Aquatic Pal Fluids in Palworld are one of those resources you will need constantly from mid-game all the way to the end. They go into Cement, Hot Springs, Cryogenic Coolant, saddles, medicines, and more. The demand never really stops — every time you think you have enough, another crafting recipe asks for more. This guide covers every reliable way to farm them, the best locations to hit, and how to set up a passive supply so you are never caught short.
TL;DR — How to Get Aquatic Pal Fluids Fast
- Defeat or capture any Water-type Pal — they all drop Aquatic Pal Fluids.
- Best early spot: the beach west of the Hill of Beginnings near the giant fish fossil. Farm Celaray here.
- Best all-round spot: Sea Breeze Archipelago Castaway Beach at coordinates -99, -711. Has a fast travel point.
- Best bulk spot: Azurobe Hill — dense Celaray and Kelpsea spawns, 50+ fluids per run.
- Dungeon loop: Penking dungeon at 113, -351 — farm the Pengullet guards, not the boss.
- Passive method: assign Kelpsea to your Ranch. It produces Aquatic Pal Fluids automatically.
- Bring an Electric Pal — they deal extra damage to Water-types and speed up farming runs.
- Can also be bought from Wandering Merchants for 300 Gold each in a pinch.
What Are Aquatic Pal Fluids in Palworld?
Aquatic Pal Fluids are a Water-element crafting material dropped by Water-type Pals when you defeat or capture them. They are described in-game simply as body fluids taken from a Pal, which is exactly what they are. You cannot craft them from other materials, and you cannot find them in the environment. The only ways to get them are from Water-type Pals directly, through Kelpsea at your Ranch, or by buying them from Wandering Merchants.
They are needed across a huge number of crafting recipes. Cement alone makes them a permanent staple — you will be crafting Cement regularly for structures, higher-tier Pal Spheres, and base upgrades throughout the entire game. On top of that, almost every medicine, mount saddle, and mid-game consumable needs them too.
Everything You Can Craft with Aquatic Pal Fluids
Here is why these fluids matter so much. The list of things they go into is long and spans every stage of the game.
Base Structures
- Cement — 50 Stone + 1 Bone + 1 Aquatic Pal Fluid = 10 Cement. Used for Production Assembly Lines, Improved Furnaces, and high-tier Pal Spheres.
- Hot Spring — Restores Pal sanity at your base. Essential for keeping your workforce productive.
- Witch Cauldron — Required for advanced medicine crafting.
- Water Fountain — Decorative base structure.
- Tomato and Lettuce Plantations — Needed to clear and maintain these crop plots.
Gear and Mounts
- Celaray’s Gloves
- Killamari Primo’s Gloves

Memory Wiping Medicine alone requires 50 Aquatic Pal Fluids per craft — that is the item you use to respec all your stat points. See our full guide on Palworld 1.0 best stats to level up first for context on why you might need to respec.
Which Pals Drop Aquatic Pal Fluids
Any Water-type Pal can drop Aquatic Pal Fluids when defeated or captured. Some drop them reliably, others less so. Here are the main ones to target.
Early Game Drops
- Celaray — Drops 1 to 3 Aquatic Pal Fluids. Flies low over water. Easy to find near coastlines from the start of the game.
- Pengullet — Common near beaches and the starting area. Reliable early drop.
- Fuack — Small Water Pal found near rivers and shallow water.
- Teafant — Found near the Eastern Wild Island, Fort Ruins, and the Sea Breeze Archipelago. Spawns in clusters.
- Kelpsea — Important for passive Ranch farming. Also drops fluids in the wild.
- Croajiro — Found in water areas in the early zones.
Mid and Late Game Drops
- Gobfin — Spawns in large groups at Gobfin’s Turf. Aggressive and great for AoE clearing.
- Azurobe — Drops fluids but does not count as a reliable drop according to the wiki. Confirm at the area itself.
- Surfent — Mid-game ocean Pal.
- Jormuntide — Late-game Water Pal with large fluid drops.
- Killamari and Killamari Primo — Water-type, drops fluids.
- Turtacle and Turtacle Terra — Both drop Aquatic Pal Fluids.
- Gloopie and Gloopie Primo — New in 1.0, Water-type, drops fluids.
- Amione — New Water Pal in 1.0, drops fluids.
- Jelliette and Jellroy — Water-types, fluid drops.
- Munchill and Finsider — Later game Water Pals.
- Suzaku Aqua — High-level Water legendary, large drop.
Note: Penking, Elphidran Aqua, Broncherry Aqua, and Elaxaurus do NOT drop Aquatic Pal Fluids despite being Water-associated Pals. Do not waste time farming them for fluids.
Best Locations to Farm Aquatic Pal Fluids

1. Celaray Beach — Best Early Game Spot
The beach west of the Hill of Beginnings, near the giant fish fossil, is the best early-game farming location for Aquatic Pal Fluids. It is packed with Celarays that spawn in large numbers, and each one drops 1 to 3 fluids per kill. You can loop the area in under two minutes and come away with 20 to 30 fluids per run, which is more than enough for your first batches of Cement and a Hot Spring.
Bring a flying Pal like Nitewing when farming here so you can chase Celarays over water without getting bogged down. Better yet, bring an Electric Pal as your combat partner — Electric damage is super effective against Water-types and will speed up every kill significantly. Look for Sparkit near the Small Settlement or Univolt in the northwestern cliffs as Electric options early on.
Coordinates: Head due west from the Plateau of Beginnings fast travel point until you hit the coast.
2. Sea Breeze Archipelago Castaway Beach — Best All-Round Farming Spot
This is the most recommended farming location in the community and for good reason. It has its own fast travel point, which means you can teleport directly to it from your base, farm a full loop of Pengullet and Celaray along the shore, then teleport back to drop off your loot and repair gear — all within a few minutes.
The density of Water Pals here is high and the terrain is flat, making loops quick and consistent. This is the spot to come back to every time you run low on Aquatic Pal Fluids in the mid-game.
Coordinates: -99, -711 — Sea Breeze Archipelago Castaway Beach fast travel point.
3. Grassy Behemoth Hills Beach — Strong Early Option
Follow the road from the starting area to the Grassy Behemoth Hills waypoint, then continue west to the beach. At around coordinates 116, -496, you will find Pengullet, Teafant, and Celaray all in the same area. Three different Water Pal types in one spot means fast clearing and good fluid yield per run. It is close enough to the starting area to be accessible very early, making it a reliable backup if you cannot reach the Castaway Beach location yet.
4. Azurobe Hill — Best Bulk Farming Spot
Azurobe Hill is the community favourite for raw volume. A single lap around the area at coordinates 150, -200 can yield 50 or more Aquatic Pal Fluids thanks to the high density of Kelpsea and Celaray clustered in one small zone. It is not the most beginner-friendly location since the Pals here are stronger, but once you have a decent combat Pal team it becomes the fastest active farm in the game.
Fly a swift mount back and forth along the riverbank, clear everything Water-type you see, and then leave the area to trigger a respawn before looping back. With a good Electric Pal and high carry weight, a single Azurobe Hill run can supply enough fluids for multiple Cement batches at once.
5. Penking Dungeon Loop — Consistent Repeatable Farm
The Alpha Penking dungeon near the Sealed Realm of the Frozen Wings fast travel point contains multiple Pengullet guards inside alongside the boss. These Pengullets drop Aquatic Pal Fluids and respawn every time you exit and re-enter the dungeon.
The important rule here: do not kill the Penking boss. If you clear the dungeon boss, the Pengullet guards stop spawning. Farm the small Pengullets only, then exit and enter again. This gives you a consistent, repeatable loop for fluids with no wait for open-world respawns.
Coordinates: 113, -351 — Fast travel to Sealed Realm of the Frozen Wings.
6. Gobfin’s Turf — Best Mid-Game Aggressive Farm
Gobfin’s Turf, accessible via the Gobfin’s Turf fast travel point, is filled with Gobfins that spawn in dense, aggressive groups. They swarm toward you which makes AoE attacks extremely effective. Clear a pack, collect the drops, move to the next group. The fluid yield per minute here is very high once you have strong enough combat Pals to clear them quickly.
The area also contains treasure chests and Bone drops, making it a good multi-resource farming route if you need materials for several things at once.
Passive Method — Kelpsea Ranch Farming
Active farming is fast but requires you to be present. The passive method does not. Assign Kelpsea to your Ranch and it will produce Aquatic Pal Fluids automatically in the background while you explore, fight bosses, or work on other projects.
The output is slower than active farming but it never stops. Set it up on day one and by the time you need large amounts of Aquatic Pal Fluids for Cement runs in the mid-game, you will already have a stockpile waiting. A Transporter Pal assigned to your base will automatically move the fluids from the Ranch into your storage chest, removing the need to manually collect them.
To maximise the Ranch output, keep Kelpsea’s level as high as possible and make sure it is always fed and rested. A well-fed Kelpsea at your base produces more over time than a neglected one. Build a Hot Spring at your base to keep your Pals’ sanity up — which, fittingly, also requires Aquatic Pal Fluids to build. For help setting up Pals at your base efficiently, see our guide on how to assign Pals to work in Palworld.
Where to find Kelpsea: common spawns near the shore next to the Sealed Realm of the Frozen Wings fast travel point, around the same location as the Penking dungeon. Catch several for your Ranch and always keep a few in reserve.

Boost Your Drop Rate with Orserk
Orserk is an Electric and Dragon-type Pal with a partner skill called Ferocious Thunder Dragon. When Orserk is in your active party, Water Pals drop more items — including Aquatic Pal Fluids — when defeated. This applies to every Water Pal you fight, at every location.
If you have access to Orserk in the mid to late game, bring it on every Aquatic Pal Fluids farming run. You will notice the yield jump noticeably per kill. You can also upgrade Orserk’s partner skill at the Pal Essence Condenser to increase the boost even further.
Even without Orserk, having any Electric Pal in your party for type advantage speeds up kills and means more fluids per minute just from clearing faster.
Buying Aquatic Pal Fluids from Merchants
Wandering Merchants scattered across the Palpagos Islands sell Aquatic Pal Fluids for 300 Gold Coins each. This is not a primary farming method since the cost adds up fast and merchant stock is limited. But it is useful as a quick top-up when you are close to finishing a big crafting project and just need a few more units to complete it.
Do not sell Aquatic Pal Fluids for quick Gold early in the game. You will need them in much larger quantities later and the Gold you earn from selling them is never worth the grind to get them back.
Tips for Faster Aquatic Pal Fluids Farming
- Always bring an Electric Pal. Electric deals bonus damage to Water-types, cutting kill times and speeding up every run.
- Fly to farming spots. A Nitewing or other flying mount lets you chase Celarays over water without slowing down. Get your flying mount unlocked at Technology Level 15. See our guide on best starting Pals in Palworld 1.0 for early mount options.
- Stack both active and passive farming. Set up a Kelpsea Ranch for the background trickle and still do active runs at Celaray Beach or Castaway Beach whenever you need a bulk amount fast. Do not rely on just one method.
- Max your carry weight before long runs. Farming a dense spot like Azurobe Hill only pays off if you can actually carry the loot home. See our guide on Palworld 1.0 best stats to level up first for why Weight is the most important early stat.
- Do not kill Penking in the dungeon loop. Kill only the Pengullet guards and exit. This keeps the loop repeatable without waiting for full respawns.
- Use the Pal Sphere aim counter. When you aim at a Pal for catching instead of killing, the XP bonus still triggers for the first 5 catches. Catching Water Pals instead of just killing them means you get fluids AND extra experience.
- Drop a map marker at Azurobe Hill. Once you can reach it, mark the spot. It becomes the go-to farm for large fluid orders and you will want to find it fast when the need arises.

Frequently Asked Questions
What drops Aquatic Pal Fluids in Palworld?
Aquatic Pal Fluids drop from Water-type Pals when you defeat or capture them. The best common sources are Celaray, Pengullet, Kelpsea, Gobfin, Fuack, and Teafant. Kelpsea also produces them passively when assigned to a Ranch at your base.
What is the fastest way to farm Aquatic Pal Fluids in Palworld?
The fastest active method is running laps at Azurobe Hill, which has a dense cluster of Kelpsea and Celaray in a small area. A single run can net 50 or more fluids. For a quick and accessible early-game option, the Celaray beach west of the Hill of Beginnings is the best starting spot. Bring an Electric Pal for faster kills.
Can you passively farm Aquatic Pal Fluids in Palworld?
Yes. Assign Kelpsea to your Ranch and it will produce Aquatic Pal Fluids automatically over time. The output is slower than active farming but it runs in the background while you do other things. Set it up as early as possible so the supply builds up passively throughout your playthrough.
Where can I buy Aquatic Pal Fluids in Palworld?
Wandering Merchants sell Aquatic Pal Fluids for 300 Gold Coins each. This is not cost-effective as your main supply method but it works as a quick top-up when you are just short on a recipe. Do not sell your fluids for Gold early on — you will need them in bulk for Cement and Memory Wiping Medicine later.
What is Aquatic Pal Fluids used for in Palworld?
They are used in a huge range of recipes. The most important is Cement, which gates high-tier Pal Spheres and advanced base structures. They are also needed for the Hot Spring, Cryogenic Coolant, Mount Saddles (Surfent, Azurobe, Jormuntide, and more), Memory Wiping Medicine, various recovery medicines, Missile Ammo, and Water Grenades.
Does Penking drop Aquatic Pal Fluids in Palworld?
No. Penking does not drop Aquatic Pal Fluids despite being associated with Water Pals. In the Penking dungeon, target the small Pengullet guards instead — they do drop fluids. Do not kill the Penking Alpha boss or the guards will stop spawning, ending your loop.
