TL;DR
- The White Bloodwind set is exclusive to Damiane and consists of six pieces
- Every piece is unlocked by reaching 100 Trust with a specific NPC — no chest hunting required
- NPCs involved: Olanelle (Demeniss Tailor), Stefan Lanford (Calphade), Rulupee (Pororin), Polan (Pororin), Chief Monk (Jijeong Temple)
- Stefan Lanford only accepts flower baskets; Rulupee and Polan accept flower baskets, horns, and mushrooms; the Chief Monk accepts vegetables; Olanelle accepts Copper Pouches
- The Chief Monk piece is missable — if you finish Chapter 9 without maxing his Trust, you cannot get it until the epilogue (if at all)
- Stats: Lightning Resistance Lv 1 on most pieces, with boots giving 30 Attack and 18 Defense
Damiane’s White Bloodwind armor is one of the most visually distinctive sets in Crimson Desert. Pure white cloth layered over black leather gives it a striking look that stands out from every other outfit in the game. Beyond looks, it also comes with solid Lightning Resistance and decent Attack stats on the boots.
Unlike most armor in Pywel, you cannot find this set in chests or buy it from regular vendors. Every single piece is tied to reaching 100 Trust with a specific NPC. This guide covers every piece, every NPC, and what gifts to bring — including the one piece that is potentially missable forever.
White Bloodwind Armor — Full Set Overview
The White Bloodwind set has six pieces total:
- White Bloodwind Plate Helmet — from Olanelle, the Tailor in Demeniss
- White Bloodwind Leather Armor (chest) — from Stefan Lanford in Calphade
- White Bloodwind Plate Gloves — from Chief Monk at Jijeong Temple
- White Bloodwind Cloth Cloak — from Rulupee in Pororin
- White Bloodwind Leather Boots — from Polan in Pororin
The set comes with Lightning Resistance Lv 1 across the armor pieces, and the boots bring 30 Attack and 18 Defense. The passive Spirit restoration makes it a strong practical choice for players who rely heavily on Damiane’s skill-heavy combat style, where Spirit management is a constant concern during longer fights.
⚠️ Warning: The Chief Monk Piece Is Potentially Missable
Before diving into the full guide, one critical warning.
The White Bloodwind Plate Gloves from the Chief Monk at Jijeong Temple are potentially missable. If you complete the Jijeong Temple section of the main story (Chapter 9) without first maxing the Chief Monk’s Trust to 100, he will no longer spawn at the temple. According to community reports, the Gift option for the Chief Monk may also be unavailable during Chapters 8 and 9 but becomes available again in Chapter 11 or 12. If you have already completed the main story, try finding him again in the epilogue.
This is one of the only truly missable rewards in the game. Prioritize it as soon as the temple becomes accessible.
Piece 1 — White Bloodwind Plate Helmet
NPC: Olanelle the Tailor
Location: Laughing Marionette, Demeniss (just outside the City of Demeniss main gate)
Accepted Gifts: Copper Pouches
How to reach 100 Trust: Give Olanelle 10 Copper Pouches. Copper Pouches are easy to get by pickpocketing NPCs around Demeniss. Check our guide on how to pickpocket in Crimson Desert for tips on building a fast supply.
Once her Trust hits 100, the White Bloodwind Plate Helmet (styled as a circlet) unlocks in her shop inventory. Purchase it directly from her.
Bonus tip: Olanelle is the same vendor who sells the Demenissian Soldiers’ Brimstone Gas Mask — a useful pickup while you are already in the area.
Piece 2 — White Bloodwind Leather Armor (Chest)

NPC: Stefan Lanford (Marquis Lanford)
Location: Calphade Castle — first encountered in Chapter 6, and available again at Calphade Castle during the epilogue
Accepted Gifts: Flower Baskets only

How to reach 100 Trust: Stefan Lanford is particular about gifts — he only accepts flower baskets. A good time to stock up on flower pots and flower baskets is during Chapter 5, when the cemetery boss fight area has close to 100 flower pots scattered around. Grab as many as you can during that section.
Note from the community: the Gift option for Lanford may not be available during Chapters 8 through 10. Chapter 6 is the earliest window, and Chapter 11 or 12 (or the epilogue) is when he becomes accessible again if you missed the earlier opportunity. Once you hit 100 Trust, he rewards you directly with the chest armor.
Piece 3 — White Bloodwind Plate Gloves

NPC: Chief Monk
Location: Jijeong Temple, south Demeniss in Serpent Marsh
Accepted Gifts: Vegetables of any kind

How to reach 100 Trust: The Chief Monk accepts any vegetable. Potatoes, sweet potatoes, and beets are all easy to buy from the Ironwood Farm Owner in the City of Demeniss at very low prices. Stock up and gift him repeatedly until Trust hits 100.
Critical reminder: Do this before completing the Jijeong Temple section of the main story (Chapter 9). Once you finish the temple quest, the Chief Monk no longer spawns there. See our walkthrough on how to repair Pensive Statues in Jijeong Temple for the full quest context.
Piece 4 — White Bloodwind Cloth Cloak

NPC: Rulupee
Location: Pororin village
Accepted Gifts: Flower Baskets

How to reach 100 Trust: Rulupee roams around Pororin and does not stay in one spot. They wear a white dress with a green shirt and a cloaked hood — use that description to identify them in the village. Gift flower baskets until you hit 100 Trust.
If you have already bought all available flower baskets from vendors, you will need to wait for shop restocks before you can continue gifting. Check our guide on when merchant shops restock in Crimson Desert to plan your timing.
To access Pororin at all, you must first complete the Unreachable Village quest. See our full Unreachable Village quest guide and the Children of the Forest quest — you will be asked to speak to Polan as part of that questline anyway, making the second Pororin NPC easy to hit in the same trip.
Piece 5 — White Bloodwind Leather Boots

NPC: Polan (Chief of Pororin)
Location: Pororin village
Accepted Gifts: Flower Baskets, Horns, Mushrooms

How to reach 100 Trust: Polan also roams the village and is identified by their large red hat. They accept a wider variety of gifts than Rulupee — flower baskets, horns, and mushrooms all work. Mushrooms can be gathered from the surrounding forest areas, making this an easy Trust to build without spending much Silver.
Once Polan’s Trust hits 100, the White Bloodwind Leather Boots are given to you as a direct gift.
Trust Farming Tips
Use the Bunny Mask when gifting. The Rabbit Leather Mask adds +2 Trust to every gift and greeting interaction. Socket a Solidarity Abyss Core into it and that bonus climbs to +5 per action. See our guide on how to get the Rabbit Leather Mask to pick it up first.
Keep Copper Pouches in stock. Light Copper Pouches looted from bandits give +5 Trust per gift and cost almost nothing. Save every one you find rather than opening them for coins. They are the most efficient gift item for most vendor-type NPCs.
Reset your greeting cooldown quickly. Open the map, navigate to the Factions menu, open any faction location, then exit. This resets your greet action so you can cycle through Trust interactions faster in a single session.
Flower baskets go fast. Stefan Lanford and Rulupee only accept flower baskets, and vendors have limited stock. If you are running low, check shop restocks or look for scattered flower pots in the world. Chapter 5 is the best window to stockpile them in bulk.
Do not wait on the Chief Monk. This is the only truly missable piece. Every other NPC can be gifted at your own pace. Max the Chief Monk’s Trust as soon as you reach Chapter 9 — do not save it for later.

How to Customize the White Bloodwind Set
Once you have the full set, consider personalizing it further. The Dyehouse at Greymane Camp lets you apply dyes to Damiane’s armor, her horse armor, and War Robot gear. The White Bloodwind set’s clean black and white palette responds well to dyes — even small color changes can dramatically alter the look. See our guide on how to dye armor and weapons in Crimson Desert for the full dyeing system explained.
You can also hide or show the helmet separately if you prefer Damiane’s face visible in the circlet style. Check our guide on how to hide helmets in Crimson Desert for that option.
