How to get the Gala Invitation in 007 First Light is one of the first things you need to figure out in the Uninvited mission. Bond arrives at the Webb Industries Gala without a ticket, and the guards will not let anyone through without one. Here is exactly how to steal one and get inside.

When Does This Come Up?
The Webb Gala is an exclusive event that requires attendees to have a Gala Invitation to enter in 007 First Light. Since James Bond only entered the Webb Gala in pursuit of an assassin, he does not have a formal invitation for the event.
You will hit this obstacle right at the start of the Uninvited chapter. Head to the reception table in the middle of the room and collect all the battery and chemical supplies to refill your resources first — you will need them. The entrance corridor is blocked by three guards who will stop you cold without a valid invitation in hand.
How to Find a Guest With a Gala Invitation
There are several guests walking around the entrance lobby who are carrying the Gala Invitation. To see which of the guests has one, simply use the Q-Lens ability, and the invitation will glow golden on their person.
Look for guests near the central registration desk. Activate your Q-Lens by pressing L1 or LB. This highlights any guest carrying a Gala Invitation with a bright golden glow. You will spot several people near the registration desk holding these yellow event passes, so just pick whichever target is most isolated.
How to Pickpocket the Invitation
Once you have your target picked out, you need to create a window to pickpocket them cleanly. Pickpocketing is simple if you have either the Dart Phone or Laser Strap gadgets equipped. Simply pick one of the guests carrying a Gala Invitation and use either gadget to daze the guest. Once the guest is confused or dazed, you can go ahead and pickpocket the invitation.
The Dart Phone fires a stealthy dart that triggers instant nausea in the target. They will quickly step aside to deal with their sudden sickness, giving you the perfect window to move in close. Pickpocket the invitation while they are distracted.
You can also trigger a nearby distraction by throwing an object or making noise to draw the guest away before approaching. You have a short window after the distraction to act, so move quickly once the target steps away.
How to Enter the Gala With the Invitation
Once the invitation is in your inventory, simply walk up to the three guards at the main corridor, flash your stolen pass, and walk right into the main hall.
Before heading through, make sure to grab one of the collectible playing cards — the 8 of Acorns — which can be found on a bench to the right of the guards near three NPCs having a conversation. It is easy to miss if you head straight for the entrance. You can find every card location in our all playing cards locations guide.
Alternative Method — Gate Crasher (No Invitation Needed)
If you want to skip the invitation entirely and complete the Gate Crasher challenge at the same time, there is a second method that bypasses the whole pickpocket process.
You will need the Laser Strap and the Phone Dart gadgets for this challenge. When you arrive at the Webb Industries Gala, approach the reception desk to find green bottles of chemicals. You will need these bottles to fill up your Phone Dart. Blocking the entrance to the gala are three guards. Activate your Q-Lens with L1 or LB, then press your Phone Dart button on two of the guards, refilling with the chemicals for the second guard. Once those two guards disperse, use the Laser Strap on the third guard, and while he is stunned, walk through the door.
This completes the Gate Crasher challenge and gets you inside without ever needing a ticket. It is the recommended method if you are going for full challenge completion in the Uninvited mission.
Third Method — Pose as a Security Guard
There is also a third approach for players who want to take the bluff route. You can pose as a missing security guard. Look right from the entrance, eavesdrop on the guards, and talk to the one who stays behind. You need the Guard Rota to successfully bluff him. Head to the cafe, hack the laptop to distract the male employee, hack the washer to distract the woman, and read the tablet behind the counter to learn the missing guard’s name.

What Happens After You Enter?
Once Bond is inside the main hall, the mission continues with tracking down the assassin. Your job is to find the assassin, so follow every lead to track them down. The mission then branches into several further objectives including reaching the CCTV room and eventually confronting Damien Webb.

Tips for This Section
- Pick an isolated target. Guests near the edge of the lobby are easier to daze and pickpocket without drawing attention from other NPCs or guards.
- Refill your gadget charges first. The chemical bottles on the reception desk refill your Dart Phone. Pick them up before you do anything else in this area.
- Do not skip the collectible. The 8 of Acorns playing card is easy to walk past once the guards let you through. Grab it before you enter.
