TL;DR
- Kina comes in two types: Regular Kina (tradeable) and Kina (Bound) (not tradeable) — regular Kina is more valuable.
- Best early method: Main story quests + Sealed Dungeons — earns 100,000–400,000 Kina in your first hours.
- Best daily method: 5 Duty Missions per day = ~250,000 Bound Kina daily (~1.75 million per week).
- Best dedicated Kina dungeon: Crobakhi’s Secret Depository — up to 300,000 Kina per clear, from Level 30.
- Best endgame method: Conquest Expeditions + spending Odyle Energy on reward cubes.
- Monster farming has a 1,000,000 Kina daily cap — after hitting it, switch to gathering or dungeons.
- Selling to NPC merchants gives Bound Kina only — list tradeable items on the Market instead.
- Market access requires an active Special Quai Membership.
Kina runs everything in Aion 2. Enhancement costs, crafting materials, teleport fees, Market purchases — it all adds up fast. And if you are not farming it with some kind of structure, you will feel like you are always behind.
The good news is there is no one secret method. There are several reliable sources, and stacking them together into a daily routine is what separates players who are constantly flush with Kina from those who are always scraping.
Here is every method worth using, organized by how good they actually are.
Bound Kina vs Regular Kina — What Is the Difference?
Before anything else, you need to understand this. Aion 2 has two versions of the same currency:
- Regular Kina — fully tradeable. Works on the Market, World Market, personal trading, and storage transfers between characters. This is the version you want when building wealth.
- Kina (Bound) — stays on the character that earned it. Cannot be used on the Market. Comes from quests, Duty Missions, Sealed Dungeons, and most daily content.
Regular Kina is the more valuable currency because it has more uses. Bound Kina still helps cover your character’s everyday costs, but it should not be your main priority when you have access to Regular Kina sources.
When a purchase accepts either type, the game spends your Bound Kina first — so you never accidentally waste tradeable Kina on routine costs. That is a useful mechanic to know early.

1. Main Story Quests and Sealed Dungeons — Best Early Game Method
If you are still leveling, the fastest thing you can do is follow the main story and clear every Sealed Dungeon you pass along the way.
Before level 20, following the main missions and clearing Sealed Dungeons is the most reliable method to pocket between 100,000 and 400,000 Kina in your first hours. That is a solid start, and you would be doing most of this content anyway just to progress your character.
Sealed Dungeons pay around 15,000 Kina each as a clear reward, and there are 81 of them per faction. At that rate, working through them adds up to a meaningful Kina cushion well before you hit the level cap.
Do not skip quests thinking you will start farming sooner. The campaign Kina is some of the most efficient income during the leveling phase. Strongholds also reward around 15,000 Kina each on completion — clear those too while you explore.
For a full breakdown on how to progress efficiently, see our leveling and progression guide.

2. Duty Missions — Best Daily Kina Source
Once you hit Level 45, Duty Missions become your most reliable daily Kina source. They are not the most exciting content, but the consistency is hard to beat.
At level 45, individual Duties pay around 50,000 Kina each. Five completions per day adds up to 250,000 Kina daily, or roughly 1.75 million per week from this source alone. Some Duty Missions also offer a chance-based bonus reward that can push a single mission’s payout to around 150,000 Kina — pure upside on top of the baseline.
You get five Duty Mission completions per day per character. Do these first before anything else. They take little time and the Kina is guaranteed. If the missions in your rotation have weak rewards or send you too far out of your way, check whether you can reroll them for a small fee.
For the best missions to prioritize, check our guide on best Duty Missions in Aion 2.
3. Crobakhi’s Secret Depository — Best Dedicated Kina Dungeon
Crobakhi’s Secret Depository is a Daily Dungeon built specifically for Kina farming. Each run gives you a set time to dodge bombs and collect coins, with a maximum payout of 300,000 Kina per clear.
It is available from Level 30 and is one of the most time-efficient Kina activities in the game. The dungeon is short, the mechanics are simple, and 300,000 Kina in a single run is hard to beat anywhere else. Run this every day before anything else — it fits in around 10 minutes, has no Odyle Energy cost, and the payout is consistent.

4. Expeditions and Conquest Dungeons — Best Endgame Kina Farm
At endgame, Expedition and Conquest dungeons form the core of consistent Kina income because their rewards are tied to Odyle Energy — a resource you generate passively at all times.
Here is how the two types differ:
- Expedition Exploration — rewards Bound Kina from reward cubes. Good for daily income, but the Kina cannot be traded.
- Expedition Conquest — rewards Regular (tradeable) Kina. This is the version that works on the Marketplace and covers all character expenses, making it the more valuable of the two.
Prioritize Conquest over Exploration whenever you meet the gear score requirement. After clearing a dungeon, spend Odyle Energy on the reward cube to claim your full payout. Higher-tier Expeditions offer more Kina, so push your gear score to access better dungeons as soon as you can.
One important thing to know: Kina payouts follow a diminishing returns system as your weekly Conquest and Transcendence run count climbs. Spread your runs across different dungeons rather than hammering the same one repeatedly, especially later in the week.
For help hitting the gear score required for higher-tier content, see our guide on how to increase gear score in Aion 2.
5. Monster Farming — Steady Income with a Daily Cap
Killing monsters drops Kina proportional to your level at rates of 20 to 50 or more per kill. It is not flashy, but it adds up steadily during normal gameplay and you are killing monsters anyway as part of everything else.
Normal open-world fields have a daily Kina acquisition cap of 1,000,000 per character. Once you hit that ceiling, monsters stop dropping Kina for the day. At that point, switch to gathering materials or running dungeons instead.
The smart approach is to farm monsters during downtime — between queues, while traveling, during field event cooldowns. Beyond the direct Kina drop, mobs also drop gear, Manastones, Soulstones, Refining Stones, and crafting materials that all have value on the Market.
Target yellow-named monsters — they are at the optimal level range for Kina drops, item drops, and Soul rewards. Red mobs are too strong, grey mobs yield almost nothing useful.
6. Gathering Materials and Selling on the Market
Gathering is one of the best long-term Kina sources because it is largely passive — you gather while doing other things anyway, and the materials stack up quickly.
Gathering materials like Odyle and selling them to other players on the Market generates Regular (tradeable) Kina instead of the Bound Kina you would get from vendoring the same items to an NPC. The difference in value can be significant depending on server demand.
The key rule is simple: never vendor tradeable materials to an NPC when those materials are in demand on the Market. Check the Market price before selling anything. A quick glance can easily triple or quadruple what you would earn from the NPC vendor.
For a full breakdown on which gathering materials are most in demand, see our guide to farming Odyle in Aion 2 — it is one of the most-used crafting materials in the game and consistently sells well.
7. The Abyss — Kina and Abyss Points Together
At Level 45, the Abyss becomes an additional Kina source with the bonus of earning Abyss Points at the same time. A single session rewards multiple currencies, making it time-efficient when you factor in everything you collect.
Defeating monsters in the Abyss rewards Kina alongside equipment, crafting materials, and Abyss Points. The main advantage is collecting several types of useful rewards during the same farming session rather than focusing on just one.
The tradeoff is PvP risk. You are in contested territory and enemy faction players can engage you at any time. If you are comfortable with that, the Abyss is worth adding to your endgame rotation. If not, the PvE dungeon loop combined with gathering covers the same ground more safely.
8. Open Odyle Energy Cubes Strategically
After clearing an Expedition or Conquest dungeon, an Odyle Energy Cube appears as a reward. Spending Odyle Energy on it gives you additional rewards — including Kina on top of the gear and materials from the dungeon itself.
Higher-tier Expeditions generally offer more Kina from their cubes. However, the payout per cube drops after several claims in the same dungeon. Your first few openings pay at the full rate, and the Kina per cube decreases from there.
Plan your Odyle Energy spending with this in mind. Prioritize Conquest cubes first, and spread your energy across multiple dungeon types rather than burning all of it in the same place each week.

9. Achievements — One-Time but Worth Checking
Achievements cannot be repeated, but they are worth reviewing regularly. Completing certain achievements pays out large Kina rewards in a single claim, making them one of the fastest ways to get a big Kina injection early in your progression.
Open your Achievement list and look for anything already completed but not yet claimed. Many players sit on uncollected achievement rewards without realizing it. Those payouts add up — do not leave them unclaimed.
10. The Daeva Pass — Free Kina Every Week
The free Daeva Pass track gives 10,000 Bound Kina on ten levels. The Premium track gives 100,000 on each of those same levels. This is passive income from playing content you are already doing — Pass XP accumulates from quests, dungeons, and monster kills automatically.
Free players should claim every Kina reward on the free track as they unlock. Premium players get considerably more. Either way, do not let Pass levels sit unclaimed.
The Market and Membership
The Market is the most powerful Kina-generation tool in Aion 2, but it requires the Special Quai Membership (around $15 per month). Without it, you cannot buy or sell on the Market — your Kina only pays for your own character’s expenses.
With Membership, you can list gathered materials, surplus gear, crafting ingredients, and rare drops for whatever the Market supports. A bundle of Odyle materials that would sell to an NPC for a few thousand Kina might fetch 50,000 or more from another player who needs it for crafting.
Some players self-sustain the entire Membership cost by selling farmed materials on the Market, converting the earned Kina into Quna through the official Exchange, and using that Quna to pay for the next month. It takes some setup but is entirely possible without extra spending.
Free players still earn plenty of Kina through all the methods above. The Market simply adds another multiplier on top for those who choose it.
How to Stop Wasting Kina Faster Than You Earn It
Farming Kina is half the equation. The other half is not burning it carelessly. Here are the most common mistakes:
- Vendoring tradeable materials to NPCs. Always check the Market price first. The NPC gives you a tiny amount of Bound Kina. The Market often gives Regular Kina at several times that value.
- Teleporting for short distances. Teleports cost Kina. Walking short distances is free. Early on this matters more than it seems.
- Upgrading gear without knowing the cost curve. Enhancement costs for permanent items like the Noble Belt jump significantly at Epic and Unique tier. Know your budget before you start. Our Noble Belt upgrade guide has the full cost breakdown.
- Selling everything to vendors out of habit. This is the single most common mistake new players make. Tradeable items belong on the Market, not at the NPC vendor.
Suggested Daily Kina Routine
Here is a simple daily loop that stacks multiple sources efficiently:
- First: Run Crobakhi’s Secret Depository — 10 minutes, up to 300,000 Kina
- Then: Complete your 5 Duty Missions — around 250,000 Bound Kina
- Then: Run your best available Conquest Expedition and spend Odyle Energy on the cube — Regular Kina plus gear drops
- While traveling: Gather Odyle and other materials from aerial nodes — list on Market if you have Membership
- Fill remaining time: Open-world monster farming up to the 1,000,000 daily cap
- Weekly: Clear all available Crobakhi’s attempts, check unclaimed Achievement rewards, claim Daeva Pass levels
Follow this consistently for a week and your Kina situation will look very different.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the fastest way to farm Kina in Aion 2?
Run Expeditions and Transcendence dungeons and open their reward cubes with Odyle Energy, complete your daily Duty Missions, and run Crobakhi’s Secret Depository every day. If you have a Membership, sell useful drops on the Market on top of all that. Combining these methods into a daily routine is the most efficient approach at any stage.
What is the difference between Bound Kina and Regular Kina?
Regular Kina is fully tradeable and works on the Market and in storage transfers between characters. Kina (Bound) is tied to the character that earned it and cannot be used for Market transactions. When you spend Kina on in-game purchases, the game uses Bound Kina first to protect your tradeable balance.
Is there a daily Kina farming cap?
Yes, for monster farming specifically. Normal open-world fields have a daily Kina acquisition cap of 1,000,000 per character. Dungeon rewards and quest payouts do not count toward this cap, so those sources remain productive even after you hit the monster ceiling.
Can free-to-play players farm Kina efficiently?
Yes. Without a Membership you earn Kina through quests, Sealed Dungeons, monsters, Crobakhi’s Secret Depository, and Expedition cubes. You just cannot buy or sell on the Market. That is enough to fund your own progression, though slower than a Membership player who can also sell materials to other players.
What is Crobakhi’s Secret Depository?
It is a Daily Dungeon available from Level 30 built specifically for Kina farming. Each run gives you a set time to collect coins while avoiding bombs. The maximum payout is 300,000 Kina per clear. Run it every day — it is short, consistent, and has no Odyle Energy cost.
Should I sell drops to NPC merchants or on the Market?
Always check the Market first. Selling to NPC vendors gives you Bound Kina at a fixed low price. Selling tradeable materials on the Market gives Regular Kina, often at several times the vendor value. Only use NPC vendors for items that are not tradeable or not worth listing.
Does Conquest give more Kina than regular Expeditions?
Yes, and of a better type. Conquest Expeditions reward Regular (tradeable) Kina, while Exploration Expeditions reward Bound Kina. For players building wealth to spend on the Market, Conquest should always be the priority when you meet the gear score requirement.
Do I need a Membership to farm Kina?
No. All the core farming methods — quests, Duty Missions, Sealed Dungeons, monster farming, Crobakhi’s, and Expedition cubes — are fully available to free players. Membership unlocks the Market and Kina-Quna Exchange, which are the biggest multipliers for income. Free players can still progress well without it.
