Renjishi Location in Palworld – Where to Find It

Renjishi does not spawn as a regular wild Pal anywhere on the map. It exists exclusively as a Field Alpha Boss encounter in one specific spot:

• Region: The World Tree
• Exact spot: Northeast area of the World Tree map, east of the Corroded Hollow fast travel point
• Level: 78

Renjishi has a fixed spawn point with its own marker on the map. Once you are in the World Tree, finding it is simple — head north toward Corroded Hollow and look for the boss marker. It has a dedicated arena that is free from the toxic gas that fills the deeper parts of Corroded Hollow, so you can fight and catch it normally without taking environmental damage.

If you accidentally defeat Renjishi before catching it, it will respawn after around 15 minutes. So there is no need to panic if the first attempt goes wrong.

How to Unlock the World Tree to Reach Renjishi

The World Tree is locked behind a barrier. You cannot enter until you meet a specific requirement. Here is the full process to get in:

Step 1 – Defeat All Tower Bosses

You need to defeat all Tower Bosses across Palpagos, Feybreak, and Sunreach. There are 9 total in Palworld 1.0. Step 2 – Complete the Panthalus Questline

After clearing all Tower Bosses, the main story leads you to a researcher at the Deserted Islet who starts the Panthalus quest. You need to:

• Collect four Echobones from giant whale skeleton remains marked on the map
• Craft the Echoing Flute using the four bones
• Use the flute at the Deserted Islet to summon and fight Panthalus — a massive whale-type Pal with an enormous health pool and wide AoE water attacks
• Capture Panthalus with a Pal Sphere — you must catch it, not kill it. The fight ends at a guaranteed low HP window, so bring strong spheres and do not use your most powerful burst moves at the end
• Speak to the researcher to receive the quest “To The World Tree” — this step is required before the terminal works

Step 3 – Interact with the World Tree Terminal

With Panthalus in your party, fast travel to the Base of the World Tree (coordinates approximately -838, 689). Interact with the terminal at the front of the barrier. A cutscene plays and the barrier drops permanently. The entire World Tree region is now open for exploration.

Important: Before exploring the deeper parts of the World Tree, craft a Gas Mask. Parts of the Corroded Hollow are filled with toxic gas that drains your health continuously. Renjishi’s arena itself is safe, but the path to it goes through hazardous zones.

Once you are in the World Tree and have located Renjishi, here is how to catch it efficiently:
