Rosaria’s Role and Playstyle

Rosaria works best as an Off-Field Sub-DPS or Support. Her main job is to apply Cryo from the sidelines using her Elemental Burst. She jumps in, uses her Skill and Burst, and then steps aside so your main DPS can trigger reactions.

She fits into three main team types:

• Freeze – Pair her with a Hydro unit to lock enemies in place.
• Melt – Use her alongside Pyro units like Bennett or Xiangling to trigger Reverse Melt.
• Superconduct – Pair her with an Electro character to reduce enemy Physical Resistance. This helps Physical DPS characters like Eula deal more damage.

She also has a great team utility passive. After using her Elemental Burst, she gives nearby teammates up to 15% CRIT Rate based on her own CRIT Rate. This makes building her with high CRIT Rate even more valuable in team play.

Rosaria’s Abilities and Talents

Normal Attack – Spear of Worship

Rosaria performs up to five consecutive spear strikes. Her Charged Attack lunges forward and deals damage. Her Plunging Attack drops from the air and hits enemies below. This is the least important talent to level up.

Elemental Skill – Ravaging Confession

Rosaria teleports behind her enemy and stabs them with her polearm, dealing Cryo DMG. This is a clean, fast skill with a short cooldown. Note that it cannot teleport behind very large enemies like Lawachurls.

If the skill lands a critical hit, it also restores 5 energy (with C4 unlocked). Her 1st Ascension Passive also gives Rosaria a +12% CRIT Rate for 5 seconds when she strikes an enemy from behind using this skill.

Elemental Burst – Rites of Termination

This is Rosaria’s most important ability. She swings her polearm in a wide arc and then slams an Ice Lance into the ground. The lance stays on the field for 8 seconds and releases waves of Cryo DMG every 2 seconds.

This means she can deal Cryo damage and trigger reactions even when she’s not on the field. It’s the core of her Off-Field support and Sub-DPS role.

1st Ascension Passive – Regina Probationum

When Rosaria attacks an enemy from behind with her Elemental Skill, her own CRIT Rate increases by 12% for 5 seconds.

4th Ascension Passive – Shadow Samaritan
