Monitor Control Room Safe Code in Resident Evil Requiem (RE9)

TL;DR

This is the last safe in the game — opening it unlocks the No Safe Is Safe trophy/achievement

Insanity Mode safe code: Right 20, Left 0, Right 70
The safe is in the Monitor Control Room — the first green door on the left after entering the Lobby

You’re almost at the end. The Monitor Control Room safe is the fifth and final safe in Resident Evil Requiem, and cracking it closes out the No Safe Is Safe trophy. It’s also sitting in one of the last sections of the ARK before the story’s endgame — so don’t rush past it. Here’s the full code, where the safe is, and where to find the clue file.

Monitor Control Room Safe Code (Standard / Casual)

Left 50 → Right 60 → Left 80

Here’s how to input it correctly:

Spin the dial left (clockwise) until it reaches 50
Spin the dial right (counterclockwise) until it reaches 60
Spin the dial left (clockwise) until it reaches 80
Pull the handle to open

Complete all three turns before pulling. If you pull the handle after just one or two turns, the dial resets and you have to start again.

Monitor Control Room Safe Code (Insanity Mode)

Right 20 → Left 0 → Right 70

The safe location and rewards stay the same on Insanity difficulty. Only the combination changes.

Where Is the Monitor Control Room Safe?

The safe is in the Monitor Control Room inside the ARK facility. To reach it:

Use the Magnetic Key on the red door near the typewriter in the Lab Entrance
This opens the Lobby — the room with the red-painted floors
Enter the first green door on the left as you enter the Lobby
You’re now in the Monitor Control Room
The safe is on the counter on the south side of the room, next to an open steel case

The Monitor Control Room has no threatening enemies inside. You can open the safe without worrying about Lickers or zombies in this specific room.

Where to Find the Monitor Control Room Safe Code File

You don’t need the file to open the safe — the code above works immediately. But if you want it for your collectibles, here’s where it is.

From the Monitor Control Room, exit back into the Lobby and head past the Anteroom. Go downstairs into Bioweapon Repository 05. This room is full of Umbrella shipping containers — and Lickers.

Move carefully. In the center of the room, look to the east side. Head south and look into the open container there. The code file is sitting on top of a container in the middle-right area of the room. Pick it up and it gets saved to your Files menu.

The room also has a Hip Pouch inventory upgrade and a couple of other documents worth grabbing while you’re down here.

What’s Inside the Monitor Control Room Safe?

Opening the safe rewards you with:

1x Bottle of Acid
1x Empty Bottle
1x Med Injector

These items come in useful for the final stretch of the ARK. Bottles of Acid one-shot Lickers, so holding onto one before the final push is a smart move. The Med Injector is solid healing for a tough stretch ahead.

Critical Warning — Point of No Return

This is important. After you complete the puzzle in the Lobby and enter through the red door, you cannot return to the Monitor Control Room. The game locks you out of this area permanently once you cross that threshold.

Open the Monitor Control Room safe before interacting with the final console in the archives. Also read the file on the monitor on the right side of the room before you leave — it contains a collectible file that is tied to this area only.

No Safe Is Safe Trophy / Achievement

Opening all five safes in Resident Evil Requiem unlocks the No Safe Is Safe bronze trophy and achievement. The Monitor Control Room safe is the fifth and final one. If you’ve been working through them in order, opening this one should trigger the unlock immediately.

All five safes are opened exclusively by Grace. Leon cannot interact with any safe in the game.
