    Lullaby Hills Locations

    TL;DR

    • Lullaby Hills is the final region of The Sift and the last zone in the main campaign, recommended at level 42.
    • The main quest here is The Final Souldown — a three-boss gauntlet: Redstone Monstrosity, Supreme Evoker, and Monstrous Opus.
    • Redstone Monstrosity has 2,400 HP and is weak to Frost (+50% damage). Resist using Fire builds here.
    • Monstrous Opus is the true final boss — 2,000 HP and a Soul Harvester attack that hits for 90 damage. Dodge-roll it.
    • Four side quests unlock after the main story: A Friend till the End, Lonesome in Lullaby Hills, The Redstone Monstrosity Revived, and The Final Souldown Encore.
    • The Final Souldown Encore first clear rewards Sift Sickles, Harp Crossbow, and the full Soul Corruptor armor set.
    • Lullaby Hills has 11 Unique weapons and 16 Unique armor pieces in its loot pool. Save full healing potions for Monstrous Opus.

What Is Lullaby Hills in Minecraft Dungeons 2?

Lullaby Hills is the third and final region of The Sift. It is the last zone in the entire main story campaign of Minecraft Dungeons 2. If Singer’s Meadow is your arrival into this dimension and Humbler Huskland is the mid-game push, Lullaby Hills is where everything ends.

The story context sets the stakes clearly: the Illagers have pushed deep into The Sift, opened a portal back to the Overworld, and are actively draining the dimension’s souly ichor — its lifeblood. You come to Lullaby Hills to stop that from happening. What follows is the longest boss sequence in the game.

The region is recommended at level 42. Its loot pool includes 16 mob types, 36 items, and some of the most powerful Unique gear in the game. Two minecart stations — Illager Stronghold and a second station — connect the region. There is also a Soul Storm site and a secret talisman chest.

For context on the zones that lead here, see our Singer’s Meadow guide and our The Sift guide.

    Lullaby Hills Locations

    How to Reach Lullaby Hills

You reach Lullaby Hills by completing the main story through Humbler Huskland. The quest chain goes: Wrath of the Sculkers (fight the Monarch in Humbler Huskland) → the quest opens a passage to Lullaby Hills → speak with the Echo Golem and clear an ambush → The Final Souldown begins. You cannot skip straight to Lullaby Hills on a first playthrough. The path is linear until Wrath of the Sculkers is done.

Once you have visited Lullaby Hills for the first time, you can return freely using the minecart station network from anywhere in The Sift. The region is always available for side quests and boss rematches after the story is cleared.

    Lullaby Hills Locations

Lullaby Hills has two named sub-areas accessible by minecart:

    • Illager Stronghold — the main fortress structure in Lullaby Hills; setting for both the main quest boss sequence and the Lonesome in Lullaby Hills side quest; contains multiple floors, a chasm, ramparts, and a portal deep inside
    • Lullaby Hilltop — the upper area you escort the Echo Golem to during The Final Souldown

The Emerald of Good Fortune talisman is also found in this region inside a talisman chest. It grants additional Emeralds from defeated enemies. Worth grabbing as soon as you reach the area.

    All Quests in Lullaby Hills

Main Quest 15 — The Final Souldown

The Final Souldown is the 15th and last main quest of Minecraft Dungeons 2. It is the longest boss sequence in the game, with 32 objectives and three boss fights. The quest is technically listed under Humbler Huskland but plays out primarily in Lullaby Hills. Recommended level is 36 on entry but the full boss gauntlet scales to the level 42 zone. First-time completion rewards the Emerald Hammer, plus the full Humbler armor set (Antenna, Carapace, Greaves, Tarsi). It also unlocks A Friend till the End, The Final Souldown Encore, and The Redstone Monstrosity Revived.

    The Final Souldown Walkthrough

The quest opens with you searching for Echo Golems in Lullaby Hills. You investigate the area, find three Tuners, and use a musical gate. Then you escort an Echo Golem toward Lullaby Hilltop, clear an Illager arena fight, and speak with a Scared Golem who gives you a Soul Block to place.

From there you find a way across the chasm by opening a gate, then face the first boss — the Redstone Monstrosity — in an arena on the other side. After beating it, you cross the chasm again and storm the Illager Stronghold. You climb the ramparts, clear them, survive an ambush, cross a gap, and reach a portal deep inside.

Through the portal you follow the ichor pipes and investigate the experiment site, where the Supreme Evoker is the next boss. After defeating it, you wait for the objective to change — the quest does not end there. The Monstrous Opus then spawns for the true final boss fight. Defeating it and collecting the Soul Block that drops completes the main campaign.

Important tip: Do not spend all your healing potion or defensive artifact uses on the Redstone Monstrosity or Supreme Evoker. Save them for the Monstrous Opus. It is the longest of the three fights and has the most dangerous attacks. Entering it fully depleted will almost always lead to a failed run.

Side Quest — A Friend till the End

This quest is given by the Echo Golem in Lullaby Hills and unlocks after completing The Final Souldown. The reward is Prickle’s Mark, the talisman that summons the Prickle companion. To complete it, you destroy three Illager machines harming The Sift across Lullaby Hills, then return to the Echo Golem. Prickle is a strong companion for endgame content — the quest is short and the payoff is worth doing immediately after the story is done. This quest unlocks Lonesome in Lullaby Hills on completion.

Side Quest — Lonesome in Lullaby Hills

This quest is also given by the Echo Golem and unlocks after A Friend till the End. The reward is the Lullaby Blade — one of the best soul build weapons in the entire game. It applies the Soulsick status on hit, which deals soul damage over time. This weapon alone makes the quest worth prioritizing.

To complete it, travel to the Illager Stronghold and recover four stolen Soul Blocks. The first three are found across the stronghold as you fight through groups of enemies and ambushes. The fourth is locked behind the Redstone Monstrosity boss fight inside the inner area of the stronghold — you collect it after defeating the boss. Bring the blocks back to the Echo Golem and place them on the pedestals to finish the quest.

One common sticking point: the objective counter reads 3/4 before you enter the inner area. Players sometimes try to return early. Do not — keep following the quest marker into the boss area. The fourth block only appears after the Redstone Monstrosity is down.

Side Quest — The Redstone Monstrosity Revived

This is the Redstone Monstrosity boss rematch quest, given by the Boss Totem in Lullaby Hills after The Final Souldown is complete. It is a two-objective repeatable quest — enter the arena and defeat the Redstone Monstrosity.

The first clear rewards one item from a pool of seven artifact-type drops (Redstone Mine Launcher, Flaming Quiver, Cinder Scepter, Pouch of Ember, Firework Arrow, Blaze Bangle, Creeper Candle), plus the Redstone Wrecker Unique melee weapon, plus one piece of the Monstrosity armor set, plus two Special items from Lullaby Hills’ loot pool. Repeat runs give one Special item from the loot pool per clear. This is the only source of the full Monstrosity Unique armor set.

Side Quest — The Final Souldown Encore

The Final Souldown Encore is the replayable version of the final boss sequence, available after completing The Final Souldown. It cuts straight to the boss fights — four objectives, two boss arenas (Supreme Evoker then Monstrous Opus). There is no escort section or Redstone Monstrosity gate fight. You read the incantation at the altar to trigger the Supreme Evoker and the sequence begins.

The first clear of this quest is the most reward-dense single event in the game: it drops the Sift Sickles, Harp Crossbow, Soul Harvester, and the full Soul Corruptor armor set (Mask, Duster, Sash, Sandals). Repeat runs continue pulling from Lullaby Hills’ loot pool and Monstrous Opus’s item drops. This is the best endgame farming loop in Lullaby Hills.

    Bosses in Lullaby Hills

    Redstone Monstrosity

The Redstone Monstrosity is the first boss of The Final Souldown gauntlet. It is the heaviest hitter in terms of total health, but has a slower pace than the final boss that follows.

    • Health: 2,400 (scales to 4,800 with two players; 6,720 with three; 8,640 with four)
    • Poise: 1,200
    • Hardest hit: 25 (Charge)
    • Weak to: Frost (+50% damage)
    • Resists: Fire and Explosion

The Redstone Monstrosity uses a ground-slam melee attack, a charge with a follow-up hit, projectile barrages you dodge by moving sideways rather than straight back, and Redstone Cube summons that spawn around it periodically. Move out of the glowing orange rune circle during the fight — that is where area attacks land. Deal with Redstone Cubes promptly; they distract you at the worst moments and deal chip damage that adds up over a long fight.

Frost is your weapon here. The boss resists Fire entirely, so fire enchantments and fire weapons are actively penalized. Frost weapons, Frost enchantments, or anything that applies freezing effects deal 50% more damage. This is the opposite of the Sculk Monstrosity fight, so swap your loadout if you were running a fire build up to this point.

    The Supreme Evoker (Act 2)

The Supreme Evoker appears for the second time in The Final Souldown, using the same kit it had in the Rainy Plains encounter. It has 1,000 HP and no specific weakness or resistance. The fight is straightforward compared to the two Monstrosities — treat it as a damage sponge with two primary attacks to avoid. The real challenge is that you face it mid-gauntlet with reduced resources from the Redstone Monstrosity fight. Keep your dodge and healing available for what comes next.

Monstrous Opus — The True Final Boss

Monstrous Opus is the final boss of Minecraft Dungeons 2. It spawns immediately after the Supreme Evoker is defeated, so there is no break between them. This boss moves at the fastest speed of any boss in the game (movement speed 800), so you cannot outrun it on foot.

    • Health: 2,000
    • Poise: 1,000
    • Hardest hit: 90 (Soul Harvester AOE) — the biggest single attack of any boss in the entire game
    • No weakness, no resistance
    • Status it applies: Burned
    • Unique chance per drop: 16.7%

The Monstrous Opus has six attacks: a multi-hit melee combo (12 damage), an area melee event (10 damage), a ranged three-projectile attack (18 damage) that leaves a burning trail on the ground, a 360-degree projectile spread (10 damage each), and a ground-hazard area slam. The sixth and most dangerous is the Soul Harvester AOE — a soul damage area attack that deals 90 damage. That is more than double any other hit in the fight and the highest single attack value of any boss in the game.

Everything else the Opus does is manageable with normal movement. The Soul Harvester is the one attack you must dodge-roll through. Learn its wind-up and save your dodge for it. Everything else is relatively low damage by comparison. The boss applies Burned with some of its ranged attacks, so gear with burn resistance helps on repeat farming runs.

Monstrous Opus drops are guaranteed to have no Common rarity items, giving every drop a 33.3% chance of Special and 16.7% chance of Unique. Each kill of this boss in the Encore is a strong loot roll.

Tips for Lullaby Hills and Endgame Farming

    • Save your healing potion for Monstrous Opus, not the Redstone Monstrosity. The Final Souldown runs all three bosses back-to-back with no full heal in between. Burn through the Redstone Monstrosity with Frost damage and keep your resources for the final fight.
    • Swap to a Frost build for the Redstone Monstrosity. It resists Fire and Explosion, and takes 50% extra from Frost. A fire-heavy build that worked on the Sculk Monstrosity will underperform here. See our blacksmithing guide and all enchantments guide for Frost options.
    • Dodge-roll the Soul Harvester AOE. That is the only attack from Monstrous Opus that can one-shot you at standard health levels. Every other attack it does is manageable without a roll. Save the dodge for that one move.
    • Run The Final Souldown Encore first, every session. It is four quick objectives with a boss that drops guaranteed high-quality loot and has a 16.7% Unique chance per item. The first clear is mandatory for the Soul Corruptor set — after that, every repeat is an efficient Unique farming loop.
    • Check the Sift Tide before starting the Encore. The Supreme Evoker and Monstrous Opus fights are much easier during Thrive tide. Faster soul regen and shorter artifact cooldowns make a real difference in back-to-back boss fights with no rest between them. During Endure, play extra conservatively — stronger mobs spawn and passive soul regen stops.
    • Do the Lonesome in Lullaby Hills quest immediately after A Friend till the End. The Lullaby Blade is the best soul damage weapon in the game and the Redstone Monstrosity fight inside the quest is good practice for The Redstone Monstrosity Revived rematch.
    • Join the Lullaby Hills Soul Storm when it appears. All three Sift regions have Soul Storm sites. The reward chest here gives roughly a 79% chance of Special loot and around a 20% chance of Unique — the best odds in the game. Soul Storms last about 40 minutes and are worth prioritizing over regular runs.
    • Farm on Normal or Hard, not Easy. On Easy difficulty, Special and Unique item drop weights are multiplied by zero. You will not get random Unique drops. Switch to Normal or Hard for all farming sessions.

For overall build and gear advice for the endgame, see our max level cap guide and blacksmith and salvaging guide.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What level is Lullaby Hills in Minecraft Dungeons 2?

Lullaby Hills is recommended at level 42. It is the highest-level region in the game and the final zone of the main campaign. Make sure your gear is fully upgraded before entering — the boss gauntlet in The Final Souldown is the hardest sequence in the game.

How do I get to Lullaby Hills?

You reach Lullaby Hills by completing Wrath of the Sculkers in Humbler Huskland, which involves defeating the Monarch boss. After that quest is done, you speak with the Echo Golem and a passage to Lullaby Hills opens. Follow the quest marker into the new region and The Final Souldown begins.

How many bosses are in Lullaby Hills?

The Final Souldown main quest has three boss fights in a row: the Redstone Monstrosity, the Supreme Evoker, and finally the Monstrous Opus. The Redstone Monstrosity also appears as a standalone boss in the Lonesome in Lullaby Hills side quest. The Redstone Monstrosity Revived and The Final Souldown Encore are repeatable boss quests that let you fight all of them again.

What is the Redstone Monstrosity weak to in Minecraft Dungeons 2?

The Redstone Monstrosity is weak to Frost damage, taking 50% increased damage from it. It also resists Fire and Explosion, so avoid fire-based builds for this fight. Frost weapons, enchantments, and freeze effects are your best tools here.

How do you beat the Monstrous Opus?

The most important thing to know is its Soul Harvester AOE attack, which deals 90 damage — the hardest single hit of any boss in the game. Save your dodge-roll for this attack. Everything else the Monstrous Opus does hits for 18 or less. The boss moves fast, so do not try to outrun it. Stay mid-range, dodge the Soul Harvester, and keep dealing damage between its attacks. Enter the fight with your full healing available by conserving resources on the Redstone Monstrosity and Supreme Evoker.

What does The Final Souldown Encore reward?

The first clear of The Final Souldown Encore rewards Sift Sickles, Harp Crossbow, Soul Harvester, and the full Soul Corruptor armor set (Mask, Duster, Sash, Sandals). Repeat clears pull from Lullaby Hills’ loot pool and the Monstrous Opus drop table, giving a 16.7% Unique chance per item drop with no Common rarity items. It is the best endgame farming loop in Lullaby Hills.

How do I get the Lullaby Blade?

The Lullaby Blade is the guaranteed reward for completing the Lonesome in Lullaby Hills side quest. To unlock that quest you first need to complete A Friend till the End, which itself unlocks after finishing The Final Souldown. Inside Lonesome in Lullaby Hills, you collect four stolen Soul Blocks from the Illager Stronghold and defeat the Redstone Monstrosity to get the last one before returning to the Echo Golem.

What are all the side quests in Lullaby Hills?

There are four side quests: A Friend till the End (rewards Prickle’s Mark companion talisman), Lonesome in Lullaby Hills (rewards Lullaby Blade), The Redstone Monstrosity Revived (boss rematch; rewards Redstone Wrecker, full Monstrosity armor set, and other items on first clear), and The Final Souldown Encore (boss rematch; rewards Sift Sickles, Harp Crossbow, and full Soul Corruptor set on first clear). All four unlock after completing The Final Souldown.

Where is the Emerald of Good Fortune talisman?

The Emerald of Good Fortune is a secret talisman found inside a talisman chest in Lullaby Hills. It grants additional Emeralds from defeated enemies. Look for the talisman chest marker on the Lullaby Hills map when you arrive in the region.
