If you’ve spent time in Crimson Desert looking for secrets, here’s one that’ll get every Assassin’s Creed fan excited. There’s a pair of gloves hidden in the Demeniss region that look almost identical to the iconic Hidden Blade gauntlets from Assassin’s Creed. The blade sits tucked inside the sleeve, right along the wrist — just like the weapon worn by Eivor in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Pearl Abyss never officially confirmed it’s a reference, but come on. It clearly is.
The item is called the Crimson Chaser Chain Gloves, and it’s worth grabbing. Not just for the look — the stats are genuinely solid for the point in the game where you can reach them.
What Are the Crimson Chaser Chain Gloves?
The Crimson Chaser Chain Gloves are a pair of gauntlets with a hidden dagger built into the sleeve. Visually, they’re one of the coolest-looking glove pieces in the game, and they make Kliff look like he just defected from the Brotherhood.
They come with two Abyss Gear slots, already pre-loaded with:
- Defense 3
- Ice Resistance Level 1
This makes them especially useful if you’re heading into cold regions or want some extra defense layered on top. They can also be slotted with your own Abyss Gears by visiting any of the Witches of Pywel.
One important note: these are not mechanically a hidden blade weapon. You can’t trigger a special wrist-blade animation or use them to assassinate in a unique way. Stealth kills still use Kliff’s dagger. The Hidden Blade look is purely visual — but it’s a very good-looking visual.
Where to Find the Crimson Chaser Chain Gloves
The gloves are in the Demeniss region, specifically at the Golden Plains of Elemore Estate.

Here’s the simplest way to navigate there: open your map and find the word “Demeniss.” Look at the letter N in Demeniss — head to the very tip of that N. That’s where the building is. You’re looking for a round, silo-like tower with white walls near a crossroads in the Golden Plains area. There are some barren huts nearby.
If you haven’t unlocked fast travel near Demeniss yet, expect a journey of around 3 km or more from your camp. Unlocking a fast travel point near the city first will save you a lot of time. Check our guide on how to fast travel in Crimson Desert if you’re unsure how to set that up.

How to Get the Crimson Chaser Chain Gloves Step by Step
Step 1 — Reach the Demeniss region. Travel to Demeniss and navigate to the Golden Plains of Elemore Estate. Use the tip of the N in “Demeniss” on your map as your landmark.
Step 2 — Find the round tower. Look for a circular, silo-shaped building with white walls near a crossroads. There are several barren huts around it. You’ll know you’re in the right spot.
Step 3 — Handle the enemies. There are Inquisitor enemies patrolling this area. They’re no joke — being underprepared can get you killed fast. You can either engage them in combat (worth doing since they drop weapons you can sell for silver) or sneak past them if you prefer a quieter approach. Either way, clear enough space to get into the building safely. Brush up on pickpocketing and stealth tactics if you want to move through quietly.
Step 4 — Enter and climb the tower. Go inside the round building. There are no stairs inside. To reach the upper floor, you’ll need to jump and use Force Palm twice to propel yourself up to the first floor height. Grab onto the railing when you’re high enough.
Alternatively, you can use Axiom Force to help yourself up. The key mechanic is the double Force Palm jump — make sure you have it unlocked before making the trip.

Step 5 — Open the treasure chest. Once on the upper floor, look around in the dark interior. The treasure chest is tucked away and easy to miss at first glance. Open it to receive the Crimson Chaser Chain Gloves. They’ll appear in your inventory under your equipment tab. Equip them and enjoy the view.
Crimson Chaser Chain Gloves Stats
The gloves drop at Refinement Level 3, which means they’ve already been partially upgraded. At that level, the base stats are:
- Attack: 16
- Defense: 7 (10 when you include the Defense 3 Abyss Gear bonus)
The Attack stat on gloves in Crimson Desert primarily affects unarmed combat and grappling damage. If you enjoy brawling and using your fists or suplexing enemies, these gloves are actually among the best in the game for that playstyle.
How to Upgrade the Crimson Chaser Chain Gloves
You can refine the gloves further at any blacksmith. There are 10 Refinement levels total, and upgrading them boosts both Attack and Defense significantly.
To refine from Level 3 upward, you’ll need materials including Iron Ores, Thin Hides, Fangs, and Aeserion’s Scale. From Level 5 onward, Abyss Artifacts are also required on top of raw materials. Check our guide on how to reinforce equipment in Crimson Desert for the full breakdown.
To check the exact material requirements before farming, open your inventory, select the gloves, hit Inspect, and click Refinement Information. This shows all ten levels and what each one costs so you can plan your gathering run efficiently.
Is It Worth Getting?
Yes, for a few reasons. First, the look alone makes them worth picking up. If you like building aesthetic sets or doing Assassin’s Creed-themed cosplays with Kliff, these are essential. The visual of a hidden blade in the sleeve is something no other glove in the game replicates.
Second, the stats are actually competitive at the point in the game where you can access Demeniss. 16 Attack and 10 Defense with two Abyss Gear slots is a solid combination — especially if you’re building toward a stealth or assassination playstyle.
