Baltheon Armor in Crimson Desert is a three-piece plate set added in patch 1.04.00. You buy it from Rhett’s Equipment Shop in Hernand, but the game locks it behind a prestige requirement. You need the Hernandian Crown in your inventory before Rhett will let you purchase any piece. Here is the full step-by-step guide.

What Is the Baltheon Armor Set?
The Baltheon Armor is a full plate set with a clean silver knight aesthetic. It fits naturally with the Hernand region’s military look. The set has three pieces: the Baltheon Plate Helm, Baltheon Plate Armor, and Baltheon Plate Gauntlets.
There are no official boots or a cloak in the Baltheon set. However, the Canta Plate Boots sold by the same vendor pair well with it visually. Any cloak from the Hernand Contribution Shop also works if you want to complete the look.

The Baltheon Plate Helm was previously found as a broken, unsellable item called the Rekhia Plate Helm. Patch 1.04.00 renamed it and made it fully equippable as part of this set.
Baltheon Armor Piece Stats
Here are the stats for each piece at base level:
- Baltheon Plate Helm — 2 Defense, no upgrades, one Abyss socket
- Baltheon Plate Armor — 10 Defense, upgrade level 3, three Abyss sockets
- Baltheon Plate Gauntlets — 17 Attack, 5 Defense, upgrade level 3, two Abyss sockets
The Gauntlets are the standout piece. The 17 Attack value makes them a solid mid-game pickup even for players who do not want the full set. The chest piece costs the most Silver, so make sure your funds are ready before visiting Rhett.
Step 1 — Earn 70 Contribution Points
Before you can buy the Baltheon Armor, you need 70 Contribution Points to spend at the Hernand Contribution Shop. This is the second most expensive item in that shop, so it takes some work.
The fastest ways to build up Contribution Points in Hernand include:
- Completing Hernand Faction Quests from the Journal tab
- Completing bounties around the Hernand region
- Running dispatch missions from your camp

Step 2 — Buy the Hernandian Crown from the Contribution Shop
Once you have 70 Contribution Points, head to Hernand Castle and find the Contribution Shop. The vendor there is named Haldwin. Purchase the Hernandian Crown for 70 points.
The item description reads “Imbued with prestige.” This is the key that unlocks Rhett’s hidden stock. You do not need to equip the Crown at any point. Just having it in your inventory is enough to satisfy the requirement.
Important: After you buy all the Baltheon pieces you want, you can sell the Hernandian Crown back to the Contribution Shop and recover your 70 points. This does not remove the armor from your inventory. You can buy and return the Crown as many times as you need.
Step 3 — Find Rhett’s Equipment Shop in Hernand
Rhett runs the Equipment Shop in the City of Hernand. The shop is located in the middle of the city, south of the Abyss Nexus. Look for the standard Equipment Shop icon on your map.
If you have not been to Hernand yet, you will unlock access to it naturally through the main story. The city is in the Hernand region and becomes available well before the mid-game.
Step 4 — Buy the Baltheon Armor
With the Hernandian Crown in your inventory, talk to Rhett and select Buy. The Baltheon pieces are listed at the bottom of his inventory. Scroll all the way down to find them.
The shop listing will show the set as “Only sold to those who hold prestige” until you have the Crown on you. Once you do, the items become purchasable normally with Silver Coins.
Buy whichever pieces you want. You can grab all three or just the Gauntlets if that is all you need right now.
Is the Baltheon Armor Worth It?
For fashion and early-to-mid game play, yes. The silver plate look is one of the cleanest knight aesthetics in the game. If you enjoy playing as a classic armoured warrior, this set delivers that look better than most options available in Hernand.
For endgame content, no. The Baltheon set has no special passive effects and its raw Defense numbers are overtaken later in the game. One smart move is to buy the Baltheon Gauntlets on their own. The 17 Attack value is genuinely useful in the mid-game, and you do not need to commit to the full set to benefit from them.
The Hernandian Crown can also be returned after purchase. So you are not permanently spending 70 Contribution Points — you get them back after unlocking the armor. That makes this a low-cost unlock if you manage it correctly.
Good Gear Pairings With Baltheon Armor
Since the Baltheon set has no boots or cloak, you will need to fill those slots from elsewhere. Rhett’s shop also sells the Canta Plate Boots, which match the silver plate aesthetic well. For a cloak, any of the Hernand Contribution Shop cloaks work visually, though you will need to sell back the Crown first to afford them.
