Destiny 2 Equilibrium Dungeon Weapons and Armor – TL;DR
- The Equilibrium dungeon has 6 Legendary weapons and 1 Exotic — the Heirloom Solar Crossbow.
- All 6 Legendary weapons share the Imperial Allegiance origin trait.
- The armor set is called Sage Protector (also called Collective Sage Armor). It synergises with sword builds.
- The Heirloom Exotic only drops from the final boss (Dredgen Sere) — or is guaranteed in Contest Mode.
- Legendary weapons and armor have no weekly lockout. You can farm them endlessly.
- You can increase your Heirloom drop chance by completing specific Equilibrium Triumphs.
- Attuned gear is shared across characters — it can drop from encounters that normally wouldn’t reward it.
The Destiny 2 Equilibrium dungeon weapons and armor are some of the best additions from the Renegades expansion, released on December 13, 2025. This guide covers every weapon, every armor piece, the full per-encounter loot table, god roll perk pools, and the best farming methods for 2026.
How to Access the Equilibrium Dungeon
You need to own the Renegades expansion to play Equilibrium. Your fireteam leader must also progress the introductory pursuit called The Way Between to at least Step 2. Pick that up from Aunor in the Tharsis Outpost Cantina after completing Step 5 of the Renegades pursuit.
The dungeon is not currently in the Featured dungeon rotation. Keep that in mind for Heirloom farming — more on that below.
All Destiny 2 Equilibrium Dungeon Weapons
There are 6 Legendary weapons and 1 Exotic weapon in the Equilibrium loot pool. Every Legendary comes with the Imperial Allegiance origin trait.
Imperial Allegiance — Being near allies increases cooling or charge rate. You also deal more damage while at high heat or low guard energy.
- Zealous Ideal — Solar Auto Rifle
- Bitter End — Arc Machine Gun
- High Tyrant — Void Pulse Rifle
- Voltaic Shade — Arc Scout Rifle
- Conspiracy Honed — Stasis Sniper Rifle
- Sullen Claw — Void Sword
- Heirloom — Solar Exotic Crossbow (Exotic)
The weapon lineup covers Solar, Arc, Void, and Stasis. There is no Strand or Prismatic weapon in this pool as of 2026.
Destiny 2 Equilibrium Weapon Perk Pools

Perk 2: Thermal Atomization, Master of Arms, Headseeker, Frenzy, Withering Gaze, Demoralize, Meganeura

Perk 1: Cooling Baubles, Delicate Tuning, Lone Wolf, Vorpal Weapon, Headstone, Snapshot Sights, Enlightened Action
Perk 2: Thermal Atomization, Box Breathing, Opening Shot, Firefly, Bait and Switch, Firing Line, Moving Target
Best PvE rolls use Headstone + Firing Line or Bait and Switch for boss damage. It is considered one of the best weapons in the dungeon for long-range DPS in 2026.
Sullen Claw — Void Sword God Roll

Perk 1: Eager Edge, Proximity Power, Vorpal Weapon, Relentless Strike, Repulsor Brace, Flash Counter, Impromptu Ammunition
Perk 2: Binary Orbit, Destabilizing Rounds, Sword Logic, Bait and Switch, Frenzy
Sullen Claw is widely considered the best DPS weapon from the Equilibrium dungeon. It pairs naturally with the Sage Protector armor set. Best roll: Relentless Strike + Sword Logic.
If you are running a Praxic Blade build, Sullen Claw is also strong secondary sword. See the Praxic Blade Dark Matter Crystals guide for context.
Heirloom Exotic Crossbow — Full Details
The Heirloom is the Equilibrium dungeon Exotic. It is a Solar Combat Bow that fires high-powered explosive bolts.

Heirloom Exotic Traits
- Big Game Hunter: Aim down sights to overcharge the next bolt. Damage and area of effect increase with each charge level.
- Bolt Thrower: Fires high-powered explosive bolts. Strong against Unstoppable Champions.
Heirloom Catalyst
The Heirloom Catalyst adds: Direct hits with charged shots scorch the target. This weapon deals more damage against scorched targets.
That makes Heirloom a solid pick on Solar builds. The anti-Unstoppable stun is also useful for Master difficulty runs.
You can read the full Heirloom Exotic Crossbow guide for a complete breakdown.
How to Get Heirloom in Destiny 2
Heirloom is guaranteed during Contest Mode. Outside of Contest, it drops randomly from the final boss encounter (Dredgen Sere).
Because Equilibrium is not in the Featured dungeon rotation, the Heirloom Exotic can only drop once per character per week. That means a maximum of 3 chances per week across three characters.
How to Increase Heirloom Drop Rate
Completing specific Equilibrium Triumphs increases your initial Heirloom drop chance. These include:
- Complete all encounters with three or more feats active
- Complete all encounters with the Phase Race feat active
- Complete all encounters with the Encounter Challenges feat active
- Complete all encounters with the Cutthroat Combat feat active
- Complete all encounters with the Token Enabled feat active
- Complete all encounters with the Battalions feat active
- Find all collectibles in Equilibrium
- Complete the dungeon as a full fireteam without anyone dying
Each completed Triumph stacks your base drop chance higher before your first Heirloom drop. Once you earn Heirloom on a character, the Triumph bonuses reset for your next weekly attempt.
For collectible locations, see the Equilibrium dungeon relic locations guide.
Destiny 2 Equilibrium Armor Set — Sage Protector
The Equilibrium dungeon armor set is called Sage Protector (sometimes referred to as the Collective Sage Armor). It is available for all three classes — Warlock, Hunter, and Titan.
The set has a clean, blade-focused design themed around the Praxic Order.
Sage Protector Armor Set Bonuses
- 2-Piece — Combat Meditation: Sword hits return grenade and class energy. Bonus energy is granted if Blade Focus is active.
- 4-Piece — Blade Focus: Briefly guard with a Sword to ready Blade Focus. While active, sword hits increase sword damage and lunge distance for a moderate duration.
This is one of the best dungeon armor sets for sword-centric builds. The 4-piece bonus in particular makes Sullen Claw much stronger. It also makes Praxic Blade builds significantly more efficient.
For more on how armor set bonuses work across Destiny 2 activities, check out the armor set bonuses Monument of Triumph guide.
Equilibrium Loot Table — What Drops from Each Encounter
The dungeon has three major encounters. Each one drops a specific subset of weapons and armor. The final encounter can drop everything.
Encounter 1 — Board the Harvester
This is the first encounter. You fight Cabal Apprentices and Behemoths while boarding a Harvester ship.
- Zealous Ideal (Solar Auto Rifle)
- Legendary Chest Armor
- Legendary Leg Armor
Encounter 2 — Harrow (First Boss)
Harrow is the first proper boss fight. The team usually splits to manage adds and control the arena while opening damage windows.
- Bitter End (Arc Machine Gun)
- Voltaic Shade (Arc Scout Rifle)
- Conspiracy Honed (Stasis Sniper Rifle)
- Legendary Class Item
- Legendary Gauntlets
- Legendary Helmet
Encounter 3 — Dredgen Sere (Final Boss)
The last fight involves mechanics across two realms. This is the only place the Heirloom Exotic can drop outside of Contest Mode.
- Heirloom (Solar Exotic Crossbow) — final boss only
- High Tyrant (Void Pulse Rifle)
- Sullen Claw (Void Sword)
- All Legendary weapons and armor from previous encounters can also drop here
If you want Sullen Claw or High Tyrant, farm the Dredgen Sere encounter checkpoint. If you want Conspiracy Honed, target the Harrow encounter instead.
How to Farm Equilibrium Dungeon Weapons in 2026
Legendary weapons and armor from Equilibrium have no weekly lockout. You can farm them as many times as you want in a single week.
Checkpoint Farming Method
- Run the dungeon on your first character to the encounter you want to farm.
- Start the encounter, then intentionally wipe without completing it.
- Switch to a second character that has not cleared the dungeon and rejoin the fireteam.
- Wipe again to save the checkpoint on that second character.
- Launch the dungeon using the character holding the checkpoint.
- Swap back to your main character and rejoin the instance.
- Repeat the encounter for as many drops as you need.
Attuned Gear — Cross-Character Sharing
Attuned gear in Equilibrium is shared across characters. This means attuned weapons can drop from encounters that wouldn’t normally reward them. If you attune a weapon and your character completes any encounter, that weapon has a chance to drop even outside its normal encounter slot.
Destiny 2 Equilibrium Dungeon Weapons — Worth Farming?
Yes. The Equilibrium loot pool is stronger than most recent dungeons in terms of variety. You get weapons across four damage types and six archetypes. The no-lockout farming on Legendaries is also a big plus.
The highlights in 2026 are:
- Sullen Claw — Top-tier DPS sword, especially with the Sage Protector 4-piece bonus.
- Conspiracy Honed — Excellent Stasis sniper for both boss damage and add clear.
- Voltaic Shade — One of the few Arc scouts with access to Voltshot.
- Heirloom — Situationally powerful, especially for anti-Unstoppable coverage on Solar builds.
If you are working toward the Immortal Title, completing Equilibrium Triumphs is part of the requirements. Check the Immortal Title Monument of Triumph guide for the full list.
For exotic weapon farming more broadly, the Exotic Orders guide covers additional methods in 2026. You can also check where Xur is in Destiny 2 this week for any dungeon-adjacent exotic rotations.
