The Anto Templar Hunt walkthrough in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced takes you through four missions in Kingston, in the Navassa region. You’ll go from snooping in a tavern to busting Maroons out of captivity, surviving a full-on assault at the Bureau, and finally taking down a Templar commander at a heavily guarded party. Finish all four and you walk away with a Templar Key — one of four you need to unlock the Templar Armor at your Great Inagua Manor.
- Four missions: The Maroon Assassin, Recruiting Maroons, Under Attack, and The Commander’s Ruse.
- Anto is found at the Assassin’s Bureau in Kingston, Navassa region.
- Unlock condition: complete the main story mission This Old Cove first.
- Mission 2 involves freeing three groups of captured Maroons and taking down a guard officer.
- Mission 3 is a three-wave Bureau defense — stock up on ammo before you start.
- The final target, Kenneth Abraham, is best handled with stealth at a party. Bushes and whistling are your best tools.
- Reward: one Templar Key.
If you haven’t unlocked Anto yet, you need to finish This Old Cove in the main story first. After that, all four Templar Hunts appear in your Quest Log at once and can be done in any order. For a full look at all four hunts and how they connect, see the complete AC Black Flag Resynced Templar Hunts guide.
Where to Find Anto in AC Black Flag Resynced
Head to Kingston in the Navassa region. Anto is waiting inside the local Assassin’s Bureau. The Bureau marker appears on your map as soon as you’re in the area, so it’s easy to spot. Speak to him to trigger the first mission in the chain.

Mission 1: The Maroon Assassin

After speaking to Anto, your first job is to investigate the Tavern in Kingston. Head inside and find the back of the room. There’s a Notice of Dismissal sitting on a desk with a green marker on it. Pick it up and read it to move the mission forward.
Next, make your way to the church area. A group of three guards is walking around with green markers above their heads. Your job is to follow them through the streets without getting spotted. Stay back and track them from a distance — you can also tail them from the rooftops to stay out of their line of sight.
After a while, the guards sense something is off and scatter. As soon as they split up, chase after one. Wait until he’s separated from the others, then sprint after him and tackle him to the ground. A short cutscene plays. When it’s over, return to Anto and report what you found. That wraps Mission 1.
Mission 2: Recruiting Maroons

Speak to Anto to begin. Follow him to the objective area. Your map shows three green markers, each pointing to a group of captured Maroons being held by enemy soldiers. There’s no need for stealth here — you can fight your way through each group however you like.
- First group – A double takedown on the two guards at the entrance works well. Free the prisoner once they’re down.
- Second group – Guards are walking the prisoner. Take all four out to rescue them.
- Third group – The most heavily guarded of the three. Fight through the soldiers and free the third prisoner.
After freeing all three groups, your next target is a guard officer walking through the area with a few soldiers. Taking him head-on in the middle of his patrol is messy. The cleaner play is to climb onto a nearby rooftop and drop down for an air assassination before anyone reacts.
The GAMES.GG guide also notes you can spend 150 Reales on drunkards in the area to create a distraction. They pull aggro from multiple guards at once, giving you a much cleaner window to go after the officer without getting swarmed. It’s optional but worth it if you’d rather not fight your way through his escort.
Once the officer is dead, head south to the cemetery and meet Anto. Talk to him there, then return to the Assassin’s Bureau to complete the mission and continue the chain.
Mission 3: Under Attack
This mission starts the moment you speak to Anto back at the Bureau. Soldiers immediately rush in and the building comes under assault. Your only job here is to survive three waves of enemies.
Fight through each wave and clear every enemy before the next one arrives. Between waves, check inside the Bureau — healing items and ammunition are stocked on the tables and can be grabbed freely. Use them. Don’t try to conserve supplies here; running dry mid-wave is the main way this mission goes wrong.
One thing to watch in the final wave: the last enemy tends to hang back on the roof rather than pushing in with the others. If the wave doesn’t seem to end, look up. Climb up and take him out to trigger the completion.
Once all three waves are done, speak to Anto. He’ll hand you your final mission objective.
If you need to sort out your loadout or supplies before tackling the final mission, the crafting guide has everything you need to top up your gear, and the healing items and max health guide is worth a look before any tough combat stretch.
Mission 4: The Commander’s Ruse
This is the finale. Your target is Kenneth Abraham — but you need to locate him first before you can move in for the kill.

Finding Kenneth Abraham
Start by tailing two officers in the marketplace. Stay far enough back that they don’t notice you, and listen to their conversation as they walk. They’ll lead you to a restricted party area where Kenneth is attending a gathering. Follow the quest marker to meet up with Anto near the party entrance, then head inside.
Navigating the Party
The area is heavily guarded. Do not fight your way through the crowd — you’ll get swarmed fast. Instead, activate Eagle Vision and look north. Kenneth is positioned near the buffet in the north part of the zone, marked with a green objective icon.
The most effective approach is a systematic stealth clear using the bushes:
- Find a bush near a guard and crouch inside it.
- Whistle to lure the guard toward you, then take him out quietly.
- Move to the next bush and repeat, rotating around the area to avoid detection.
- Work your way north until you’re close to Kenneth.
Assassinating Kenneth Abraham
Once most of the nearby guards are gone, use the same whistle trick on Kenneth himself. Lure him into a bush and finish him there. This keeps the kill clean and avoids triggering the full guard response across the party.
After confirming the kill, you receive the Templar Key. Return to the Bureau and speak with Anto one last time to close out the questline completely.
Templar Key Reward and What Comes Next
Finishing Anto’s chain earns you one of the four Templar Keys available from the Templar Hunts. You also need one key from the main story — awarded automatically after defeating Du Casse during A Single Madman. Once you have all five, head to the Manor at Great Inagua and open the suit cage to unlock the Templar Armor.
If you’ve already done Upton Travers’ chain in Nassau, check the Upton Travers Templar Hunt walkthrough to compare. The Rhona Dinsmore hunt in Havana is the shortest of the four and a good one to knock out next — the Rhona Dinsmore Templar Hunt walkthrough covers all four of her missions in full.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where is Anto in AC Black Flag Resynced?
Anto is inside the Assassin’s Bureau in Kingston, located in the Navassa region. The Bureau marker appears on your map when you enter the area. You need to have completed This Old Cove in the main story before the Templar Hunt becomes available.
What are the four missions in Anto’s Templar Hunt?
The four missions are The Maroon Assassin, Recruiting Maroons, Under Attack, and The Commander’s Ruse. Each one unlocks automatically after completing the one before it.
Do I need to use stealth to free the Maroons in Mission 2?
No. You can fight your way through all three prisoner locations without any stealth requirement. The only area where stealth pays off is taking out the guard officer at the end — an air assassination from a rooftop is the cleanest approach.
What do I do if the third wave in Mission 3 won’t end?
Check the roof of the Bureau. The last enemy in the final wave tends to hang back up there instead of pushing into the fight with the others. Climb up and finish him to complete the wave.
Where exactly is Kenneth Abraham at the party in Mission 4?
Kenneth is near the buffet in the north part of the party area. Activate Eagle Vision after entering the zone and he’ll be marked. Use bushes and the whistle to thin out the guards around him before moving in.
What do I get for completing Anto’s Templar Hunt?
You receive a Templar Key. You need five in total — four from the Templar Hunts and one from the main story — to unlock the Templar Armor at the Manor in Great Inagua.
