007 First Light All Playing Cards Locations – Every Card in the Game

007 First Light all playing cards locations are the largest collectible hunt in the game — 36 cards spread across 10 chapters, making them significantly more time-consuming than the postcards, mementos, or legacy items. The deck uses a fictional card system with four suits: Acorns, Roses, Shields, and Bells. Collecting all 36 earns the Casino Royale trophy, and together with the other collectible sets they contribute to the master A Collector’s Habit achievement.
Some cards are straightforward pickups. Others are locked behind gadget puzzles, safe codes, or multi-step sequences that require pickpocketing NPCs. This guide covers all 36 in chapter order with exact checkpoints and step-by-step directions. Key Tips Before You Start
- Equip the Laser Strap from Chapter 9 onward: Several cards in Chapters 10, 11, and 12 are locked behind wall panels, fish tanks, padlocks, and ceiling vents that can only be opened with the Laser Strap. Always have it equipped for cleanup runs.
- Card 11 Warning: If you use Chapter Select to grab Card 11 (9 of Acorns) without having played through Chapter 9 naturally, the game may auto-equip a different gadget loadout that doesn’t include the Laser Strap. If this happens, you need to replay from Chapter 9 to carry the Laser Strap forward properly.
- Know the two safe codes: Card 7 needs code 1952 (found on wine bottles in the same room). Card 20 can be opened with code 3256 (found on a laptop in the library nearby) as an alternative to using the Laser Strap.
- Q-Watch highlights collectibles: From Chapter 4 onward, pressing L1 or LB near a collectible makes the Q-Watch glow yellow, helping you spot cards you’d otherwise walk past.
- Cards save instantly: Pick one up and quit to the menu immediately. No need to reach a checkpoint.

Chapter 1: Against the Odds – 1 Card
Card 1 – 7 of Acorns
Checkpoint: 04 – Deployment Camp | Objective: Move the BT-65

During the scripted scene where two guards crash a car and ask Bond to move it, turn right immediately after the scene ends. The 7 of Acorns is on the shelves to the right of the BT-65 remote. This is the very first card in the game and one of the easiest — it’s directly next to the story objective.
Chapter 5: A New Home – 2 Cards
Card 2 – Under of Acorns
Checkpoint: 02 – Advanced Training | Objective: Enter the training grounds

Proceed through the training area until you hack open the first gate. After opening it, turn around and backtrack to the start of the area. Go up the stairs to the platform where Greenway explained the rules earlier. The Under of Acorns is on the ledge straight ahead from those stairs. You cannot reach this ledge before opening the first gate — the stairs are blocked until then.
Card 3 – 7 of Roses
Checkpoint: 10 – Search the Compound | Objective: Steal the flag

Go down to the pier area and find the large double doors by the stairs. You can either kick them open (which alerts nearby enemies) or take the cleaner route and get the key from the guard patrolling the stairs nearby. Through the doors, the 7 of Roses is on a pile of pallets in the room ahead — the one with three enemies inside. Take them out and grab it.
Chapter 6: A Night Out – 1 Card
Card 4 – Ober of Bells
Checkpoint: 05 – Get Upstairs | Objective: Get to the upstairs lounge

In the disco room, go behind the stage and climb up the scaffolding backstage. Climb across the pipes above the stage area. The Ober of Bells is sitting on the ground at the end of the pipe section, just before you jump across to the second floor. You’ll pass through this path naturally while following the “Above and Beyond” challenge objective — press Touchpad and track it if you need direction.
Chapter 8: All the Time in the World – 5 Cards
Card 5 – Ace of Acorns
Checkpoint: 02 – In Position | Objective: Investigate the blond man

After parking the car and continuing on foot, go up the stairs. On the left, go down the next staircase. The Ace of Acorns is on the railing at the bottom of those stairs. It’s easy to miss if you don’t take that second set of stairs downward.
Card 6 – Ober of Shields
Checkpoint: 03 – The Game Is On | Objective: Search the hotel

From the start of the checkpoint, enter the large guest room and turn left, then go down the staircase. At the bottom, turn left and walk down the corridor. You’ll see a room on the left labeled “Dining Room”. Enter it and go to the back left corner. The Ober of Shields is on a dining table with a white cloth — it’s hard to spot against the white fabric, so look carefully. Card 7 – 6 of Roses (Safe Code: 1952)
Checkpoint: 03 – The Game Is On | Objective: Search the hotel

Go downstairs to the reception area. Directly behind reception, go through the white door. In the back right corner of the restricted area is the Manager’s Office. Get there by either distracting the guard or going through the Staff Only room with the two maids. Inside the Manager’s Office, check under the desk — there is a safe. Enter code 1952 to open it. The 6 of Roses is inside. The code comes from the year on the label of the middle wine bottle displayed in the same room. Card 8 – 6 of Acorns
Checkpoint: 08 – Delivery Area | Objective: Pursue the blond man

Later in the chapter, after the story takes you through Room 206, your next objective sends you into a service corridor with a large blue power cable running through it. Follow the corridor to the end and go through the door. Turn left toward the terrace. The 6 of Acorns is on a table on the terrace. Card 9 – 7 of Bells
Checkpoint: 10 – The Vanishing | Objective: Pursue the blond man

After solving the dining room puzzle (the correct order is Lion, then Snake, then Goat), you enter a dark underground cellar. After vaulting over the first table, turn left to enter a side room with prison bars. The 7 of Bells is on a crate in that room. Grab it before you squeeze through the gap further ahead.
Chapter 10: The Past Never Dies – 5 Cards
Important: Two cards in this chapter require the Laser Strap gadget. Make sure you equipped it during the Q-Lab in Chapter 9 before using Chapter Select here.
Card 10 – 6 of Bells
Checkpoint: 02 – Arriving at Aleph | Objective: Follow Greenway

After exiting the car and continuing on foot into the shipwreck with the market inside, take the left path. The 6 of Bells is in the bathroom along that left route. Check it before catching up with Greenway.
Card 11 – 9 of Acorns (Laser Strap Required)
Checkpoint: 03 – Black Market | Objective: Obtain auction fee

From the market entrance, go right to the area with an eavesdrop opportunity on two guards. Near those guards is a fish tank. The 9 of Acorns is inside the fish tank. You must use the Laser Strap to break the tank open and retrieve it. If your Chapter Select loadout doesn’t include the Laser Strap, you need to replay from Chapter 9 to carry it forward. Card 12 – Ober of Acorns (Laser Strap Required)
Checkpoint: 03 – Black Market | Objective: Obtain auction fee

From the market ramp entrance, go left toward the area with the large red anchor. Past the fenced section, find the parked truck. Behind the truck is a wall panel. Use the Laser Strap to break it open. The Ober of Acorns is inside the wall.
Card 13 – Ace of Roses
Checkpoint: 03 – Black Market | Objective: Obtain auction fee

From the ramp where you entered the market, go straight through the market and into the tunnel leading to the Fight Club. On the upper floor of the Fight Club, take the exit to the left of the bar. This brings you out onto a roof with training equipment. In the small corner room on that rooftop, the Ace of Roses is on a box. Card 14 – Banner of Shields
Checkpoint: 07 – Find 009 | Objective: Find 009

During the story section where you disarm tripwires on a ship, go up the right staircase. At the top, turn around and look toward the front of the upper deck. The Banner of Shields is there.
Card 15 – 6 of Shields
Checkpoint: 10 – Find a Way Inside the Shipwreck | Objective: Follow the clues

Inside the shipwreck, after hoisting yourself up a chain and using the zipline to reach the other side, proceed forward. The 6 of Shields is on a barrel ahead of you, in front of the blue pipe you need to climb to lower the drawbridge.
Chapter 11: Uninvited – 5 Cards
Card 16 – 8 of Acorns
Checkpoint: 04 – Gala Entrance | Objective: Enter the Webb Gala

In the first hall of the Gala, look toward the back right corner of the room, to the right of the reception desk. The 8 of Acorns is on a stone bench there. Easy to grab as you enter. Card 17 – Ober of Roses
Checkpoint: 05 – Get Upstairs | Objective: Find the assassin

After entering the main Gala room, turn left into the side hallway, then turn left again at the end. Distract the single guard in a white shirt using the Dart Phone or Laser, then slip past him into the Cloakroom. Turn right, squeeze through the gap, and kick down the door. Go upstairs to the enemy room and take out the enemies there. The Ober of Roses is on a white box in the middle of that room.
Card 18 – King of Shields
Checkpoint: 09 – Storage Room | Objective: Escape with Isola

After Bond is freed from the chair in the storage room, turn around immediately. The King of Shields is on top of the table directly behind where you were sitting.
Card 19 – 8 of Roses
Checkpoint: 09 – Storage Room | Objective: Reach the adjacent balcony

Jump across the light rig to the other balcony. Once across, go right. The 8 of Roses is on a table on that right side of the balcony.
Card 20 – 9 of Shields (Laser Strap or Code 3256)
Checkpoint: 10 – The Courtyard | Objective: Escape the courtyard

After dropping into the enemy-filled courtyard, go to the ground floor dining hall in the back right corner. Near the piano in the dining hall, find the vent entrance and go through it. At the other end, you reach the maintenance room. There are two ways in: use the Laser Strap to break the padlock, or enter code 3256 on the door panel. The code is on a laptop in the library nearby. Chapter 12: Knightfall – 5 Cards
Card 21 – Banner of Roses (Laser Strap Required)
Checkpoint: 02 – Executive 1st Floor | Objective: Reach the Perch

Once you reach Level 2 (the second floor), you’ll be in a hallway. At the end of the hallway on the right, enter the room labeled “Maintenance”. Look at the ceiling — there is a vent cover. Card 22 – Banner of Bells
Checkpoint: 02 – Executive 1st Floor | Objective: Reach the east wing

After talking to Greenway at the railing in front of the two waterfalls, climb over the railing and use the ledge between the waterfalls to shimmy across to the other side. Immediately after climbing up, turn left and hack the door sensor of the locked room. Wait for Greenway to open the door from the other side. The Banner of Bells is on the billiard table inside.
Card 23 – 7 of Shields
Checkpoint: 02 – Executive 1st Floor | Objective: Get to the Penthouse

After going up to Level 3 with Greenway, walk down the hallway and look on the left for the office labeled “Bohr”. Enter it, then turn left and hack the door panel to access the adjacent office labeled “Einstein”. The 7 of Shields is on the desk inside the Einstein office.
Card 24 – King of Acorns (Security Access Key Required)
Checkpoint: 02 – Executive 1st Floor | Objective: Get to the Penthouse

After picking up the Security Access Key as the main objective, backtrack from the Einstein office toward the start of the Level 3 hallway. Use the Security Access Key to open the side doors to the balcony there. The King of Acorns is on the table on that balcony. Do this before heading to the penthouse.
Card 25 – Under of Shields
Checkpoint: 09 – Cargo Floor | Objective: Locate the helicopter

When you reach the stairs that lead up to the flight deck for the helicopter objective, go down the stairs instead of up. The Under of Shields is on a crate at the bottom.
Chapter 14: Time to Die – 5 Cards
Card 26 – Banner of Acorns
Checkpoint: 03 – A Package from Q | Objective: Open package from Q

Follow the resort signs to the Tranquility platform, which is right next to the Ocean View Bar. The 8 of Shields is sitting on top of a lantern near the edge of the Tranquility platform.
Card 28 – 9 of Roses
Checkpoint: 05 – The Three Targets | Objective: Plant Q-Traks

From the Tranquility platform, go down the stairs into the Tranquility Cave. Toward the end of the cave, eavesdrop on the man on the phone. Then use the Dart Phone to pickpocket the Storage Key from him. Use it to unlock the nearby door. The 9 of Roses is on the shelf to the left inside.
Card 29 – Under of Bells
Checkpoint: 05 – The Three Targets | Objective: Reach Ramon Hernandez

Inside the Hung Villa, go upstairs to where you speak with Ramon Hernandez as a story objective. After the conversation, enter the bathroom nearby. The Under of Bells is on the sink counter. Using the Yoga disguise here is heavily recommended — it lets you walk the area freely. Card 30 – King of Roses
Checkpoint: 05 – The Three Targets | Objective: Plant Q-Traks

Follow the resort signs to the Lotus Bar. When exiting Ramon’s villa, go straight ahead and take the next left to find it. The King of Roses is on the counter at the back of the bar.
Chapter 16: Wave of the Future – 3 Cards
Card 31 – Under of Roses
Checkpoint: 03 – The Gantries | Objective: Reach the gate house

After reaching the cable car, go up the stairs on the right side. At the top, turn around. The Ace of Bells is on one of the couches on the left.
Card 33 – 9 of Bells
Checkpoint: 08 – Robotics Department | Objective: Get into Utility

From the entrance of the Robotics area, go straight ahead to the Utility door, then turn right. The 9 of Bells is on a box in that right-side area.
Chapter 17: For England – 3 Cards

Checkpoint: 03 – Null Space | Objective: Reach the red phone

When you reach the area with Moneypenny’s office, look for the door of the office on the left — not Moneypenny’s pod itself, but the door beside it. Kick it down. The Ace of Shields is on the table inside.
Card 36 – 8 of Bells
Checkpoint: 12 – THEIA | Objective: Get to THEIA

After dropping through the elevator shaft and defeating the three enemies waiting below, look to the right. The 8 of Bells is on the desk there. Grabbing this final card triggers the Casino Royale trophy.

Reward for Collecting All Playing Cards
Collecting all 36 Playing Cards unlocks the Casino Royale trophy on PlayStation and the equivalent achievement on Xbox and Steam. The name is a direct nod to the 2006 Daniel Craig Bond film — a fitting title given that the fictional card deck Bond collects throughout First Light pays tribute to the franchise’s most famous casino scene. The cards also fill your collectible wall in the Tactical Simulation hub and count toward the A Collector’s Habit master trophy.
