The Cursed Soul Armor Set is one of the more stylish sets you can collect in Crimson Desert. It’s hidden across the Demeniss region, and every single piece requires some clever exploration to reach. There are no boss kills needed. You just need to know where to look and which skills to use.

Plate Helm of Cursed Soul — Windrift Cave Location
Head to the far south of Demeniss, deep into the Steel Mountains near the Thornbriar Mountains and Wells Estate area. You’re looking for Windrift Cave, which sits behind a waterfall on the eastern side of the Steel Mountains.
There are a few connected waterfalls in this area. The cave entrance is behind the one just before the water splits into two streams. Look for the small pile of rocks (inukshuk) near the base — that’s your marker.
Face the waterfall and use Stab (R1 + Triangle / RB + Y) to push through without getting knocked back. Head deeper into the cave and open the treasure chest inside. That’s your Plate Helm of Cursed Soul. There’s also a Palmar Pill sitting to the left of the chest — grab that too while you’re here.
Plate Armor (Chest) of Cursed Soul — Riverbed Terrace Location
This one is found at the Riverbed Terrace in south Demeniss. Head south from the “D” in “Demeniss” on your map. The Riverbed Terrace is a cemetery area filled with graves and tombstones.
Once you’re there, look for the tallest grave on the west side. Walk up to the front of it and use Force Palm (R3) on the leaf symbol carved into it. This flips the tombstone over and reveals a hidden ladder going underground. Climb down and open the treasure chest in the small room below. That’s your chest piece.

Plate Cloak of Cursed Soul — Anvil Riverside Terrace Location
Still in south Demeniss, head to the Anvil Riverside Terrace. It’s a ruined area not far from the Riverbed Terrace. Fair warning — there are bandits here. You’ll want to clear them out before you start looking for the secret panel, otherwise you’ll be interrupted at the worst time.
Once the area is clear, find the northeast wall of the ruins. In the center of that wall, you’ll notice a section you can interact with. Use Cling (R2) to grab onto it, then hit Force Palm (R3) to flip the wall panel open. Go through the opening and you’ll find the treasure chest with the Plate Cloak inside.
Plate Gloves of Cursed Soul — Anvil Hill Gust Cave Location
The gloves are found at Anvil Hill Gust Cave, west of Demeniss in the Reventine Monastery region. Head west from the “D” in “Demeniss” and look for a cliff wall that has a strange metallic surface. There’s a glimmering rock blocking the cave entrance at the base of the cliff.
To get in, you need Focused Force Palm. Activate Focus first (L3), then use Force Palm — wait for the leaf symbol to align with the circle before releasing. This removes the glowing rock blocking the entrance. Head inside and open the chest to get the gloves.
Clearing this chest also completes the Hidden Space of the Heart side quest, which is tied to the Hernand Commissions under faction quests. Handy bonus.

Plate Boots of Cursed Soul — Shadowwolf Cave Location
The boots are found inside Shadowwolf Cave, which is hidden behind a waterfall at the Lower Nas River in south Demeniss. Head south of the “D” in “Demeniss” until you reach the Lower Nas River. The river splits into two here.
Look at the waterfall on the left side. You’ll see a pile of rocks in front of it — that’s your indicator that there’s a hidden cave inside. Use Stab (R1 + Triangle) to push through the waterfall. Once inside, you’ll hit a stone wall blocking the path. Use Turning Slash (R1 + R2) to break through it. Continue deeper and open the treasure chest for the Plate Boots of Cursed Soul.
Is the Cursed Soul Armor Set Worth It?
Honestly? Yes, especially if you like the look of it. The set doesn’t lock you out behind difficult bosses or long quest chains. All five pieces are collectible through exploration alone, which makes it very accessible even in the early-to-mid game.
The stats are solid, and several pieces come with Abyss Gear slots for further customization. Even if you swap it out later for something stronger, it’s a great set to hold onto for the style factor.
