Two fresh reward cars are up for grabs, the Treasure Hunt returns, and there are three named championships with their own bonus prizes. Do not sleep on this week.

Forza Horizon 6 Spring Festival Playlist – Seasonal Reward Cars

Two cars are available as Spring seasonal rewards. Both are exclusive to this week, so missing them means waiting for a future series rotation or hunting them on the Auction House.

  • 1996 Toyota Starlet Glanza V — Earn 20 points during the Spring season
  • 1974 Toyota Corolla SR5 — Earn 40 points during the Spring season

The 1996 Toyota Starlet Glanza V is making its Forza debut in FH6. This is a brand-new model built specifically for the game. The Glanza V is powered by a 1.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, uses front-wheel drive, and is one of the most iconic pocket-rocket hot hatches from Japan’s 90s JDM scene. Front-wheel drive means it is not ideal for drifting, but it should shine in road and circuit racing when tuned correctly. For JDM fans, this is the standout new addition of the entire series.

The 1974 Toyota Corolla SR5 returns to the franchise after being absent since Forza Horizon 4. It is a lightweight classic built around a 1.6-litre twin-cam engine that delivered performance well above its class in period. Hitting 40 points to earn it requires a full week of consistent play, but it is absolutely achievable. For more classic JDM content, check out our guides on the best starter cars to buy first and our full FH6 car list by class.

Spring Season Bonus Cars – Championships and Events

On top of the two seasonal reward cars, the Spring playlist includes several named events that award bonus cars on completion. These are separate from the seasonal point thresholds, so you can earn them regardless of whether you hit 20 or 40 points.

Instant Classic Championship – 2004 Maserati MC12

Complete the Instant Classic championship during the Spring season to earn the 2004 Maserati MC12. This is one of the rarest and most sought-after bonus cars in all of Series 1. The MC12 is an Italian mid-engine grand tourer built on the chassis of the Ferrari Enzo, and it is an absolute weapon on the road. Winning the championship is the only way to get it this series, so prioritise this one if the MC12 is on your hit list.

Spring into Action Championship – 2021 MINI John Cooper Works GP

Win the Spring into Action championship to earn the 2021 MINI John Cooper Works GP. The JCW GP is the most extreme road-going MINI ever made. It has stripped-out suspension geometry, a widened stance, and a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine pushing 306 hp. It is lightweight, aggressive, and a lot of fun in tight circuit racing.

Spec-tacular Driving! Horizon Play Challenge – 2017 Saleen S7 LM

Complete the Spec-tacular Driving! Horizon Play challenge during the Spring season to earn the 2017 Saleen S7 LM. The Saleen S7 LM is the ultimate evolution of Steve Saleen’s American supercar, tuned for Le Mans competition and producing over 1,000 hp. This is the rarest of the Spring bonus cars and rewards online play, so get into Horizon Play events early in the week to make sure you have time to complete this challenge.

How Many Points Are Available in Spring?

The Spring season of Series 1 has 45 total points available. The full series has 180 points across all four seasons. Spring offers enough to comfortably reach both reward car thresholds of 20 and 40 points in a single week of regular play.

Points come from the following sources:

  • Seasonal Championships (3 events) — 5 points each, 15 points total
  • Weekly Challenge — 5 points on completion
  • Daily Challenges (7 challenges) — 1 point each, 7 points total
  • Treasure Hunt — 3 points plus 100,000 Credits
  • Photo Challenge — 2 points
  • PR Stunts (Speed Trap, Speed Zone, Danger Sign, Trailblazer) — 2–3 points each
  • Monthly Rivals — points for posting a lap time
  • Online events (Horizon Play, Hide and Seek) — bonus points for participation

To reach 20 points quickly, do the Photo Challenge first, then the Treasure Hunt, then the Weekly Challenge, and run two Seasonal Championships. That gets you past the first threshold with minimal time investment. For 40 points, run all three championships, knock out your daily challenges over the week, and mop up the remaining PR Stunts.

Spring Seasonal Events – What to Expect

Seasonal Championships

Spring has three Seasonal Championships as usual. These are multi-race events with specific car class or manufacturer restrictions. Winning first place in the three-race series earns you points and the championship bonus car. You can run them solo against AI Drivatars or in co-op with friends.

Always check the car class restriction before entering. Showing up with the wrong vehicle wastes a full run. For the best car picks for each class, see our best cars for every class guide and the best R Class cars guide.

Weekly Challenge

Like every season, the Weekly Challenge this week is built around a specific featured car. You must complete four chapters in order using that car. Each chapter unlocks the next. Finishing all four rewards 5 Festival Points and a credit bonus. The car is typically a JDM icon that fits the Welcome to Japan theme, similar to the GR86 in Summer and the Silvia K’s in Autumn.

To unlock perks on your Weekly Challenge car while you work through it, check our Car Mastery and Skill Trees guide.

Treasure Hunt

The Treasure Hunt returns in Spring after being replaced by the Collectibles challenge in Winter. In Winter, players were tasked with smashing vending machines around Japan. Spring brings back the classic format — follow the photo clue to a specific region, find the hidden chest, and smash it to claim 3 points and 100,000 Credits.

If you are unsure where the clue points, buying the Treasure Map from the Autoshow shows the chest location directly on your map. It costs a small amount of credits and saves a lot of time. For a look at how previous hunts worked, see our Minamino Region Treasure Hunt guide and the Ohtani Region Treasure Hunt guide.

Photo Challenge

Each season includes one Photo Challenge worth 2 points. Use Horizon Promo mode, drive to the marked location, and take a photo. It is one of the fastest 2 points you can earn all week. Do it as soon as the season opens — it takes under two minutes. Check our Photo Mode guide and best locations for tips on finding the right spot quickly.

Daily Challenges

Seven daily challenges unlock at 14:30 UTC each day across the week. Each gives 1 point and 5,000 Credits. You do not need to complete them on the day they unlock — they stay active for the full week, so you can stack all seven in one sitting if you prefer. Do not ignore these. Seven free points is a meaningful boost toward both reward car thresholds.

Monthly Rivals

The Monthly Rivals event on the featured circuit is still active during Spring. Simply post a clean lap time to earn your playlist points. You do not need to beat anyone, and it counts toward your Spring season total and your overall Series 1 total simultaneously.

Online Events – Hide and Seek and Horizon Play

Hide and Seek and Horizon Play challenges are available this season. Hide and Seek is a multiplayer open-world game where one driver hides while others search using a radar. Just completing a full game counts toward your point total. Horizon Play events like the Spec-tacular Driving! challenge are the only way to earn the Saleen S7 LM, so make sure to join one early in the week.

For a full breakdown of how Hide and Seek works and strategies for both sides, see our Hide and Seek guide.

Series 1 Full Rewards – Final Look at All Cars

Here is the complete Series 1: Welcome to Japan reward overview so you can see where you stand heading into the final week:

  • Summer (May 21–28): 1999 Toyota Altezza RS200 Z Edition (20 PTS), 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR (40 PTS)
  • Autumn (May 28–June 4): 1997 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (20 PTS), 1991 Honda CR-X SiR (40 PTS)
  • Winter (June 4–11): 2019 Subaru STI S209 (20 PTS), 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Trucks AT37 (40 PTS)
  • Spring (June 11–18): 1996 Toyota Starlet Glanza V (20 PTS), 1974 Toyota Corolla SR5 (40 PTS)
  • Series-wide at 60 PTS: 2008 Mazda Furai
  • Series-wide at 120 PTS: 2010 Nissan 370Z

This Is Your Last Chance for the Mazda Furai and Nissan 370Z

Spring is the final week of Series 1. Every point you earn this week adds to your cumulative series total. If you have not yet reached the 60-point threshold for the 2008 Mazda Furai or the 120-point threshold for the 2010 Nissan 370Z, this is your absolute last chance.

The 2008 Mazda Furai is powered by a modified 450 hp 20B three-rotor Wankel engine running on ethanol. The Furai makes its Forza Horizon debut here after appearing in Forza Motorsport. It is the headline prize of Series 1 and one of the most beautiful concept cars ever built. At 60 total series points, it is very achievable if you have been playing each week. Even if you missed Summer entirely, grinding hard across Autumn, Winter, and Spring can still get you there.

The 2010 Nissan 370Z sits at 120 total series points — roughly two-thirds of all points available in Series 1. If you have been consistent, you likely already have this locked up. If you are still short, push as hard as possible this final week. After June 18, both cars leave the active playlist pool. They may return later through Series History Rewards or the Auction House, but there is no guarantee of when. Earn them now.

What Else Arrives on June 11?

The Spring season brings one more notable item. The 1972 Datsun #269 Attacking the Clock Racing 240Z ‘All Carbon Hillclimb Beast’ becomes available on June 11, 2026. This purpose-built hillclimb machine is a special variant of the legendary Datsun 240Z, stripped and tuned for competition. Keep an eye on the playlist and Autoshow for how to acquire it when it goes live.

For an idea of how the 240Z fits into the wider FH6 car lineup, see our best cars guide by class.

What Happens After Spring Ends?

When Spring closes on June 18, Series 1: Welcome to Japan ends permanently. Any remaining Series 1 seasonal cars you missed will exit the active Playlist. However, FH6 introduced Series History Rewards, a new system that lets you earn cars from past series by accumulating total Playlist Points across future months. Missed cars may also appear in the Auction House from other players, or cycle back through Aftermarket Car spots on the map.

Series 2: Horizon Decades launches immediately after Series 1 ends on June 18. It brings a whole new theme, new cars, new championships, and a fresh set of series-wide reward targets. For more on what the future holds, check our complete Seasonal Events and Festival Playlist guide.

Quick Tips for the Spring Playlist

  • Start with the Photo Challenge. It is the easiest 2 points in the week. Do it immediately after the season opens.
  • Do the Treasure Hunt early. It gives 3 points and 100,000 Credits. There is no reason to leave it until the last day.
  • Prioritise the Spec-tacular Driving! Horizon Play challenge. The Saleen S7 LM is a rare car. Get it done mid-week so you are not scrambling on the final day.
  • Run all three championships. Each gives 5 points and a bonus car. These are the most efficient playlist activities in the game.
  • Stack your dailies. You do not need to log in every day. You can complete all seven in one session on the last day if needed.
  • Check your series total. If you are close to 60 or 120 points, push hard on everything. The Furai and 370Z expire with this series.
  • Do not mix up seasonal and series points. The 20 and 40-point thresholds for the Starlet and Corolla require points earned specifically during Spring. Series-wide totals from other weeks do not count toward them.

Forza Horizon 6 Series 1 Spring Playlist – Final Summary

Spring is the final week of Series 1: Welcome to Japan, and it is packed. Two seasonal reward cars, three named championships with bonus prizes, the return of the Treasure Hunt, and a Horizon Play challenge with the Saleen S7 LM all make this the busiest week of the series. On top of that, June 18 marks the end of all Series 1 content, including your last shot at the Mazda Furai and the Nissan 370Z.

Play the whole week. Clear your dailies. Do not miss the Photo Challenge and Treasure Hunt. Win the championships. And if you are still short on series points, push as hard as you can before the reset.
