007 First Light Knock Knock Challenge: Obtain an ID Bracelet for Isola
TL;DR
- The Knock Knock Challenge is in the Wave of the Future mission.
- You need to get two ID Bracelets — one for Isola and one for Bond.
- Isola’s bracelet: distract two NPCs in the Lounge and pickpocket the sleeping woman.
- Bond’s bracelet: eavesdrop on the HR Manager, steal his phone, then kick in the restroom door to knock out Somerset.
- Kicking the door completes the Knock Knock Challenge instantly.
007 First Light Knock Knock Challenge is one of the most satisfying moments in the Wave of the Future mission. Bond and Isola reach the cable car checkpoint but are turned away because neither of them has an ID Bracelet. The game gives you very little direction from here. The area is busy, guards are active, and the two bracelets require completely different approaches. This guide walks through every step so you can grab both bracelets cleanly and unlock the challenge without blowing your cover.
This challenge is part of the full 007 First Light Wave of the Future All Challenges guide if you want to complete everything in one run.
What Is the Knock Knock Challenge
The Knock Knock Challenge is triggered during the ID Bracelet section of Wave of the Future. The challenge requires Bond to locate Somerset in the restroom and kick the door open to knock him out. You do not unlock the challenge by simply collecting the bracelet. The door kick is the specific action that pops it. Everything else in this guide — including getting Isola’s bracelet — is setup that leads to that moment.
Where This Happens in the Mission
After entering the Webb Industries facility and speaking with Isola, you will be directed to find ID Bracelets for both of you so you can pass through the cable car checkpoint. The lobby area ahead is where you will spend most of this section. The Lounge is to the left of the lobby stairs. The HR Manager, the helipad area, the reception desk, and the restrooms are all further along in the same general space.
How to Get Isola’s ID Bracelet
Step 1 — Go to the Lounge

From the bottom of the lobby stairs, take the first left. This leads into the Lounge. Inside, you will find a woman asleep in a chair. She is carrying the ID Bracelet you need for Isola. She is an easy target — but the room has two active NPCs who will spot you if you just walk up and grab it.
Step 2 — Distract Both NPCs

In each corner of the Lounge, there is a hackable device — either a laptop or a tablet. Interact with each one to distract the two NPCs, or use your Q-Watch to hack them from a distance without walking near the devices. Both NPCs need to be occupied at the same time before you attempt the pickpocket. Trying to take the bracelet while even one of them is watching will blow your cover.
Step 3 — Pickpocket the Bracelet

With both NPCs distracted, walk up to the sleeping woman and pickpocket the ID Bracelet. Do it cleanly and exit the Lounge. Isola’s bracelet is now secured.
How to Get Bond’s ID Bracelet (Knock Knock Challenge)
Step 1 — Find and Follow the HR Manager

Head back past the reception desk toward the restroom corridor. You will find the HR Manager here. Eavesdrop on his conversation to get useful context. Once he finishes talking, you can use your Q-Watch to hack his phone and trail him as he walks toward the helipad outside. The hack will drop before you get what you need, so you will have to steal his phone the old-fashioned way.
Step 2 — Pick Up the Lighter
Follow the HR Manager to the helipad area outside. On a bench nearby, you will find a lighter. Pick it up. You will need it in the next step. Do not skip this — you cannot set the fire without it.
Step 3 — Set the Trash Can on Fire

Head back toward the reception desk. Go left and vault over the side of the reception counter to hide in the tall grass nearby. Follow the grass to the left until you reach a trash can. Interact with it to set it on fire using the lighter. The fire creates a commotion that pulls the HR Manager over to investigate.
Step 4 — Hack the Laptop to Clear the Second NPC

When the HR Manager walks over to check the fire, a nearby woman is still watching him directly. If you try to pickpocket him at this point, she will catch you immediately. Use your Q-Watch to hack the laptop on the right side of the area. This pulls her attention away. With both characters now occupied, you have a clean window to sneak behind the HR Manager and pickpocket his phone.
Step 5 — Check the Phone for Somerset’s Location
After stealing the phone, Bond accesses it and discovers that a man named Somerset is hiding inside the nearby restroom. This is the key piece of information that moves the challenge forward. Head back to the restroom corridor.
Step 6 — Talk to Somerset Through the Door
Approach the restroom door and interact with it to trigger a short conversation with Somerset, who is locked inside a stall. The dialogue choice here does not matter at all. You just need to trigger the exchange so the game registers the next action. Pick any option and let the conversation play out.
Step 7 — Kick the Door In (Knock Knock Challenge)
Once Somerset is talking, walk up to the door and press Square on PlayStation or X on Xbox to kick it in. The door flies open and slams into Somerset, knocking him out instantly. Loot his body for Bond’s ID Bracelet. The Knock Knock Challenge completes at this exact moment.
What Happens After You Have Both Bracelets
With both ID Bracelets collected, you and Isola can now pass through the cable car checkpoint and enter the Robotics Department. This pushes the Wave of the Future mission forward into its next major section. If you are working through the Robotics Department and need help with the locked Utility room, the 007 First Light First Day At Work Challenge guide covers both entry methods in full.
After the Robotics section, Bond and Isola will eventually split up. You will then need to upgrade the ID Bracelet at the Security Office. The code for the Archives door near the Security Office is 1864, which you can find in the Legal Department safe. Getting it early saves you backtracking later. The Attention to Detail Challenge guide shows exactly where to find it.
Tips to Keep the Run Clean
- Do not try to pickpocket the HR Manager before hacking the laptop near the trash fire. The nearby woman will catch you right away.
- Use the Q-Watch for remote hacks wherever possible. It keeps you further from NPCs and reduces the chance of being spotted.
- The dialogue with Somerset through the door is required. Do not skip to the kick without triggering the conversation first — the challenge will not register.
- After kicking the door, loot Somerset’s body immediately before leaving the area.
- If you are going for a full stealth or pacifist run, note that kicking the door and knocking out Somerset is unavoidable for this challenge. Plan around it.
Other Wave of the Future Challenges to Do in the Same Run
Since you are already in this section, it is worth knocking out as many nearby challenges as possible. A few that fit well alongside the Knock Knock Challenge:
- Attention to Detail Challenge — grab the Archives code from the Legal Department safe.
- First Day At Work Challenge — use both Utility entry methods in the Robotics Department.
- Math Puzzle Snoop Around Challenge — located in the Operations area after Isola leaves.
- Wave of the Future All Challenges — full list of all 24 challenges in the mission.
