007 First Light all mementos locations are spread across 9 of the game’s 17 chapters, with up to two mementos appearing in the same chapter. Mementos are small personal objects — things like a Satellite Part, a Diving Watch, a Pillow Mint, and a Crocodile Tooth — that add extra flavour to Bond’s world and mark each mission location. They are one of five collectible types in the game, sitting alongside Cards, Intel, Postcards, and Legacy Items. Collecting all 14 unlocks the Recovered Assets trophy and achievement, and they count toward the full 92-collectible A Collector’s Habit master trophy.

Key Tips Before You Start

  • Three mementos need a gadget or distraction: The Cocktail Napkin (Chapter 6), the Pillow Mint (Chapter 8), and the Anniversary Pin (Chapter 11) all require you to move or distract a guard or NPC. The Dart Phone works well for all three.
  • Pirate Grillz is story-locked: You cannot interact with this memento in Chapter 10 until you have earned the full $100,000 auction fee. Trying early won’t work.
  • Use Chapter Select: Jump directly to the checkpoint listed for each memento. You don’t need to replay the full chapter.
  • Items save instantly: Pick up a memento and quit to the main menu immediately. No need to reach the next checkpoint.
  • Q-Watch highlights collectibles: Unlocked in Chapter 4, it glows yellow near collectibles when you press L1 or LB. Keep it equipped during cleanup runs.
  • Trophy bug fix: If Recovered Assets doesn’t pop after your 14th memento, head to the Tactical Simulation hub from the main menu and look at the collectible wall to force a sync.

All 14 Memento Locations in 007 First Light

Memento 1 – Satellite Part (Chapter 1: Against the Odds)

Checkpoint: 06 – Central Camp
Objective: Save the captives / Free the captives in container G9

This is the easiest memento in the game. Container G9 is a main story objective — you must enter it to free the captives. The moment you walk into G9, the Satellite Part is right in front of you sitting on a desk next to a laptop. You can’t miss it if you look straight ahead on entry. Many players pick this up on their first playthrough without even trying.

Memento 2 – Cocktail Napkin (Chapter 6: A Night Out)

Checkpoint: 05 – Get Upstairs
Objective: Get to the upstairs lounge

The Cocktail Napkin is behind the bar, on the counter shelf with all the liquor. The bar is a restricted area with a bartender standing inside. You have two ways to get past him:

  • Use the Bluff prompt when you approach the bar entrance — Bond will talk his way in.
  • Use the Dart Phone to make the bartender sick, then slip past while he’s distracted.

Once inside, the Cocktail Napkin is on the counter shelf. It’s a quick grab once you’re past the bartender.

Memento 3 – Pillow Mint (Chapter 8: All the Time in the World)

Checkpoint: 03 – The Game Is On
Objective: Search the hotel

From the start of this checkpoint, enter the large room full of hotel guests and go left. Just before the staircase leading down, you’ll see a door labeled Staff Only. A staffer is patrolling nearby — he has a Pickpocket prompt when you’re close. Here’s how to get the key:

  1. Distract the staffer using the Dart Phone, or wait until he walks toward the stairs.
  2. While he’s distracted, activate the vacuum cleaner at the top of the stairs to keep him busy.
  3. Pickpocket the Staff Only key from him while he’s occupied.
  4. Use the key to enter the Staff Only room.
  5. The Pillow Mint is on the wooden cabinet next to the chair blocking a door inside.

Memento 4 – Championship Badge (Chapter 8: All the Time in the World)

Checkpoint: 03 – The Game Is On
Objective: Search the hotel

This is the second memento in Chapter 8, and you can grab both on the same run. Go downstairs to the central room where two people are playing chess on a stage. Behind the chess players, there are two large screens. On the left side of the leftmost screen, look for a narrow gap — squeeze through it to reach the backstage area. Immediately turn left again into a short side corridor. The Championship Badge is sitting on a crate at the end of that corridor.

Memento 5 – Pirate Grillz (Chapter 10: The Past Never Dies)

Checkpoint: 03 – Black Market
Objective: Speak to Barkhad Ali / Pay auction fee

Important: This memento is only available after you have obtained the full $100,000 for the auction fee. You cannot interact with it before then — don’t waste time trying.

Once you have the $100k, go back to the start of the market — to the area where you first entered via the ramp. Straight ahead from the ramp, look for a merchant wearing a white shirt under a red umbrella, sitting to the right of the pawn shop. The Pirate Grillz collectible is on the stand in front of him. Interact with it and Bond will automatically purchase it.

Memento 6 – Crocodile Tooth (Chapter 10: The Past Never Dies)

Checkpoint: 09 – Leaving Aleph
Objective: Enter Land Rover

This one is very easy but extremely easy to miss because it’s tied to a departure moment. When you reach the Land Rover to leave Aleph, don’t get straight in. Walk around to the right side behind the Land Rover. The Crocodile Tooth is sitting on a crate back there. Grab it before you enter the vehicle — once you get in, you’ll leave the area.

Memento 7 – Anniversary Pin (Chapter 11: Uninvited)

Checkpoint: 05 – Get Upstairs
Objective: Find the assassin

Enter the main gala room and go left into the corridor, then turn left again and walk to the end of the corridor. You’ll reach a restricted area with a single guard in a white shirt. You need to get past him to reach the Cloakroom. Distract the guard using the Dart Phone, Laser, or any available gadget. While he’s occupied, quickly slip past him into the Cloakroom. Turn right inside, squeeze through the narrow gap, and the Anniversary Pin is on the shelf inside.

Memento 8 – Tero Murto Locket (Chapter 11: Uninvited)

Checkpoint: 07 – Basement
Objective: Confront Sir Nicholas Webb

This memento is unlocked through a short two-step process after a boss fight. After defeating Tero Murto in the basement, leave the boss arena and go into the next corridor. The first door on your right is labeled Room 4: Restoration. Enter it and open the metal box inside to get the Restoration Room Keycard. Then go directly across the corridor to Room 3: Restoration and use the keycard to open it. The Tero Murto Locket is on the right-hand table inside that room.

Memento 9 – Office Toy (Chapter 12: Knightfall)

Checkpoint: 02 – Executive 1st Floor
Objective: Bypass the sensors

When you reach the hallway with the laser sensors, take the right hallway. Work with Greenway to move the furniture blocking the path. Go through the vent that opens up, and take the first exit on the left. You will drop into an office. The Office Toy is sitting on the counter in the top right corner of that room.

Memento 10 – Diving Watch (Chapter 14: Time to Die)

Checkpoint: 07 – Suit Up
Objective: Join the party

During the QTE sequence where Bond puts on his bowtie before the party, let it complete. As soon as the sequence ends and you regain control, turn around immediately. The Diving Watch is sitting on the nightstand to the right of the bed directly behind you. Easy to grab — just don’t forget to turn around before heading out.

Memento 11 – Niko Murto Locket (Chapter 15: Man of the Hour)

Checkpoint: 02 – Stand Down
Objective: Talk to Moneypenny

From where you begin this checkpoint, you’ll be looking up toward Moneypenny’s office. Don’t head up immediately. Instead, look slightly to your left and go down the short stairs to the second-lowest level of desks where you can also speak to Basil. The Niko Murto Locket is sitting on a desk at that lower level. It’s in plain sight once you go down — don’t rush straight to Moneypenny without checking the lower floor first.

Memento 12 – Snow Globe (Chapter 16: Wave of the Future)

Checkpoint: 04 – The Gate House
Objective: Access the cable car

In the gate house area where you need to obtain two ID Wristbands from people, look at the reception desk in the room. The Snow Globe is sitting right on it. This is one of the more straightforward mementos — you’ll pass through this area as part of the objective, so just check the reception desk as you go through.

Memento 13 – Robot Keychain (Chapter 16: Wave of the Future)

Checkpoint: 19 – Silo Entrance
Objective: Reach HYPERION

This is the deepest and most out-of-the-way memento in the game. After a long climb down the reactor silo, you will use a zipline to reach the bottom floor. After landing, crouch through the AC vent nearby. When you drop out of the vent into an office on the other side, turn around immediately. The Robot Keychain is on a podium directly behind you as you exit the vent. Easy to miss if you walk straight forward without looking back.

Memento 14 – Dashboard Toy (Chapter 17: For England)

Checkpoint: 14 – Q Lab Showdown
Objective: Find Valhalla keys

Head into the Q-Lab and go to the Q-07 Wearables section — the same area where the main objective is located. The Dashboard Toy is on the small coffee table inside that section. With the main objective pulling you in the same direction, this is hard to miss if you know to check the coffee table. This is the final memento in the game.

Reward for Collecting All Mementos

Collecting all 14 Mementos unlocks the Recovered Assets trophy on PlayStation and the equivalent achievement on Xbox and Steam. Each memento also gets added to your collectible wall in the Tactical Simulation hub, where you can view your full collection. There are no additional in-game rewards like currency or outfits tied specifically to mementos — but they contribute to the overall 92-collectible count needed for the A Collector’s Habit master trophy.

Can You Miss Mementos?

No. None of the 14 Mementos are permanently missable. You can return to any chapter at any time using Chapter Select from the main menu and jump directly to the checkpoint where the memento is located. Pick it up and quit immediately — it saves on the spot.
