Precious & Luxurious Chest Locations In Everfrozen Earth
The Everfrozen Earth section covers the main Snezhnaya landmass around Morepesok and the surrounding area. There are multiple sub-locations with high-rarity chests here.
South of Morepesok – Legendary Thief Treasure Area
Teleport to the waypoint south of Morepesok in Everfrozen Earth, then move northeast to locate the Legendary Thief Treasure after completing the Disputes without Honor and Humanity World Quest. This yields your first Precious chest in the area.
From there, head south towards the igloo and help the Jack Frosts build their home with the Prime Ice Construct blueprints to get another Precious chest. Seelie Chests Near the Igloo
There is a Seelie near the Jack Frosts’ home. Approach it and follow it to locate a Luxurious chest. Then move south again, remove the Prime Ice to reveal another Seelie, and follow it back using the zip line mechanic. Both Seelies require patience — just stay close and follow their path without attacking anything nearby that could despawn them.
Trembling Voice Haunted House Puzzle
Head east of the Inverted Glacier Domain to find the haunted house tied to the Trembling Voice puzzle. This is one of the more involved puzzles in Everfrozen Earth. Here is the full step-by-step to solve it and claim the Precious chest at the end:
- Light the bonfire with a Pyro character
- Use the Prime Ice Construct to block the cracks in the walls
- Grab the chair blueprint
- Construct a chair on the opposite side
- Light the fire again
- Go to the rooftop
- Get the gift box blueprint
- Construct it on the table, then remove it
- Claim the Exquisite chest
- Light the fire again
- Follow the Seelie to claim the Precious chest
Cloud Platform and Cave Chest
Move south and jump on top of the clouds to find a Precious chest, which unlocks automatically after reaching it. Use a Grappling Gun, or just jump down from the train tracks above it. Glide north afterward and enter the cave space inside the mountain to claim another Precious chest. The cave chest requires no puzzle — just enter and pick it up.
Gang-Occupied Cavern
The Gang-Occupied Cavern has two Precious chests, which can be found during the Disputes without Honor and Humanity quest, or after it is done and the cave is enemy-free. If enemies are still present, clear them first. The chests do not require any puzzle — they just become accessible once the cave is safe.
After claiming those two, get the Luxurious chest on the northwestern island after completing the Like a Labyrinth Imprisons Her Servants quest. This mission only triggers after completing the A Great Heart Fettered by Slender Chains quest and reading the Eye of Graeae’s message about the giant figure by the sea. Do not skip this quest chain — the Luxurious chest here is one of the most valuable in the zone.
Sanctuary of Grief
The Sanctuary of Grief has one Luxurious chest. Follow Signora’s signature crimson butterfly to the tomb. The butterfly serves as the path marker. Simply follow it and the chest appears at the destination. No combat is required, but you do need to have progressed far enough in the Snezhnaya story to access this area.
Morepesok
You can get a Precious chest from Childe’s hometown, Morepesok, after completing The Sunken Ship, Sailed Past, Ringing no Bells quest. It only triggers after completing the first part, which is Ever Beneath the Waves. This is part of the Morepesok World Quest chain, so work through those quests as you explore the town.
There is also a Luxurious chest in Morepesok. Head to the south-eastern station in Morepesok and interact with Kruzhkova to spawn a Luxurious chest. Shrine of Depths – First Luxurious Chest
Arriving at Flamefeather Valley during the In the Dwelling of Life quest, you will come across the first Luxurious chest inside a Shrine of Depths. Use a Snezhnaya Shrine of Depths key to unlock it and claim the precious items inside. Snowmelt Drainage Channel
Teleport to the Snowmelt Drainage Channel and collect one Precious chest and one Luxurious chest as you progress through the World Quest there. Okurov – Three Chests and Three Seelies
Exit the Drainage Channel to reach Okurov. Complete the puzzles there to collect two more Precious chests and a Luxurious chest. One Luxurious chest is stashed on the upper floor — use the Grappling Gun on the second chandelier to reach it. Then take the elevator up and claim the second Precious chest.
This area is quest-locked, so make sure you have completed the Forbidding Doors of Melancholy before attempting to collect these. The Grappling Gun for the upper-floor chest can be easy to miss — look for the second chandelier specifically, not the first one near the entrance.
Flamefeather Valley Statue of the Seven Area
If you teleport to the Flamefeather Valley Statue of the Seven, you can get another Precious chest after defeating two waves of enemies. This is a straightforward combat challenge.
