How to get the CCTV Room Keycard in 007 First Light is something players often get stuck on during the Uninvited mission. After reaching the Security Room upstairs in the Webb Gala, you will find the CCTV Room door locked. This guide covers both keycard locations and how to reach the CCTV Room cleanly.

When Do You Need the CCTV Room Keycard?
James Bond will eventually reach the Security Room and discover that the door to the CCTV Room is locked and requires a keycard in 007 First Light. This happens after you get upstairs in the Uninvited chapter using any of the available routes — the VIP Entrance, the Press Room backstage door, or the skylight.

CCTV Room Keycard Location 1 — The Glass Office
There are two CCTV Room keycards in 007 First Light, but you will only need one to access the room. The first can be found in the adjacent office to the Security Room. Take the open door to the left of the Security Room to enter the office space. As soon as you enter, you will be able to eavesdrop on two Webb Security officers having a chat.
Wait for the officer to head to the glass office and put the CCTV Room’s keycard on the table. Once he does that, take out the security officer inside the glass cabin and take the CCTV Room keycard off the table.
Look for the glass office in the back of the room. Go inside. You will see the CCTV Keycard sitting on the desk. It is a good idea to knock out the guard nearby first. This is the most direct method and works well for players going for a combat-focused run.
CCTV Room Keycard Location 2 — The Break Room (Stealth Method)
The second and more stealthy method gets the keycard from a guard in the break room. This is the recommended approach if you are going for the stealth and no-detection challenges.
After entering through the Security Room front doors, grab extra batteries from the storage closet on the right if needed. Hide behind reception until the guards turn around, then move through the right-side doors while avoiding the camera. Pass through the civilian room and enter the break room.
Once inside the break room, hack the air conditioner to cause smoke to obscure enemy vision, and pickpocket the keycard from the guard.
This is the cleaner option for stealth runs. The smoke from the air conditioner gives you a safe window to move in and lift the keycard without triggering an alert.
How to Get Past the Reception Desk Guards
Once you have the keycard in hand, there are two guards stationed at the reception desk directly in front of the CCTV door. You cannot walk past them without a distraction.
The two guards at the reception desk need a distraction, so switch on the vacuum cleaner on the right and rush the CCTV door while they look away. Both the A Quiet Night and Top Notch Security challenges complete at the same time when you do this.
Move quickly after activating the vacuum cleaner. The distraction window is short. Use the keycard on the door and step through before either guard turns back around.
Alternative — Skip the Keycard With the Skylight (Dropping In Challenge)
If you prefer not to deal with the guards or the keycard at all, there is a completely different route into the CCTV Room that also completes a challenge.
There is a faster alternative to obtaining a keycard: entering through the skylight. This route is not only quicker but also ideal for players trying to stay undetected.
Climb the pipe up to the roof, use your Laser Strap on the locked gate, and hack the skylight with the Q-Watch to drop directly into the CCTV Room completely untouched. This completes the Dropping In challenge and bypasses the reception desk guards entirely.

What to Do Once You Are Inside the CCTV Room
Once Bond is inside, the next objective is to use the CCTV system to track down the assassin. Your job is to find the assassin, so follow every lead to track them down. The mission then continues through several more sections including the workshop, the courtyard, and eventually the confrontation with Damien Webb.
Tips for This Section
- Refill batteries before entering the Security Room. The storage closet on the right just inside the front doors has battery supplies. Pick them up before doing anything else in this area.
- Use the break room keycard for stealth challenges. The air conditioner smoke method is the cleanest way to get the keycard without alerting anyone. It also keeps your no-detection challenge intact.
- The vacuum cleaner distraction is brief. Move to the CCTV door immediately after switching it on. Do not pause between the distraction and the door.
- Pick one method per run. Several Uninvited challenges are mutually exclusive. The skylight route completes Dropping In but prevents you from completing challenges tied to the keycard path.
