The Secret Garden is one of the trickier Abyss puzzles in Crimson Desert. You arrive in a dark chamber, there’s a sealed door ahead, and two large laser devices sit on opposite sides of the room. Only one of them works. The door won’t budge until both lasers are aimed correctly — but first, you need to power the second one.
Here’s exactly how to do it.
How to Reach the Secret Garden
You need to finish the Obsession and Madness quest in Chapter 4 before this area unlocks. Once done, fast travel to the Sanctorum of Insight via its Abyss Nexus. Head through the Sanctorum, cross the Skybridge at the back, and ride the elevator down. At the bottom, follow the platforms to the teleporter — that drops you straight into the Secret Garden.
On your way down the elevator, check the south side for a hidden chest containing 2x Epidote and an Abyss Gear piece. Easy to miss.
Step 1 – Power the Second Laser
Head to the southwest corner of the room. You’ll see a glowing blue battery below a platform. Pull it toward you with Axiom Force (L3). There’s also a large floating block nearby — move that close to the inactive laser so you have a surface to stand on. Place the battery into the empty slot on the left laser, then use Force Palm to push it firmly into place. The second laser turns on.

Step 2 – Aim the Right Laser
Go to the back of the right laser and grab the yellow control light with Axiom Force. Use the D-Pad to rotate it — drag it all the way left, then angle it upward. When the angle is correct, the beam bounces off a mirror target and hits the left node on the door.
Step 3 – Aim the Left Laser
Now go to the back of the left laser (the one you just powered). Grab it with Axiom Force and use the D-Pad to aim the beam at the target above the right laser. The beam reflects and hits the right node on the door. Both nodes light up and the door opens.
Step 4 – Fix the Conduit and Activate the Gate
Glide up through the open door using your wings. Just ahead, you’ll find a conduit — inspect it and connect the wires. Then jump and use Force Palm on the platform above. The Abyss Gate activates. Walk through it to collect your Abyss Artifact and move on.
