How Infinite Arrow Abyss Gears Work in Crimson Desert

Each Infinite Arrows Abyss Gear gives a percentage chance to not consume an arrow when you fire. The three tiers work like this:

• Infinite Arrows I — 20% chance to not consume an arrow.
• Infinite Arrows II — 40% chance to not consume an arrow.
• Infinite Arrows III — 60% chance to not consume an arrow.
• Greater Infinite Arrows — 100% chance, but breaks after 100 uses and cannot be repaired. Do not build around this.

The percentages stack additively when you embed multiple Abyss Gears into the same bow. Infinite Arrows II + Infinite Arrows III = 100%. At 100% you never consume an arrow. Why II + III Is the Best Combination

Using Infinite Arrows II and Infinite Arrows III together hits 100% while only occupying two Abyss Gear slots on your bow. Most bows have four or five slots. That leaves two or three slots free for offensive cores like crit rate or damage bonuses. It is the most slot-efficient path to unlimited arrows in the game. How to Get Infinite Arrows II — Guaranteed from Karanda

Infinite Arrows II is the easiest of the two to obtain because it has a guaranteed source. You do not need to farm RNG drops or run the synthesis system.

• Travel to the Harpy’s Nest in Pailune.
• Complete enough Pailune Militia Faction Quests to unlock the Queen of the Skies quest.
• Defeat Karanda as part of that quest.
• The quest reward includes Infinite Arrows II — the 40% version — directly in your inventory.

Defeating Karanda also rewards the Eye of the Sky Treasure item, which reveals points of interest across Pailune. This is a clean one-time unlock. How to Get Infinite Arrows III — Special Synthesis at the Witch

Infinite Arrows III has no guaranteed drop source. It must be crafted through the Special Synthesis system at any Witch’s workshop. This involves RNG, but there are ways to make the process faster.

Method 1 — Craft Infinite Arrows I First via Blueprint

Before you can synthesise higher tiers, you need Infinite Arrows I. The blueprint for crafting it comes from a Dispatch Mission.

• Liberate the Timeworn Ruins, found south of the second “E” in the word “Crimson Desert” on the world map. You may need to complete the Knight of Fortune and Raiders of the Crimson Sands Lords of Unclaimed Lands Faction Quests first to unlock this area.
• Once liberated, activate the Timeworn Ruins Exploration Dispatch Mission from your camp.
• Make a manual save just before the Dispatch Mission completes. The blueprint reward is randomised across 13 possible blueprints. If you do not receive the Infinite Arrows Blueprint, reload your save and try again.
• Collect the blueprint from your Private Storage chest at Howling Hill camp. Read it to learn the recipe.
• Go to any Witch — Elowen in the Witchwoods of Hernand works well — and select Craft Abyss Gear. Craft Infinite Arrows I from the materials listed in the recipe.

Once you have Infinite Arrows I, you can synthesise upward. Learn how to make a manual save if you are unsure how the save system works before starting the Dispatch Mission.

Method 2 — Synthesise Up from Tier 1 to Tier 3

At the Witch, press R2/RT to open the Synthesize tab inside the Craft Abyss Gear menu. The synthesis path works like this:

• 2x Infinite Arrows I fused together = Infinite Arrows II (roughly 46% chance of producing a Tier 2 result).
• 2x Infinite Arrows II fused together = Infinite Arrows III (same ~46% Tier 3 chance, but the specific effect is also randomised).

Make a manual save before every synthesis attempt. The outcome is random. If you do not get Infinite Arrows III from the fusion, reload and try again. This is the save-scum method and it significantly cuts down time spent on this step. Most players get Infinite Arrows III within a few attempts using this approach.

The synthesis system requires one “normal” type gear and one “special” type gear. Infinite Arrows effects fall into the special category. Farm a mix of gear types from enemies to ensure you always have both categories available for fusion attempts.

How to Farm Abyss Gears Fast — Icewatch Altar Disarm Loop

To synthesise Infinite Arrows III you need a supply of extracted Abyss Gears to fuse. The fastest way to build that supply in 2026 is the disarm loop at Icewatch Altar.

Icewatch Altar is located southwest of Forebearer’s Barrens, between Pailune and the Crimson Desert region. The area is filled with enemies carrying shields and one-handed weapons embedded with Abyss Gears that you can disarm and collect.

How to Run the Disarm Loop

• Equip a sword and a small shield. Your weapon quality does not matter. You need the small shield specifically to parry and trigger disarms. A tower shield does not work for this.
• Bring plenty of food and consider wearing ice-resistant armor — the Icewatch Altar is in a cold region. Our Ice Resistance guide covers your options.
• Aggro the enemies and let them attack you. Hold L1 to block and press R1 immediately after they connect a hit to trigger a parry disarm. This knocks their weapon or shield out of their hands.
• Do not kill the enemies. If enemy count drops to 0%, the area clears and farming ends. Focus purely on disarming.
• Summon your pet to help collect dropped weapons and shields from the ground. Pets will pick up nearby loot automatically, which speeds up collection significantly. See our pet guide for how to get and summon one.
• When most enemies are disarmed, run away until the red minimap blur disappears. Go behind the nearby hills to let enemies reset. Return and repeat.
• Continue until your inventory is nearly full of disarmed weapons and shields.

An alternative disarm farm location is Frost Hold Cave, near the Spire of Frost. The enemy density and gear drop rate are comparable to Icewatch Altar. Use whichever you can reach more easily based on your current map progress. You can also reach the Icewatch Altar area more easily after completing the Frostwarden quest at the Spire of Frost.

Extracting the Abyss Gears

• Once your inventory is full, travel to any Witch you have unlocked.
• Select Extract Abyss Gear from her menu.
• Extract the Abyss Gears from every weapon and shield in your inventory.
• After extraction, sell the now-empty weapons and shields for Silver. They have no further use once stripped.
• Save before synthesising. Use the extracted gears to fuse toward Infinite Arrows III.

Each disarm run yields a large haul of random Abyss Gears. Most will not be Infinite Arrows, but the volume of materials lets you keep fusing until the right result appears.

How to Embed Infinite Arrow Abyss Gears Into Your Bow

Once you have Infinite Arrows II from Karanda and Infinite Arrows III from synthesis, you need to embed them into your bow.

• Choose your bow. The Divine Echoes Bow is a strong option with up to 5 Abyss Gear slots. See our Divine Echoes Bow guide for its location. Any bow with open slots works.
• If your bow does not have enough open slots, visit the Witch and use the Create Socket tab to unlock additional slots.
• Navigate to the Embed Abyss Gears tab at the Witch.
• Select Infinite Arrows II and embed it into the bow.
• Select Infinite Arrows III and embed it into the same bow.

With both embedded, your bow now has a 100% chance to not consume arrows. Buy or craft a single Explosive Arrow and equip it. You can now fire it indefinitely. The Back Alley Shop in Demeniss, east of the castle wall, stocks Explosive Arrows if you need to pick one up quickly. You can also use Replenishing Arrows as another option.

All Ways to Get Infinite Arrow Abyss Gears — Summary

• Infinite Arrows II (guaranteed) — defeat Karanda at the Harpy’s Nest in Pailune during the Queen of the Skies Militia Faction Quest.
• Infinite Arrows I (blueprint) — Timeworn Ruins Exploration Dispatch Mission. Save scum the randomised blueprint reward.
• Infinite Arrows III (synthesis) — fuse 2x Infinite Arrows II at the Witch’s Synthesize tab. Save before each attempt and reload if you do not get the right result.
