007 First Light: Knightfall is one of the most varied missions in the game. One moment you are bluffing past guards in a meeting room, the next you are sneaking through a data center in a stolen disguise, and then cracking a penthouse safe on the first try. There is a lot packed in here — and all 23 challenges need to be completed to walk away with the White Tux.
This guide covers every challenge in Knightfall, what it requires, and how to complete the trickier ones without wasting runs. The game is available on PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. You can learn more about the game from IO Interactive’s official page.

Knightfall Mission Overview
Knightfall takes place inside Webb Industries HQ. Bond enters alongside John Greenway to uncover THEIA’s hidden secrets. The elevators are out, so progress means climbing stairs, navigating locked floors, slipping through a guarded executive area, reaching the Perch data center in disguise, hacking servers in the server room, and eventually cracking the penthouse safe before escaping.
The mission has distinct zones — the lobby and stairs, the executive 2nd floor, the data center, and the penthouse — and challenges are spread across all of them. Completing all 23 unlocks the White Tux, which is wearable in TacSim. If you want to check the full mission list and rewards across the whole game, the all missions, challenges, and collectibles guide has everything in one place.

All 23 Knightfall Challenges
Here is every challenge in Knightfall along with what it requires and how to get it done.
Pacifist: Knightfall
Complete the Discretion Advised and IT Specialist challenges. Both are the two main stealth encounters in the mission. Full walkthroughs for each are in the sections below.
Ghost: Knightfall
Complete the Hand of God and Underdressed challenges. Again, both are stealth-based. Walkthroughs are below.
Assault: Knightfall
Complete the Server Crash, All the Time in the World, and Makeover challenges. These are the three combat-focused challenges in the mission, each covered in their own sections below.
Exclusive Access
Obtain Roger Finch’s Keycard. After Greenway boosts you up to the platform, head down the stairs into the restrooms and enter the left stall to pick up the keycard. This lets you open the Level 1 doors and reach the stairs toward the Perch. For the full step-by-step, see the Intel Clearance Level guide.
High Ground
Take the vent to open the door for Greenway on the executive 2nd floor. After Greenway heads into the restroom, go right to the maintenance room. Use the Laser Strap to open the vent above you and climb inside. Follow the vent to open the door from the other side.
Tactical Pause
Complete all personal conversations with Greenway. After dealing with the lone guard upstairs and finding the exit, speak to Greenway and work through all three optional dialogue options before leaving the room. This is easy to miss if you rush past the conversation prompt.
Discretion Advised

Get through the executive 2nd floor meeting room area without alerting or taking out anyone. When you drop into the area, a guard immediately spots you. You must Bluff him first, then move through the rest of the encounter using full stealth — no takedowns and no alerts. Full walkthrough is in the dedicated section below.
Hand of God

Take down every enemy in the executive 2nd floor meeting room area without being spotted. This is the opposite approach to Discretion Advised — you need to clear the room entirely, but all through stealth kills. Full walkthrough is below.
Makeover
Smash four security guards into the meeting room windows. In the executive 2nd floor meeting room, use the charge move (R2/RT) to ram enemies into the glass. Repeat until four have been thrown through windows. This is easiest on a run where you are not going for stealth.
Blackball
Challenge Greenway to a game of pool. After speaking with Greenway, vault over the railing at the bar area. Instead of climbing up to the executive 2nd floor encounter, hack the door on the left and get Greenway to open it for you from the other side. Once inside, interact with the pool cues on the wall to trigger the game.
Crackerjacker
Open the penthouse safe on the first try. The safe is behind a secret button in the drawer on Webb’s desk. The code is 1493 (also shown as 1493E). The four digits come from four items in the penthouse: the College Diploma (1), the Basilisk Painting (4), the Video Game (9), and the Scale Model (3). Interact with each item to read its description and confirm the digits before you open the safe.
Epic Fail
Input the wrong safe code seven times in a row. Simply enter any incorrect code seven times — just make sure none of them are 1493. The easiest approach is to get this challenge first, then reload the checkpoint and enter the correct code for Crackerjacker. Both challenges cannot be earned in the same run.
All the Time in the World (Knightfall)
Take out all 11 guards during the timed run to the Perch. You have three minutes to reach the elevator, and there are 11 enemies along the route. Clear them all before the timer runs out. Prioritise fast movement and keep track of guard positions as you go so no one is missed.
After Hours
Enter the data center while wearing a disguise. Once Greenway reaches the data center and Bond is left outside without access, use the Q-Lens to spot a robot vacuum cleaner nearby. The vacuum has a locker key. Recall the vacuum to the wall, take the key, then open the maintenance room to find the disguise inside. Put it on and walk into the data center. Full steps are in the dedicated Underdressed/After Hours section below.
Underdressed
Reach the data center without being spotted. You need the same disguise used for After Hours, but you also cannot be seen by the two staff members in the maintenance room on the way to get it. Move carefully and use distractions before picking up the disguise. The walkthrough below covers both challenges together since they are completed at the same time.
IT Specialist

Activate all three servers for Greenway in the data center without alerting anyone. No bodies can be found and nobody can see you. This is one of the hardest challenges in the mission. Full walkthrough is in the server room section below.
Service Update
Take down eight guards in the data center, hack all three servers, and return to Greenway — all without alerting anyone. This challenge pairs well with IT Specialist if you can chain stealth takedowns on eight enemies before touching the servers. Note that some early versions of the game had this challenge bugged, so check for patches if it fails to pop after meeting the conditions.
Server Crash
Fight ten security guards in the data center. Skip the stealth approach entirely and start a fight. Keep engaging until the challenge pops at ten guards. This conflicts with IT Specialist and Service Update, so do this on a separate run.
To the Point
Reach the data center without using any gadgets. Play through the approach to the Perch without activating or throwing any gadgets. Movement and bluffing are still fair game.
Something to Prove
Defeat 10 guards in the run to the Perch. Use combat freely and keep clearing guards until you hit ten.
Cressida’s Way
Cross the timed section to the Perch without killing any enemies. Use bluffs, distractions, and evasion only during the three-minute escape. Something to Prove and Cressida’s Way cannot be earned in the same run — plan accordingly.
Under Par
Escape to the helicopter in under two minutes. Once the escape sequence begins, move as quickly as possible and avoid stopping to fight. Knowing the layout helps a lot here, so complete this on a replay once you are familiar with the route.
Close Shave
Escape to the helicopter with less than 10% health. Let enemies hit you and take damage during the escape without dying, then reach the helicopter while critically low on health. Combine this with a run where you are not going for stealth or speed.
Walkthrough: Discretion Advised (Stealth — No Alerts, No Takedowns)
This challenge covers the executive 2nd floor meeting room area. When you drop into the encounter, a guard will immediately spot Bond. Bluff him straight away using the bluff button (Circle/B). This is mandatory — you cannot avoid the first sighting, but the bluff prevents it from counting as an alert.
After the bluff, leave the room so the guard is no longer tracking you. From here, navigate the rest of the meeting room area using vents, patience, and gadgets. Hack air conditioners to create smoke screens that block camera lines and guard sightlines. Use the Q-Lens to check guard positions before moving.
The key rule is no takedowns at all. Every enemy must be bypassed, not removed. Move only when guards are facing away or distracted. Take your time — there is no timer here, so patience is your best tool. If you need to cross a guarded area, use a Phone Dart or hack a nearby object to pull a guard’s attention before moving.
Walkthrough: Hand of God (Stealth — Clear All Enemies Undetected)
Hand of God requires the opposite approach. Every enemy in the executive 2nd floor meeting room must be taken down, but none of them can ever see you. All takedowns must be stealth kills.
Start the same way as Discretion Advised — bluff the first guard when he spots you, then leave the room to reset his suspicion. Once he relaxes, come back and wait for him to turn away, then take him out quietly.
Work through the room guard by guard. Use air conditioner hacks and smoke to separate enemies and pull them into isolated positions. Never move on a guard while others have a sightline on the area. Hack objects to distract one guard while you close in on another. Move bodies if needed to stop patrols from spotting them.
This is a slow, methodical challenge. Rushing it will trigger alerts and fail the run. Check your gadget loadout before starting — having the right tools makes the guard separation much easier. For a full rundown of what each gadget does, see the all gadgets guide.
Walkthrough: After Hours and Underdressed (Data Center Disguise)
When Greenway reaches the data center, Bond is left outside without clearance. The mission wants you to find a disguise. Here is how to do both challenges at once.
Use the Q-Lens and look down at the floor below. You will spot a robot vacuum cleaner. Scan it and you will see it is carrying a locker key. Recall the vacuum to a wall socket to stop it, then grab the key from it.
Now go to the maintenance room. There are two staff members inside. For Underdressed, neither of them can spot you. Distract them both — use a gadget on an object in the room to draw their attention — then slip through and open the locker. Take the disguise inside.
Put it on and walk into the data center. Entering while wearing it completes After Hours. Reaching the data center without being spotted on the way completes Underdressed. Both challenges unlock from the same run.
Walkthrough: IT Specialist (Server Room — Full Stealth)
IT Specialist is one of the hardest challenges in the whole mission. You need to hack all three servers for Greenway without anyone being alerted and without any bodies being found.
Before you start, make sure you have enough gadget charges. The server room has multiple guards, and you will need to create distractions at each server terminal to clear the immediate area without fighting.
Move to the first server. Use an air conditioner hack or a gadget throw to pull any nearby guard away from the panel, then interact with the server quickly and move back into cover. Wait for the guard to return before moving on.
Repeat for servers two and three. The layout means some servers have more guards nearby, so take more time between each one. Never leave a body in the open — if you do take a guard down, drag them out of sight before moving to the next server.
Once all three servers are activated, return to Greenway to complete the objective and unlock the challenge.
The Penthouse Safe — Crackerjacker and Epic Fail
The penthouse safe challenge is split across two mutually exclusive outcomes. Getting the code right on the first attempt gives you Crackerjacker. Getting it wrong seven times gives you Epic Fail. You cannot do both in the same run.
The recommended approach is to go for Epic Fail first. Enter the wrong code seven times, let the challenge pop, then reload the checkpoint and enter the correct code for Crackerjacker on a clean attempt.
To find the safe, interact with the drawer on Webb’s desk to press the hidden button. The safe appears. The code is 1493. You work it out from four items in the penthouse room — each one contains a number in its description:
- College Diploma — Webb graduated top of his class → 1
- Basilisk Painting — fourth copy → 4
- Video Game — titled Hyperion 9 → 9
- Scale Model — Appendix 3 → 3
Enter them in order: 1-4-9-3. The safe opens on the first try and Crackerjacker is yours.
Conflicting Challenges and Replay Tips
Several Knightfall challenges directly conflict with each other. You cannot complete both a stealth challenge and a combat challenge in the same zone during the same run. Here are the main pairs to plan around:
- Discretion Advised (no takedowns) vs. Hand of God (all stealth takedowns) — separate runs required.
- Makeover (throw guards through windows) vs. Discretion Advised or Hand of God — always a separate combat run.
- IT Specialist / Service Update (full stealth in server room) vs. Server Crash (fight 10 guards) — separate runs required.
- Crackerjacker (correct code first try) vs. Epic Fail (wrong code 7 times) — use checkpoint reload between them.
- Cressida’s Way (no kills to Perch) vs. Something to Prove (10 kills to Perch) — separate runs required.
Use mission replay to jump back into specific checkpoints without replaying the whole mission. This is the most efficient way to clean up conflicting challenges without repeating content you have already completed.
If you are still working through the previous mission before Knightfall and need help, the Uninvited all challenges guide covers all 29 challenges in that mission. One of the trickier ones involves unlocking a hidden room — the Maintenance Room in the Courtyard (Closed for Maintenance) guide has the full steps and code. For other locked doors and codes across the game, the hotel laundry area code guide is a useful reference for the All the Time in the World mission.
