Iceberg Lounge Vault Code – The Answer
The vault code is 596. This does not change between playthroughs, so you can enter it directly without needing to find the clue notes first. The default combination on the safe is 090, so you will need to adjust the left and right dials to reach 596.
Where Is the Vault in the Iceberg Lounge?
The vault is located during the Carmine Falcone mission, which is part of Chapter 1. As you work through the level, you will eventually reach a VIP back room area where Detective Flass is waiting. The large vault door is visible in the room to the left of Flass, with the Red Brick floating visibly behind the bars. You cannot miss seeing it — actually getting inside is the challenge.
This is an optional objective. You do not have to open the vault to complete the mission. But skipping it means coming back later, so it is worth grabbing while you are already there.
How to Find the Two Clue Notes
The code is split across two separate scraps of paper hidden in the area around Flass. Neither note gives you the full code on its own. You need both to piece together the answer — or just skip ahead and enter 596 directly.
Clue Note 1 – “x96” (Near the Red Sofas)
Before speaking to Flass, explore the VIP room. Look for the red sofas directly across from the vault. Smash everything near the sofas and a small white square LEGO piece will appear — this is a slip of paper. Interact with it and it displays “x96”. This tells you the last two digits of the code are 9 and 6. The x is a placeholder for the unknown first digit.
Clue Note 2 – “59x” (Behind the Bar)
The second note is found behind the bar area, on the same side as Selina Kyle. If the bar area is not accessible yet, speak to Flass first to trigger the next part of the sequence, which opens up access. Once you can get behind the bar, smash everything back there and look for another white square LEGO piece on the floor. Interact with it and it displays “59x”. This gives you the first two digits — 5 and 9. The x is a placeholder for the final digit.
Put both notes together. The 9 in the middle appears in both, confirming it is the shared digit. That gives you the full code: 5 – 9 – 6.
How to Enter the Vault Code
Walk up to the vault and interact with the combination dial. The safe starts at 090 by default. The middle digit is fixed at 9 and cannot be changed, which is the game’s way of nudging you toward using both clue notes together.
Here is how to adjust the dials correctly:
- Rotate left to change the left digit (set it to 5).
- Rotate right to change the right digit (set it to 6).
- Take it slow — the controls can feel a little fiddly. There is no way to rotate backwards if you overshoot, so you will end up cycling all the way around again.
- Once the dial reads 596, release and the vault will open automatically.
On console, some versions of the puzzle involve rotating chain mechanisms to set the number and then pulling a handwheel to confirm the combination. The result is the same either way — get to 596 and the door swings open.
What Do You Get for Opening the Vault?
Inside the vault is the Filthy Rich Red Brick. This Red Brick unlocks a new green color palette — specifically a green base with dark green accents — that can be applied to suits and outfits for all playable characters. The name is a fitting nod to the money-filled vault setting inside the Iceberg Lounge.

No problem. Nothing in this game is permanently missable. If you completed the Carmine Falcone mission without opening the vault, you can go back and do it through the mission replay system. Head to the Batcomputer in the Batcave, select the Carmine Falcone mission, and replay it. The vault and both clue notes will all be there waiting.
