007 First Light: All Safe Codes and Door Codes

All 007 First Light safe codes and door codes in one place — every code, where to find the clue, and what you unlock. No hunting required.

TL;DR

  • There are 7 codes for safes, doors, and cabinets across 007 First Light.
  • All codes are fixed — they are the same for every player on every difficulty and every playthrough.
  • Codes: 1805 (Laundry Door), 1952 (Manager’s Safe), 3256 (Maintenance Door), 1493 (Penthouse Safe), 1324 (Q-Lab Armoury Door), 4397 (Q-03 Stress Testing Cabinet), 1864 (Archive Door).
  • The Dining Room puzzle uses a symbol sequence — Lion, Snake, Goat — not a number code.
  • You do not need to find the in-game clues to use any of these codes. Enter them directly and move on.

007 First Light All Safe Codes and Door Codes covers every locked container and door in the game. There are 7 number codes and one symbol puzzle spread across six chapters. None of them are randomised — the same codes work for every player. This guide lists all of them in the order you encounter them, explains where the clue comes from in each case, and tells you what you get for opening each one.

Code 1 — Laundry Room Door: 1805

Mission: Chapter 8 — All the Time in the World
Location: Carpathian Hotel, Slovakia

The Laundry Room is where Bond needs to follow the suspicious bellhop. The door requires a four-digit code. A note on the laundry room door itself hints that the code is in the Manager’s Office, so the two puzzles are linked.

To find the code legitimately, sneak into the Manager’s Office behind the main reception lobby. It is a restricted area with two chambermaids to slip past and a guard in an adjacent room. Once inside, close the door behind you and check the main desk — the Security Note with the Laundry Room code is sitting there. The code is 1805.

Entering 1805 at the Laundry Door keypad opens the route into the laundry area and is the most direct path for following your target. This is also how you access the 007 First Light laundry disguise. For a full step-by-step guide, see the 007 First Light hotel laundry area code guide.

Code 2 — Manager’s Office Safe: 1952

Mission: Chapter 8 — All the Time in the World
Location: Carpathian Hotel, Manager’s Office

While you are already in the Manager’s Office for the Laundry Door code, there is a safe under the desk worth opening. The room contains a wine display with several bottles, each showing a different vintage year. The puzzle requires identifying the correct bottle.

The clue is in the desk drawer on the left side of the room. A note inside reads that the Mont Arras Sacramental is the manager’s favourite wine. Find the Vino Sacramental bottle on display in the office and inspect it — its vintage year is 1952. Enter that at the safe under the desk.

Opening the safe rewards the 6 of Roses collectible card and the Cellar Key, which opens restricted areas of the hotel for further exploration. It also completes the Wine Connoisseur challenge. For the full walkthrough, see the 007 First Light hotel manager’s safe Wine Connoisseur challenge guide.

Puzzle — Dining Room Symbol Sequence: Lion, Snake, Goat

Mission: Chapter 11 — Uninvited
Location: London Museum Courtyard

This is the only puzzle in the game that uses symbols instead of a number pad. While escaping the courtyard during Uninvited, Bond needs to solve a puzzle in the Dining Room. The correct sequence to enter is Lion, then Snake, then Goat.

A note inside the Dining Room contains the hint for this sequence. It can also be worked out through trial and error if you miss the note. Unlike the other codes, this one is story-gated — you cannot progress past this point in the mission without solving it. For the full context of escaping the courtyard and other related challenges, see the 007 First Light dining room puzzle guide and the 007 First Light Closed for Maintenance challenge guide.

Code 3 — Courtyard Maintenance Door: 3256

Mission: Chapter 11 — Uninvited
Location: London Museum Courtyard

Also during the Uninvited chapter, while escaping the courtyard, there is a locked Maintenance Room door that provides a much better escape route than the main path. The code is 3256.

The clue for this code is found on a laptop inside the Library in the courtyard area. Bond needs to find and read it to discover the combination in-game. Using this door also unlocks the Closed for Maintenance challenge tied to this section. Opening it is not required to escape, but it is the cleaner path and the one you need for the challenge. See the full Closed for Maintenance challenge guide for the exact steps.

Code 4 — Penthouse Safe (Webb’s Office): 1493

Mission: Chapter 12 — Knightfall
Location: Webb Industries Penthouse

The safe in Nicholas Webb’s office is a required story objective — this is one of the few codes you must crack to progress rather than one you can skip. The safe contains information Bond needs to continue the mission. The code is 1493.

A note from Isola in the room gives the hint: Diploma, Painting, Game, Model. Each of these four items in the office provides one digit of the code when examined in that order. The Diploma on the wall gives the 1. The Basilisk painting is labelled Rendition 4. A video game on the shelf shows 9. An architectural scale model is marked Site 3. Together they spell 1493.

Entering the code correctly on your first attempt unlocks the Crackerjacker challenge. Entering it wrong seven times in a row earns you the Epic Fail challenge instead. For the full breakdown, see the 007 First Light safe in Webb’s office Crackerjack challenge guide.

Code 5 — Q-Lab Q-08 Armoury Door: 1324

Mission: Chapter 15 — Man of the Hour
Location: MI6 Q-Lab, Q-08 Armoury section

During the Man of the Hour chapter, Bond needs to acquire a service pistol from the Q-Lab Armoury. The door is locked with a keypad. The code is 1324.

The clue comes from the nearby shooting range leaderboard. An announcement in the area mentions that Waters’ score is glitching and needs to be changed — that score, visible on the leaderboard, is 1324. Enter it at the Q-08 Armoury door to get the service pistol inside and continue the mission. For the full walkthrough of this section, see the 007 First Light shooting range challenge guide and the 007 First Light steal field equipment walkthrough.

Code 6 — Q-Lab Q-03 Stress Testing Cabinet: 4397

Mission: Chapter 15 — Man of the Hour
Location: MI6 Q-Lab, Q-03 Stress Testing Chamber

Also in the Q-Lab section, while Bond is locked in the Stress Testing Chamber with a Range Rover inside a blast furnace, there is a locked display cabinet nearby. The code is 4397.

The clue is the vehicle itself. Look at the number plate on the Range Rover in the test chamber — the last four digits are 4397. A document on the desk nearby hints at this connection. The cabinet contains batteries. They are not exciting, but they are useful if you rely heavily on gadgets that consume electrical charges, such as the Laser Strap. This is part of the same section covered in the steal field equipment walkthrough.

Code 7 — Security Office Archive Door: 1864

Mission: Chapter 16 — Wave of the Future
Location: Webb Industries Operations Department

The Archive Door code is the most important optional code in the game. It is used to reach the Security Office via a ventilation shaft, which is required to upgrade Bond’s ID bracelet and access the Command Centre. The code is 1864.

To find it legitimately, go to the Legal Department on the lower floor of the Operations area. Find a safe key in the Legal Department cubicle and use it on the safe in the nearby office. The Archives door code is written inside. The Locker Room math puzzle (the Snoop Around challenge) gives you the same code through a separate route — solving the equation in the Locker Room also produces 1864. Either path works.

Enter 1864 at the Archive Door keypad to unlock it. Inside is a ventilation shaft that leads directly into the Security Office, bypassing the guards between Bond and the upgrade station. Finding the code through the safe also unlocks the Attention to Detail challenge. For the full breakdown, see the 007 First Light upgrade the ID bracelet in the Security Office guide, the Attention to Detail challenge guide, and the Snoop Around math puzzle challenge guide.

Do the Codes Change Between Playthroughs

No. Every code in 007 First Light is fixed. The same numbers work on every playthrough, on every difficulty, and for every player. You do not need to find the in-game clues to enter a code — the codes can be entered directly from this guide without going through the puzzle steps. The only exception to this is the Dining Room symbol puzzle, which uses a sequence rather than numbers, but even that sequence is the same for everyone.

For players going for 100% completion, note that some challenges are specifically tied to finding the code through the in-game puzzle rather than just entering it. The Snoop Around challenge requires reading the note in the Locker Room, not just entering 1864. The Crackerjacker challenge requires getting 1493 right on the first attempt. If you are tracking challenges alongside codes, check the relevant challenge guides before skipping the puzzle steps.
