How RMC Works – Mem and Charge Explained

Mem is a separate unit on the action bar with her own SPD and HP. She does not use Energy like normal characters. Instead, she builds Charge. For every 10 Energy regenerated by all allies combined, Mem gains 1% Charge.

When Mem acts without full Charge, she uses Baddies! Trouble! — a basic AoE Ice attack. When she reaches 100% Charge, she immediately takes an extra action and uses Lemme! Help You! — this advances a chosen ally’s action by 100% and applies Mem’s Support for 3 turns. Any damage the ally deals while under Mem’s Support also triggers True Damage based on the hit’s value. The faster your team generates Energy, the more often Mem reaches 100% Charge and fires off her key ability.

This means RMC works best in teams with high Energy regeneration. Characters like Sunday, Huohuo, and Tingyun feed Mem’s Charge quickly and keep the rotation running.

Basic ATK – Leave It to Me!

Deals Ice DMG to a single enemy based on RMC’s ATK. This is a low-priority ability. Use it only when you need to generate a Skill Point and Mem is already on the field.

Skill – I Choose You!

Summons Mem onto the field. If Mem is already present, this restores a portion of Mem’s HP and grants her 10% Charge. Use this at the start of every fight to get Mem out fast. In longer fights, use it whenever Mem’s HP drops and needs topping up, or when you want a small Charge boost.

Ultimate – Together, Mem!

Summons Mem, grants her 40% Charge, and triggers a joint AoE Ice attack on all enemies. This is a strong Charge injection that speeds up Mem’s next Lemme! Help You! activation. The AoE hit also deals respectable Ice DMG. At max level, RMC and Mem deal significant combined damage with this.

Talent – Almighty Companion

Mem’s base SPD starts at 130 and her Max HP scales with RMC’s own Max HP. The core of this Talent is the Charge-from-Energy rule: every 10 Energy regenerated across all allies gives Mem 1% Charge. More Energy cycling means more frequent Mem’s Support activations.

Mem’s Support – The Key Buff

When Mem reaches 100% Charge and uses Lemme! Help You!, the target ally gets a 100% Action Advance and gains Mem’s Support for 3 turns. Every damage instance that ally deals while under Mem’s Support fires extra True DMG. The True DMG multiplier scales higher when the ally has a higher max Energy — characters with large Energy pools like The Herta or Argenti squeeze extra value from this.

Technique – Memories Back as Echoes

Creates a Special Dimension before battle. Enemies inside are frozen in a Time Stop state. When you engage, all enemy actions are delayed by 50% and they take Ice DMG. A great opening tool for tricky stages where you need setup time before the first enemy turn.

At S5 it gives RMC 24% CRIT DMG and applies a 16% DMG buff to all allies for 3 turns whenever Mem uses an ability on an ally. Since Mem’s Support triggers on almost every Mem action, this buff has near-constant uptime. There is currently no better option for a Support-focused RMC build.

2. Memory’s Curtain Never Falls (5-Star – Top Pick for Sub-DPS Builds)

This 5-star light cone from the Herta Store significantly boosts RMC’s SPD and increases all allies’ DMG dealt. It is the top choice on sites like StarGuide for players who want RMC to also contribute damage. However, it is heavily contested by other Remembrance characters, so prioritize Victory in a Blink on RMC unless you have a spare copy.

3. Shadowburn (3-Star – F2P Alternative)

When RMC first summons Mem in a battle, Shadowburn recovers 1 Skill Point for the whole team and restores Energy for RMC. At S5 this gives RMC enough early Energy to fire her Ultimate on the first turn with the right relics. A solid budget pick if you are still farming Victory in a Blink.

4. Past and Future (4-Star – Flex Option)

After RMC uses her Skill, the next ally to act deals 16% more damage for one turn. Simple team damage amplification. Works well if you need a light cone quickly before farming the free options.

Best Relics for Trailblazer Remembrance in HSR 4.3

Best 4-Piece Set: Hero of Triumphant Song

This is the recommended best-in-slot set for RMC. The 4-piece bonus buffs both RMC and Mem’s SPD and CRIT DMG whenever Mem attacks. Since Mem attacks regularly, the bonus stays active most of the time. It directly amplifies Mem’s damage and makes her Charge cycling faster, which means more frequent Mem’s Support activations.

Alternative: World-Remaking Deliverer (4-Piece)

The 4-piece description explicitly states it applies to the memosprite, making it one of the few relic sets that directly powers Mem rather than only RMC. The 2-piece gives ATK% and the 4-piece provides a conditional buff for Mem. Used in some optimized endgame builds alongside specific Planar Ornaments.

Alternative: 2-Piece + 2-Piece Mix

If you lack a good full 4-piece, a mix of 2-piece Messenger Traversing Hackerspace and 2-piece Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal gives a combined 12% SPD bonus. This is a reliable transitional setup while you farm better pieces.

Team 1: The Herta or Argenti – Pure Fiction Powerhouse

RMC is tier 0.5 in Pure Fiction partly because of The Herta. The Herta has a high Ultimate Energy cost, which means Mem generates Charge fast in this team. Mem’s Support True DMG scales better on characters with larger Energy pools, so The Herta is nearly a perfect fit. Pair with a healer like Huohuo and a secondary support like Sunday. Argenti works similarly for the same reason.

Team 2: Phainon Hypercarry

RMC fits well with Phainon, the top single-target DPS in patch 4.3. Mem’s Support gives Phainon extra turns that charge his Coreflame and the True DMG buff amplifies his massive hits. Pair with Tingyun for ATK buffs and additional Energy generation to feed Mem’s Charge, and a healer like Gallagher or Lingsha in the last slot.

Team 3: Castorice

RMC pairs naturally with Castorice. Castorice deals Remembrance-path damage and benefits greatly from True DMG amplification. RMC’s E2 can apply Mem’s Support to memosprites, which directly helps Castorice’s kit. This is one of the strongest teams in the current meta.

Team 4: Feixiao or Acheron

RMC’s E4 treats characters without a normal Energy gauge — like Feixiao and Acheron — as if they have a 130 Energy cap for the purpose of True DMG calculations. This is a meaningful buff that makes RMC viable with Hunt and Nihility carries who normally have no Energy bar. These teams work well in Memory of Chaos stages with high-health single targets.

Team 5: Aglaea

RMC at E2 can apply Mem’s Support to another character’s memosprite. This makes her exceptional with Aglaea, who also uses a memosprite-based kit. Both memosprites benefit from each other’s presence, and the True DMG amplification compounds across multiple sources of off-turn damage.

Trailblazer Remembrance Eidolons – All Free

Every RMC eidolon is obtainable for free through story progression and in-game exploration in Version 3.0 and beyond. There is no reason not to farm all of them over time.

• E1 – Hone Your Strength: The ally with Mem’s Support gains 10% CRIT Rate. This effect also applies to characters with memosprites, making it great for future Remembrance DPS like Aglaea. Strongest early eidolon.
• E2 – Quick March: RMC can now apply Mem’s Support to a character’s memosprite. Also improves RMC’s Energy rotation when ally memosprites take actions. Essential for Remembrance DPS pairings.
