The Executioner of Darkness is one of the most striking armor sets you can find for Damiane in Crimson Desert. It has a dark, commanding look — black plate with gold trim, tied to the lore of House Thorel and the Kingdom of Demeniss. Best of all, you don’t need to defeat any boss to get it. Every piece sits inside a hidden chest waiting to be found.
Before you go hunting, know this upfront: this set has no chest piece. That’s not a bug. It’s intentional. Most players fill that slot with the Light of the Battlefield Plate Armor, which creates a stunning dark-and-gold look that many consider one of Damiane’s best fashion combinations. Executioner of Darkness Armor – All Piece Locations
Executioner of Darkness Plate Cloak
Location: Southwestern Delesyia — coastal alcove near Three Brothers’ Cliff
The cloak is hidden in a small alcove along the coastline. Head to the area just north of Arrowhead Rock, near Three Brothers’ Cliff. Jump off the ledge and glide downward toward the bottom. Once you land, look for the large rock formation closest to the sea. Move along its right side. There’s a tiny alcove tucked into the corner. Walk in and open the chest.

Executioner of Darkness Plate Boots
Location: Just north of the cloak chest — small crevice near a rock spire in the water
After grabbing the cloak, head slightly north. Look for a rock spire sticking out of the water near the coast. Glide toward it and land somewhere near the middle of it. There’s a small crevice hidden there. Go inside and loot the chest for the boots.

Executioner of Darkness Plate Gloves
Location: Bowsprit Cape — hidden rock formation in the water to the west
From the cloak and boots area, head west to Bowsprit Cape. Stand at the cliff edge and look out at the water. You’re looking for a rock formation that has a small flat surface on top. Get onto that rock, then check the crags behind it. In a dark corner, you’ll find a well-hidden hole. Crawl inside and the chest is waiting.
The gloves give a strong attack boost along with passive +0.2 Health per second regeneration and a 10% chance to mine additional ore. That last bonus makes them especially useful if you’re spending time with gathering and crafting.
Executioner of Darkness Plate Helmet
Location: Marni’s Outpost — eastern Gorthak
This one is different from the rest. Marni’s Outpost sits in eastern Gorthak, and it’s the only piece in this set that’s guarded by enemies. The good news is you don’t need to fight your way through. You can sneak in and go straight for the chest. If enemies are alerted and actively searching, they’ll prevent you from opening it. Wait for them to stand down first, or clear enough of them to get breathing room.

Stats Overview
The Executioner of Darkness set delivers solid defense values across all four pieces, with particularly high attack values on the gloves and boots. The cloak stands out with Level 3 Fire Resistance. The helmet passively prevents Daze, which is a great quality-of-life stat when facing harder enemies and bosses.

Fashion Tips — The Missing Chest Piece
Since the set has no dedicated chest piece, this is your chance to get creative. The most popular pairing is the Light of the Battlefield Plate Armor — the gold plate contrasts beautifully with the dark Executioner pieces. Other players mix in the Autumn Banquet armor for a different look.
Don’t forget that Crimson Desert lets you dye your armor at the Dyehouse in Greymane Camp. The Executioner of Darkness pieces are black by default, but with the right dye they can look completely different.
