Destiny 2: All Raider’s Effigies Locations in Dungeons

Find all 11 Raider's Effigies in Destiny 2 dungeons. Complete the In Every Corner triumph with our full location guide for every dungeon from Shattered Throne to Equilibrium.

TL;DR

  • There are 11 Raider’s Effigies across all 11 Destiny 2 dungeons.
  • Collecting all of them completes the In Every Corner triumph and rewards 50 Legendary Marks.
  • You do not need to complete every dungeon from scratch. Checkpoint bots and LFG groups can get you to most effigies faster.
  • Most effigies sit along the natural dungeon path. Warlord’s Ruin is the only one requiring a short detour.
  • This triumph is part of the Teamwork: Dungeon Challenges category in Monument of Triumph.

What Are Raider’s Effigies in Destiny 2?

Raider’s Effigies are glowing collectible items hidden inside every dungeon in Destiny 2. They were added as part of the Monument of Triumph update. Each dungeon has exactly one. There are 11 Raider’s Effigies across all Dungeons in Destiny 2.

Collecting all 11 completes the In Every Corner triumph, which rewards 50 Legendary Marks. This is one of the largest single-triumph payouts in the Monument of Triumph update, making it well worth the effort.

You do not necessarily need to run every dungeon from start to finish to get these. A fair number of them can be picked up using Twitch checkpoint bots, since the effigies are tied to specific points rather than full clears.

If you are also hunting the raid version of this collectible, the equivalent triumph is Under the Rug, which covers all 10 raids. Both together make up a large chunk of the Immortal seal’s secret-hunting requirements.

All 11 Raider’s Effigy Locations in Dungeons

1. Shattered Throne

After the big drop section, you’ll fight the second boss. Once that boss is down, the effigy is right there waiting for you. This is one of the most straightforward pickups in the entire list. You encounter it naturally while progressing through the dungeon and there is no detour required.

Shattered Throne is set in the Dreaming City and is one of the oldest dungeons in the game. If you need access to the Dreaming City first, see our guide on how to open Ascendant Chests with Tincture of Queensfoil for other Dreaming City content to pair with this run.

2. Pit of Heresy

This one’s tucked into the last pyramid during the sparrow section, right before you hop on the lift heading to the final boss area. Grab it before you commit to the lift. Do not ride the lift first or you will miss the window to collect it without resetting back.

Pit of Heresy is on the Moon. For more Moon content, see our Pit of Heresy loot table.

3. Prophecy

At the end of the sparrow section, capture point D first, then turn around and head back toward the “mouth” of the big skull, the same one you sparrow-jumped through earlier. The effigy is sitting inside the skull’s mouth. Do not skip past it on your way to the final boss.

Prophecy is the only dungeon in Destiny 2 that is completely free to play. Any Guardian can run it without purchasing an expansion or Dungeon Key.

4. Grasp of Avarice

Right before you drop down to face Gahlran, look behind the open door on the floor. The effigy is sitting just out of sight there. It is easy to walk right past if you are rushing toward the boss. Slow down just before the drop and check behind the door before committing.

5. Duality

During or right after the Harpy boss fight, head to the right side from where the Harpy encounter starts, then drop one floor down. The effigy is hiding there. This one is a slight detour off the main path but only takes a moment to reach once you know where to look.

6. Spire of the Watcher

In the final boss room, look above the ghost where the encounter actually begins. The effigy is perched up there. You will need to look up rather than forward when you enter the boss arena. Check above the starting ghost marker before placing a rally banner or triggering the encounter.

7. Ghosts of the Deep

This is the one exception where you’ll need to wander off the main path a little. Right at the beginning of the dungeon, the effigy is sitting in the same room as the Dungeons and Dragons easter egg. Head to the very start of the dungeon and explore the first major room before pushing forward. Look for the D&D easter egg and the effigy will be nearby.

8. Warlord’s Ruin

Right at the first encounter, the effigy is hiding behind the flag. Quick grab if you know to check there. Go directly to the first encounter’s rally banner flag and check directly behind it before starting the fight with Rathil. This is the most commonly missed effigy because players walk past the flag without looking behind it.

If you are running Warlord’s Ruin for the effigy, this is also a good time to knock out the Warlord’s Jailbreak triumph in the same run.

9. Vesper’s Host

After the second boss and before you reach the big light puzzle, look for the dead worm’s skeleton, which, fittingly, is actually a snake. The effigy is sitting right on its head. This transition section between the second boss and the light puzzle is easy to rush through. Stop when you spot the large skeletal snake structure and grab the effigy from the top of its skull before continuing.

10. Sundered Doctrine

At the second boss encounter, check behind the flag near the window. The effigy is tucked away there. Similar to Warlord’s Ruin, the effigy is hidden right near the rally banner flag. Look behind the flag instead of in front of it before triggering the encounter.

11. Equilibrium

The Equilibrium effigy is the newest addition to the list. Eleven dungeons, eleven effigies, and honestly a decent reminder of just how much content Bungie has packed into Destiny 2 over the years. Equilibrium is the most recent dungeon, released with the Renegades expansion. For collectibles already confirmed in this dungeon, see our Equilibrium dungeon relic locations guide.

Tips for Collecting All Dungeon Effigies Fast

  • Use checkpoint bots. Most dungeon effigies sit near specific encounter checkpoints. Using community LFG tools or Twitch checkpoint bots to load directly into the relevant section saves you from running full dungeon clears for each one.
  • Always check behind rally banner flags. Warlord’s Ruin and Sundered Doctrine both hide their effigies directly behind the flag. This is a recurring trick so get into the habit of looking behind every flag before placing it.
  • Grab each effigy before starting the encounter. Once you trigger a boss fight, the layout changes. Collect the effigy first, then start the fight.
  • Pair with other dungeon triumphs. If you are in Warlord’s Ruin for the effigy, do the Warlord’s Jailbreak triumph in the same session. If you are in Pit of Heresy, check whether any other triumph objectives overlap.
  • Prophecy is the best free starting point. It requires no paid content and the effigy is accessible without help from other players. Run this one first to build comfort with the effigy hunt format before moving to dungeons with more complex access requirements.

What Does the In Every Corner Triumph Reward?

In Every Corner rewards 50 Legendary Marks for collecting all Raider’s Effigies found in dungeon activities. This is one of the largest triumph payouts in the Teamwork: Dungeon Challenges category. Legendary Marks are spent at the four Tenet vendors in the Tower Courtyard to buy weapons, armor, exotic catalysts, and cosmetics.

If you are grinding the Immortal Title, this triumph counts toward the Teamwork category. You need to complete 12 out of 17 triumph categories for the title. See the full Immortal Title guide and the Monument of Triumph overview for everything else tied to the seal.

For a full breakdown of what each dungeon drops while you are farming them, the Destiny 2 dungeons in order guide lists every dungeon alongside its Exotic weapon and loot pool. You can also check the Equilibrium dungeon weapons and armor guide if you are farming the newest dungeon for gear alongside the effigy.
