

• Show Me What You’ve Got! — 10G — Display three cars in your garage at the same time. Requires a Player House with at least three Display Car Locator slots.
• A Whole New World — 10G — Drive any R-Class car for the first time. R-Class vehicles become available at the later Wristband tiers and are central to Legend Island events and the Goliath race.

Property and Social Achievements

• Blank Slate — 10G — Purchase the Yashiki Player House. Costs only 10,000 CR and is the first house most players should buy. It unlocks The Estate building feature. Our all houses locations and perks guide covers every property.
• What Are You Doing In My Estate? — 10G — Visit another player’s Estate. Simply drive into any other player’s Estate marker in the open world. Can be done quickly in a public lobby or with a friend.
• Parking All Over the World — 10G — Park at three different Car Meets. Car Meets are gathering points on the map, including the iconic Daikoku in Tokyo City and Okuibuki Parking Lot in the alpine regions.
• Dedicated Tourist — 10G — Earn three stars in any Day Trip Story Chapter. Join Mei on one of her guided Day Tours and complete any chapter with a three-star rating.

Multiplayer and Online Achievements

• Four Swords — 10G — Perform your first LINK Skill. Join any public session, drive near another player, and execute a skill like drifting or a near-miss at the same time. LINK Skills trigger automatically when both players perform the same skill together.
• Ready to Rumble — 10G — Earn 10 Horizon Play levels. Jump into any online mode under Horizon Play and play a few sessions. Ten levels comes quickly.
• Maxed Out — 30G — Earn all 100 Horizon Play levels. This is the single most time-consuming achievement in the game. Leveling follows an exponential XP curve that makes the upper ranks extremely demanding. Winning earns more XP than losing, so play to win consistently in Spec Racing for the most efficient grind. Expect this to take hundreds of hours of online play.
• Even Playing Field — 10G — Complete a Spec Racing Championship Race event. Simply enter and finish one Spec Racing event — no win required.
• Historic Effort — 30G — Earn a Series History reward. Play through a full Festival Playlist Series and claim your reward from the Series History section at the end.
• Played-List — 30G — Earn all Festival Playlist Points during a season. Requires completing enough seasonal content during a single Festival Playlist Series to max out the points. Hardest Achievements in Forza Horizon 6

Maxed Out (30G) — Level 100 in Horizon Play

This is the longest achievement in FH6 by a significant margin. Unlike Forza Horizon 5 where the equivalent took around 5 to 10 hours, FH6 uses an exponential XP curve that makes it a true long-term grind. The only way to earn progress is through online Horizon Play modes. Winning earns significantly more XP than finishing lower, so playing competitively in Spec Racing is the fastest consistent method. Expect several hundred hours minimum. Do everything else first and treat this as an ongoing background goal.

Storyteller (10G) — 81 Stars from Story Events

This requires three stars in all 27 individual story races marked with yellow badge icons on the map. The game provides loaner cars for these events, so you do not need to own specific vehicles. The challenge is simply performing well enough for three stars in each one. Lower the difficulty if you are struggling — Tourist difficulty still counts. Retry any races you three-starred as needed since the events are all replayable.

The Horizon Cartographer (50G) — Reveal the Entire Map

Japan is the biggest Forza Horizon map ever made. Revealing the full map requires driving or using Autodrive across every road section. The most efficient approach is to enable Autodrive and let the AI drive along road networks systematically. You can fast travel to any road you have already discovered, so use this to jump between unexplored sections rather than driving the entire map linearly.

Gotta Smash ‘Em All (30G) — 200 Regional Mascots

There are 200 Regional Mascot statues across Japan’s map. None require any skill — just driving over each one. The challenge is locating them all. Use the map filter system to display mascot icons once you have revealed enough of the map, then sweep each region systematically. Smashing mascots also earns 5,000 CR each and contributes Discover Japan Points, making them worth hunting even before you are chasing the achievement.

Played-List (30G) — All Festival Playlist Points in a Season

This requires completing enough content within a single Festival Playlist Series to earn every available point. Each series runs for a fixed time, so you need to complete seasonal races, PR challenges, and other series-specific events consistently across the active season. Check in weekly to stay on track. Easy Achievements to Grab in the First Hour

Several achievements unlock within the first hour of play without any deliberate effort. These include Welcome to Japan (complete the opening act), First of Many (your first qualifier race), Welcome to Horizon (earn the Yellow Wristband), Stamping Ground (earn the Yellow Stamp), Working 9 to 5 (one food delivery), Just Getting Started (your first Touge Battle), On the Board (win your first race), Smashscot (hit your first mascot), and Carkour! (your first Horizon Rush event). Together these represent 80 Gamerscore you can collect simply by following the game’s tutorial flow.

PS5 Trophy Differences

When Forza Horizon 6 launches on PlayStation 5 later in 2026, the trophy list will have 58 entries — the same 57 achievements converted directly to PS5 trophies, plus a Platinum trophy awarded for unlocking all others. Useful Tips for Achievement Hunters

• Use Autodrive on Tourist difficulty for race wins and map exploration. The AI drives and wins automatically, removing skill as a barrier for most achievements.
• Stack activities: smash mascots on the way between events, photograph landmarks mid-drive, and complete Touge races near Street Races. Chaining activities cuts total time significantly.
• Unfog the map early using Autodrive. Once the whole map is revealed, fast travel makes collectible hunting fast and clean.
• Do not chase three-star PR Stunts obsessively. There are more than required for the Gold Wristband. Attempt each once and move on unless you get three stars naturally.
• Check the Collection Journal regularly for milestone credit payouts under Campaign → Collection Journal. These stack up unnoticed and give useful bonus credits for car purchases.
• Start Horizon Play early. The first 25 levels grant Wristband Festival Points, making early online sessions doubly productive. Do not leave Maxed Out entirely for the end — drip-feed online sessions throughout your playthrough.
• Barn Finds give free cars toward the Collector achievement. See our Barn Find locations guide to add 15 cars to your garage without spending credits.
