TL;DR

  • The Skyblazer is a ronin-style cloth and leather armor set found entirely within the Delesyia and Dewhaven regions.
  • It is built for agility — Movement Speed, Critical Rate, Spirit Regen, and Lightning Resistance are its main bonuses.
  • There are 4 confirmed pieces: Cloth Helm, Cloth Armor, Cloth Cloak, and Leather Gloves. Matching boots have not been found in the open world yet.
  • Focus Force Palm (L3+R3+R3) is required for several pieces. The Gloves need the Stab skill (R1+Triangle) to access.
  • All pieces are in Delesyia — a mid-to-late game region. Complete at least Chapter 5 before heading here.

If you’ve been hunting for a fast, mobile armor set that fits a ranged or agile playstyle in Crimson Desert, the Skyblazer set is one of the best options in the game. It’s tied to the lore of Balthazar, the Wyvernflame — a legendary wyvern handler — and carries a distinct ronin warrior look. Cloth wrappings, deep tones, and a silhouette that’s unlike any heavy plate set in the game.

Beyond the aesthetics, the Skyblazer set is purpose-built for mobility. Movement Speed and Spirit Regen bonuses make it a natural match for bow builds, fast weapon styles, and players who like to stay mobile in combat. It’s especially well suited for use alongside the OP Infinite Arrow Archer Build, where sustained uptime on Focused Shot demands consistent Spirit recovery.

This guide covers every confirmed location, the mechanics needed to reach each piece, and what to expect from each one’s stats.

What You Need Before You Start

The Skyblazer set is spread across Delesyia and the adjacent Dewhaven Territory. This is a hostile, mid-to-late game region. Mechanized dragonflies patrol large sections of it, and wyverns are active in several of the specific areas you’ll visit. Finishing at least Chapter 5 before heading in gives you enough health, defense, and damage to survive without constant trouble.

Two abilities are essential:

Focus Force Palm (L3+R3+R3) — needed to break metal walls and flip hidden floors. Without it, several piece locations are completely inaccessible. Our full guide on how to get and use Focused Force Palm covers how to unlock it.

Stab (R1+Triangle) — needed to pass through the waterfall entrance for the Leather Gloves. This is a standard skill available from the skill tree. Make sure you have it equipped before heading to Benus River.

All Skyblazer Armor Piece Locations

1. Skyblazer Cloth Helm — Three Brothers’ Cliff Wyvern Nest (Southwest Delesyia / Dewhaven Territory)

Stats: 12 Defense, 4 Refinement, Lv 1 Movement Speed, pre-slotted 10% Contribution EXP Gain Abyss Gear.

Head southwest from Delesyia into Dewhaven Territory. You’re looking for the Three Brothers’ Cliff Wyvern Nest, located beneath Wyvern’s Cradle in the southwestern part of the region. Wyverns are active here, so be careful approaching the area.

Go to the east side of the cliff face. You’ll find a metal wall blocking access to a cave entrance — it shimmers slightly and won’t react to normal attacks. Use Focus Force Palm (L3+R3+R3) to reveal the golden orb embedded in the wall. Strike it to blow the wall open. The Treasure Chest inside holds the Skyblazer Cloth Helm.

The Contribution EXP Gain gear pre-slotted in this helm is useful while grinding faction ranks but doesn’t help in combat. Consider swapping it for Insight III (Critical Rate) once you have a better Abyss Gear to replace it. Our guide on unlocking the Witches and Abyss Gears system explains how to do that.

2. Skyblazer Cloth Armor — Sanctum of Devotion (Western Dewhaven / Southwest Delesyia)

Stats: 21 Defense, Lv 1 Movement Speed.

Head to the Sanctum of Devotion, located in the western region of Dewhaven in the southwestern corner of Delesyia. This sanctum is also relevant for a main progression unlock, so you may already be familiar with its location. Our Sanctum of Devotion walkthrough has the full puzzle and navigation details.

The armor piece is hidden inside a secret room in the main building. Here’s how to reach it:

Go to the west face of the main building inside the sanctum. Start climbing up the outer wall — use L2 to cling to the surface. Climb until you reach the area above the golden circular ring or emblem on the wall. Once you’re clinging to the wall at that height, use Force Palm (R3 while clinging) to rotate or spin the wall section. This flips a fake wall panel open, revealing a hidden room behind it.

Drop inside. The Treasure Chest in this secret room contains the Skyblazer Cloth Armor. Pick it up before continuing with the sanctum puzzle.

3. Skyblazer Cloth Cloak — Fort Windridge (South Delesyia / Forgotten Wyvern Nest)

Stats: 12 Defense, Ice Resistance Lv 3.

Travel to the furthest south region of Delesyia, into the area around the Forgotten Wyvern Nest. Fort Windridge sits here — a fortified structure in this southern area. The fort will likely have enemies, so clear enough of them to move freely before attempting the puzzle.

Inside the fort, find the tallest central tower and climb to the very top. Stand on the rooftop and look straight down at the floorboards beneath you. Use Force Palm while standing there to flip the hidden floor section. It rotates open like a trapdoor, dropping you into a small hidden compartment below the rooftop.

The Treasure Chest inside holds the Skyblazer Cloth Cloak. The Ice Resistance Lv 3 socket on this piece is a strong passive bonus for northern frozen regions and cold-type Abyss zones.

One tip: save your game before attempting the floor flip. The Force Palm interaction on the rooftop can occasionally be finicky if you’re standing in the wrong spot, so having a save nearby avoids losing progress.

4. Skyblazer Leather Gloves — Serpent Scale Cave (Benus River, South Delesyia)

Stats: 30 Attack, 18 Defense, Lv 2 Critical Rate, Lightning Resistance Lv 1, and two Spirit Regen (+0.1/sec) Abyss Gears pre-slotted.

This is the most offensively powerful piece in the set. The Critical Rate and dual Spirit Regen sockets make these gloves exceptional for Focused Shot uptime, and the Lightning Resistance is useful in Delesyia’s later zones.

Find the Benus River in Dewhaven Territory — look at the map south of the “L” in “Delesyia.” There’s a prominent waterfall flowing here. The entrance to Serpent Scale Cave is hidden directly behind that waterfall — there’s no visible door.

Walk up to the waterfall and use Stab (R1+Triangle) directly into the falling water. This ability lets you push through the water curtain and into the cave behind it. Follow the path into the cave — the Treasure Chest is located just past the entrance and is easy to reach once you’re inside.

If you’re building around bow or agility combat, these gloves are arguably the most important piece of the full set. The Spirit Regen sockets alone justify the trip for any player using elemental attacks and Imbue Elements regularly.

What About the Skyblazer Boots?

There are no confirmed boots for the Skyblazer set found in the open world at this time. No fixed location has been verified by the community. It’s possible they exist as a reward from a high-level faction quest, are tied to progression not yet fully mapped, or may be added in a future update.

In the meantime, most players pair the Skyblazer pieces with boots from other agility-friendly sets. The Odeck’s Protector Plate Boots are a solid substitute, offering Movement Speed and Damage Reduction that aligns well with the Skyblazer’s playstyle. Our guide on the Odeck’s Protector Armor Set covers exactly where to find them.

How the Skyblazer Set Compares to Other Sets

The Skyblazer set is agility gear, not tank gear. It trades the raw defense of heavy plate armor for mobility, Spirit sustain, and offensive stats. If you’re playing a melee-heavy build that needs to absorb hits, sets like the Frostcursed or Odeck’s Protector offer better overall protection.

But if you’re playing a bow build, using fast dual weapons, or building around Focused Shot uptime, the Skyblazer set pulls well ahead. The Leather Gloves alone give a substantial Critical Rate and double Spirit Regen boost that heavy plate sets simply don’t offer. Movement Speed on the Helm and Cloth Armor keeps you mobile between attacks, which matters a lot against bosses that constantly reposition.

The set also takes dyes very well. If you want to customize the look — darker tones, deep blues, or earthy shades — visit the Dyer in the Delesyia marketplace. For more on how to dye armor, our dye guide for armor, weapons, and horse gear walks through the process.

Tips for Getting the Most Out of the Skyblazer Set

Always refine the pieces at a Smithy before worrying about swapping Abyss Gears. Cloth and leather armor have lower base defense than heavy plate, and refinement narrows that gap significantly. Push each piece toward +10 as you gather materials. Our guide on how to upgrade weapons and armor and how to reinforce equipment covers everything you need.

The pre-slotted Contribution EXP Gain gear on the Helm is only useful when farming faction ranks. In combat, swap it out for Insight III (Critical Rate) to synergize with the Leather Gloves’ Lv 2 Critical Rate bonus. Together, they make crits land much more consistently.

Spirit Regen from the Leather Gloves stacks with Composure III from your armor Abyss Gears. If you’re running the Infinite Arrow Archer Build or any setup that leans heavily on Focused Shot, stacking both gives you near-constant Spirit uptime. See our best skills to level up first guide to build your skill tree around this playstyle.

Save before any of the Force Palm puzzle interactions, especially at Fort Windridge. The rooftop floor flip can occasionally be unreliable if you’re slightly off-position. A quick save takes seconds and prevents replaying the climb.
