Destiny 2: How to Score a Goal in the Hidden Net (GOOOAAAALLL Triumph Guide)

Destiny 2 hidden net goal guide for the GOOOAAAALLL Triumph. Find the soccer ball near Saint-14, kick it to the Future War Cult room, and score for Legendary Marks.

The Destiny 2 hidden net goal is part of the GOOOAAAALLL!!! Triumph added in Monument of Triumph in 2026. You need to kick the soccer ball in the Tower Hangar into a secret net — not the visible goals on the pitch. Most players try the wrong nets first. This guide shows you exactly where the hidden net is and how to get the ball there without losing it.

  • The hidden net is inside the old Future War Cult room in the Tower Hangar, not the visible green barriers on the soccer pitch
  • The soccer ball spawns near Saint-14 in the center of the Hangar
  • The net is marked by a glowing green barrier at the entrance of the Future War Cult room
  • Use Saint-14 as your landmark — left/right directions in other guides vary by camera angle
  • Kick the ball gently using short pushes — hard kicks send it into awkward spots or off ledges
  • The ball despawns after a set number of kicks — if it disappears, fast travel away and return to the Tower
  • Scoring unlocks the GOOOAAAALLL!!! Triumph and rewards 10 Legendary Marks

Where to Find the Soccer Ball in the Tower Hangar

From your Tower spawn point, follow the main path into the Hangar. Use Saint-14 as your anchor — walk toward him. The soccer ball sits in the center of the room near Saint-14, in front of the small soccer pitch.

You’ll see a carpet-covered pitch with two glowing green barriers on the left and right sides. Scoreboards hang above them. These are not the hidden net. Scoring into these barriers does nothing for the Triumph.

Many players spend time kicking the ball into these side barriers and assume the Triumph is broken. It isn’t. You’re just in the wrong place.

Where the Hidden Net Is in Destiny 2

The hidden net is inside the old Future War Cult faction room, up the white stairs that branch off from the Hangar area. This room is the large windowed space overlooking the Hangar floor. Lakshmi-2 used to stand here before the faction was retired from the Tower.

The net itself is marked by a glowing green barrier at the room’s entrance. It looks similar to the side barriers on the soccer pitch, which is why players confuse them.

One important thing to know: you can walk through the green barrier. It’s not a solid wall. It’s decorative — placed there specifically to mark the net. Walk through it freely to confirm you’re in the right spot before you start pushing the ball up.

Stand near the soccer ball next to Saint-14. Walk into the ball gently to start moving it. Don’t sprint into it. The ball is reactive and a hard kick sends it bouncing far off course or over a ledge.

From the pitch, push the ball back toward the Tower entrance side of the Hangar. Look for the white stairs on your right as you face away from Saint-14. These stairs lead up and into the Future War Cult room. That’s your route.

Guide the ball up the stairs using light touches. Keep nudging it forward. Take corners slowly. The ball will bounce off walls, which is fine — just redirect it back toward the stairs and continue.

Once you’re inside the Future War Cult room, the green barrier is right at the entrance in front of you. Give the ball one more push through the green light barrier. The moment it crosses the barrier, the Triumph completes instantly. Fireworks don’t go off like the Tower ball puzzle — the Triumph just pops on your screen.

What If the Ball Disappears or Gets Stuck

The soccer ball has a limited number of kicks before it despawns. If you lose the ball mid-route or it vanishes, do the following:

  • Open your map and fast travel to any other destination — orbit counts
  • Return to the Tower and load back into the Hangar
  • The ball respawns near Saint-14 at its starting position

If the ball gets stuck in a corner or wedged against geometry and you can’t move it, the same fix applies. Leave the Tower and come back. There’s no penalty for resetting — the ball always returns to its spawn point near Saint-14.

Plan your route before you start kicking. Walking the path first — from the pitch to the Future War Cult stairs — helps you visualize the turns so you don’t steer the ball the wrong way mid-attempt.

Destiny 2 GOOOAAAALLL Triumph — Reward and Where to Spend It

Completing the GOOOAAAALLL!!! Triumph gives you 10 Legendary Marks. After scoring, open your Journey page and manually claim the completed challenge — the Marks don’t drop automatically.

Legendary Marks are spent at the Monument of Guardian Tenets in the Tower Courtyard. The four Tenet vendors — Bravery, Devotion, Sacrifice, and Death — sell armor ornaments, Exotic weapons, Sparrows, Skimmers, ships, Ghost shells, shaders, and engrams. Ten Marks won’t go far on their own, but this Triumph is one of the fastest to complete. Stack it with other Tower challenges in a single session to build up your Marks budget.

For more on Legendary Marks and how they connect to the Monument of Triumph reward economy, our Destiny 2 Chronologs guide covers the full currency system including Chronologs and how both currencies work together.

Tips for the Destiny 2 Hidden Net Goal

Ignore the pitch goals entirely. The side barriers on the soccer carpet do nothing. Don’t waste time trying to make them trigger. Head straight for the Future War Cult stairs.

Use Saint-14 as your starting landmark, not left/right directions. Different guides give conflicting directions because left and right change depending on where your camera is pointing when you load in. Find Saint-14 and orient yourself from there.

Short kicks only. The ball is bouncier than it looks. Small nudges keep it on track. Long sprinting kicks send it flying and make it nearly impossible to recover without resetting.

The green barrier is not a wall. Some players stop before it thinking they’re blocked. Walk through it freely. It’s just the visual net marker.

The ball is instanced to you. Other players in your Tower instance can see the ball but they can’t affect your attempt. You don’t need to worry about other Guardians interfering — unlike the Tower ball puzzle where anyone can kick it.

Do this early in your Monument of Triumph session. It takes under three minutes once you know the route. The 10 Legendary Marks it rewards are a good starting budget for the Tenet vendors. Pair it with other quick Tower Triumphs for an efficient first run.
