Electrical Components are crafting materials in Crimson Desert used to power advanced Kuku technology. They are described in-game as “devices that supply power to machinery” and are required for several high-value weapons, armor pieces, and utility gear at the Kilnden Workshop. This guide covers both ways to get them, the best farming location, how to pick them up correctly, and what recipes need them.
TL;DR
- Electrical Components drop from large Combat Mechas in southeast Delesyia — specifically around the Blue Thicket area and the bridge.
- You cannot pick them up normally — use Axiom Force to grab them and seal them into your Kuku Pot with Triangle (PS) / Y (Xbox).
- Only the big mechas drop them. Small robots do not.
- After liberating Delesyia, the large mechas stop patrolling. Switch to the Dispatch Mission method instead.
- Go to Marni’s Masterium on the map, open the Missions tab (R1/RB), and start the Electrical Component Production dispatch — gives 1 component every 18 in-game hours.

What Is an Electrical Component in Crimson Desert
The Electrical Component is a Kuku Pot sealed item — it cannot go into your regular inventory. It is salvaged from the internal workings of large mechanical enemies in the Delesyia region. The item is classified as Industrial Salvage in the game’s system, which means it is tied to enemy spawns rather than resource nodes.
You will need Electrical Components to craft some of the most useful late-game Kuku gear, including the Kuku Watcher Pack and the Enhanced Kuku Cooler. Method 1 — Farm Large Combat Mechas in Delesyia (Best Method)
This is the fastest way to get Electrical Components. Large Combat Mechas patrol the roads and faction zones in southeast Delesyia. Only these large mechas drop Electrical Components — the small bipedal robots and dragonfly swarms do not.
Best Farming Location — Blue Thicket and the Southeast Bridge
Head to the southeast corner of Delesyia, specifically the area around Blue Thicket and the bridge connecting the islands in the bottom-right portion of the region. This is just above Marni’s Laboratorium gate.
- The bridge area has a high density of large mechas. You can chain-kill several without travelling far between spawns.
- The large mechas here are often found alone, making them easier to focus down one at a time without getting overwhelmed.
- There is an Abyss Nexus nearby at Marni Mechworks — use it to fast travel in and reset the area between runs.
- Each farming run can yield 3 to 7 Electrical Components depending on enemy spawns.
While farming the large mechas, the smaller robots in the same area also drop Small Batteries, Cogwheels, and Clockwork Insects — so you can gather multiple Kuku crafting materials in a single trip. See our guide on how to get Small Batteries for more on that.
Important — How to Pick Up Electrical Components
This is where most players get stuck. You cannot pick up Electrical Components with a normal item grab. After a large mecha dies, the Electrical Component drops with a glowing electrical animation — it sparks and glows blue on the ground. Easy to spot.
To collect it:
- Use Axiom Force to pull the Electrical Component toward you.
- Then press Triangle (PS) / Y (Xbox) to seal it into your Kuku Pot.
- If you do not have a Kuku Pot equipped, the drop is wasted — you cannot collect it at all.
- Do not walk away immediately after the kill. Look for the grapple prompt on the mecha’s chassis. If you leave the area too quickly, you will miss the harvesting window.
Electrical Components are stored in a special Kuku inventory that is separate from your regular storage slots. You can check your total at any Kuku Pot crafting menu. They do not take up visible inventory space. For help with the Axiom Force mechanic, see our Axiom Force guide.
Before Liberating vs After Liberating Delesyia
There is one critical thing to know: once you fully liberate Delesyia, the large Combat Mechas stop patrolling. After that point, you can no longer farm Electrical Components from combat in the open world. If you want to stock up from combat drops, do it before you finish liberating the region.
If you have already liberated Delesyia, use Method 2 below.
Method 2 — Electrical Component Production Dispatch Mission
This is the only infinitely repeatable method after Delesyia is liberated. It is slower than combat farming but completely passive.
How to Start the Dispatch Mission
- Open your map and find Marni’s Masterium in the southeast of Delesyia.
- You must have visited and liberated Marni’s Masterium first. If you have not done this yet, clear the enemies at the location to unlock it as a Dispatch Node.
- Hover over Marni’s Masterium on the map and press Triangle (PS) / Y (Xbox) to open the site overview.
- Press R1 (PS) / RB (Xbox) to switch to the Missions tab.
- Find and start the “Electrical Component Production” dispatch mission.
- This mission requires 3 available Greymane members. Make sure they are not assigned to your active party or other missions.
Dispatch Mission Output
The Electrical Component Production dispatch takes 18 in-game hours to complete and produces 1 Electrical Component per cycle. This is slow compared to combat farming — especially if you need 10 or more for multiple crafting recipes. Run this dispatch passively in the background while you do other activities in Pywel.
After the 18 hours are up, you will receive a notification. The Electrical Component is delivered directly to your camp storage or Kuku Pot. For more on dispatch missions and managing your camp, see our large scale expeditions guide.
What Are Electrical Components Used For
Electrical Components are required for several advanced Kuku crafting recipes at the Kilnden Workshop. Here are the main ones:
Kuku Watcher Pack
One of the most popular uses. The Kuku Watcher Pack is a combat utility that deploys drones during boss fights and is highly effective for damage output. You need 3 Electrical Components to craft it. See our Kuku Pack farming guide for full crafting details.
Enhanced Kuku Cooler

Kuku Lightning Spear

Other Kuku Gear
Electrical Components are also used in various other advanced Kuku weapons, armor pieces, and utility items including elemental weapon variants and the Kuku Communicative Pack (which summons a holographic trader in the field). The more Kuku recipes you unlock, the more Electrical Components you will need — so farm them early and in bulk before liberating Delesyia.
Tips for Farming Electrical Components Efficiently
- Farm before liberating Delesyia. Once the area is fully liberated, the large mechas disappear. Stock up on at least 10 to 15 components during your first visit to southeast Delesyia.
- Always carry a Kuku Pot. Without it, every Electrical Component drop is wasted. You cannot collect them any other way.
- Use lightning attacks to speed up kills against the large mechas — they are weak to lightning damage.
- Use the Abyss Nexus at Marni Mechworks to fast travel and reset the area between farming runs.
- Start the Dispatch Mission immediately after liberating Marni’s Masterium and keep it running at all times. Even one per 18 hours adds up over time.
- Bring a pet for nearby loot auto-collection. Your Jindo or other companion will pick up the smaller robot drops (Small Batteries, Cogwheels) while you focus on the large mechas and manually seal the Electrical Components. Not yet got a pet? - Check your Kuku inventory at any crafting station. Electrical Components are invisible in your regular inventory but accumulate in a hidden Kuku resource pool visible only in the crafting menu.
