Who Is Varesa in Genshin Impact?
Varesa is a 5-star Electro Catalyst character from Natlan, the Nation of Pyro in Genshin Impact. She was introduced in Version 5.5 alongside Iansan and is a warrior of the Collective of Plenty tribe — also known as Teteocan. Varesa serves as the orchard manager of her tribe and is known as an enthusiastic competitive eater and luchador-style fighter who loves both food and battle in equal measure. Her laid-back, food-obsessed personality hides the heart of a dedicated warrior who played a key role in defending her tribe during the Abyss invasion of Natlan.
In combat, Varesa plays nothing like a typical Catalyst user. Instead of standing still and throwing spells, she launches herself into the air using her Elemental Skill and Charged Attack, then comes crashing down with powerful Nightsoul-aligned Plunge Attacks that deal massive AoE Electro DMG. Her whole kit — her passives, her Burst, her stat scaling, her constellation upgrades — exists to make her Plunge Attacks hit as hard as possible, as often as possible. She was the strongest Electro DPS at the time of her release. You can play her on Android, iOS, PlayStation, Epic Games, and Xbox.
If you are also building other Natlan characters, the Iansan character guide is essential reading — she is Varesa’s single best teammate by a wide margin. You may also find the Chevreuse character guide useful for building her strongest Overload team.

Varesa Skills and Abilities
Normal Attack – Gotta Try… to Do Battle Like the Greatest Champion Luchadors Do!
Varesa launches up to 3 consecutive strikes dealing Electro DMG. Her Charged Attack is special — it consumes stamina to headbutt opponents in front, dealing Nightsoul-aligned Electro DMG and using the momentum to leap into the air. This Charged Attack is the primary way to reach plunge height in combat. Her Plunging Attack plunges from mid-air, damaging opponents along the path and dealing Nightsoul-aligned AoE Electro DMG on impact. Crucially, if Varesa lands in a combat state or her plunge shockwave hits an opponent, she gains 25 Nightsoul points. Plunging Attacks are the single most important part of Varesa’s kit and where the vast majority of her damage comes from.
Elemental Skill – Riding the Night-Rainbow
This Skill has two forms:
Tap: Varesa dashes forward and leaps upward, gaining Nightsoul points. After using this, she can chain into a Charged Attack and immediately Plunge without spending extra stamina. Each tap of the Skill generates Nightsoul points and provides charges that let her perform rapid Skill launches — up to multiple times before the cooldown kicks in. This makes her rotation incredibly fluid: Skill, air, Plunge, Skill, air, Plunge, cycling repeatedly while building Nightsoul.
Hold: Varesa enters Sudden Onrush mode, dashing forward rapidly with increased interruption resistance. In this mode she depletes Nightsoul points over time, then switches to Phlogiston to maintain the state. This mode is primarily used for Natlan exploration, allowing her to break through obstacles and traverse terrain quickly, similar to other Natlan Nightsoul characters. She also gains Nightsoul Transmission in Natlan: when the active character is sprinting or airborne, switching to Varesa automatically enters her Nightsoul Blessing state with 20 Nightsoul points.
Elemental Burst – A Dazzling Descent!
Varesa’s Burst is split into two distinct versions, which is one of the most unique mechanics in her kit:
Standard Burst (A Dazzling Descent!): Deals Nightsoul-aligned AoE Electro DMG and immediately restores Varesa’s Nightsoul points to maximum. This also activates the Fiery Passion state. While Fiery Passion is active, Varesa’s Burst deals increased DMG and she enters Apex Drive mode, which gives her increased interruption resistance and unlocks the special Burst.
Special Burst (Dazzling Descent: Volcanic Collapse): This special Burst becomes available for a brief window after Varesa uses a Plunging Attack while in the Fiery Passion state. It costs significantly less Energy than the standard Burst, deals Nightsoul-aligned AoE Electro DMG at higher multipliers, and triggers another Plunging Attack. Think of it as a supercharged follow-up that chains seamlessly into her rotation. This special Burst is her signature high-damage move — at C0, it is available once per Fiery Passion window. At C2, it becomes available after every Plunge Attack, completely transforming her damage output.
The key rule for Varesa’s Burst: always use the standard Burst first to enter Fiery Passion, then use the special Burst from inside that state. Never use the standard Burst while Fiery Passion or Apex Drive is already active — doing so wastes the Burst without triggering the special version.
Varesa Passive Talents
A1 Passive – Tag-Team Triple Jump!
After Varesa uses a Plunging Attack, she enters the Rainbow Crash state for a short time. While Rainbow Crash is active, the ground impact of her next Plunging Attack deals increased DMG and generates more Nightsoul points. This passive is essentially always active in normal gameplay because Varesa plunges repeatedly and the Rainbow Crash buff refreshes with each plunge. It directly amplifies her most important source of damage.
A4 Passive – Warrior’s Rhythm
Varesa’s Plunging Attacks deal increased DMG based on how many Nightsoul points she currently has when she lands. The more Nightsoul she has at impact, the harder each Plunge hits. Since her Skill and Charged Attack generate Nightsoul points, and plunges generate more on landing, keeping her Nightsoul bar well-stocked is important for consistent damage. This passive rewards good rotation management and full use of her Skill charges.
Utility Passive – Night Realm’s Gift
After Varesa’s Nightsoul points are fully depleted, she switches to consuming Phlogiston to maintain the Sudden Onrush state. She can also trigger Nightsoul Transmission inside Natlan: switching to her while the active character is sprinting, using movement talents, or is in the air causes Varesa to automatically enter Nightsoul Blessing with 20 Nightsoul points. This makes her one of the smoothest Natlan characters to transition to in the middle of movement chains.
Varesa Constellations Guide
Varesa’s constellations are almost entirely focused on empowering her Plunge Attacks and expanding her special Burst access. C2 is by far the most impactful.
C1 – Flying Kick Finishing Move!
The effects of the A1 passive Tag-Team Triple Jump! are enhanced: when Rainbow Crash is active, Varesa’s Plunging Attack ground impact deals 50% increased DMG regardless of whether she is in Fiery Passion or not. Additionally, Varesa’s ATK increases by 35% for 5 seconds when she switches into or out of the Fiery Passion state. She also consumes 30% fewer Nightsoul points or Phlogiston in Sudden Onrush mode. C1 is a solid damage increase that applies consistently across her plunge rotation and reduces her Nightsoul consumption during exploration.
C2 – Beyond the Edge of Light
This is Varesa’s most powerful constellation by a significant margin. At C2, Varesa enters Apex Drive after every Plunging Attack — not just after the standard Burst. While Apex Drive is active, she can use her special Burst (Dazzling Descent: Volcanic Collapse) at reduced Energy cost. Additionally, when a Plunging Attack hits an enemy in Apex Drive, Varesa restores 11.5 Energy. Together these two effects allow Varesa to chain her special Burst after nearly every Plunge Attack, massively increasing her damage output per rotation cycle. Without C2, the special Burst is only available once per Fiery Passion window. With C2, it activates after every plunge — completely changing her damage ceiling. C2 is the recommended stopping point for most players.
C3 – Burst Level Upgrade
Increases the Level of A Dazzling Descent! (Elemental Burst) by 3, up to a maximum of Level 15. A direct boost to both versions of her Burst’s damage multipliers.
C4 – Diligent Refinement
If Varesa has neither Fiery Passion nor Apex Drive active when casting her standard Burst, she gains Diligent Refinement for 15 seconds. This further increases her ATK and Burst DMG. This is a safeguard constellation that provides a DMG buff for situations where she is forced to use the standard Burst outside of her normal rotation window — for example, when starting a fight from scratch.
C5 – Skill Level Upgrade
Increases the Level of Riding the Night-Rainbow (Elemental Skill) by 3, up to a maximum of Level 15. A boost to the Skill’s Nightsoul point generation and any DMG it deals.
C6 – Champion’s Finale
After Varesa uses the special Burst Dazzling Descent: Volcanic Collapse, she gains a substantial ATK buff for a set duration. Additionally, the special Burst restores more Energy on hit. C6 pushes her damage to a new level and makes the Energy restoration from her special Burst even more generous, allowing for an extremely tight loop of Plunge → Special Burst → Plunge with almost no downtime.
Varesa Best Build – Artifacts
Best Artifact Set – 4-Piece Long Night’s Oath
This is Varesa’s best artifact set specifically for Plunge Attack builds. The 4-piece bonus grants up to 100% increased Plunge Attack DMG when all five stacks are active. Since nearly all of Varesa’s damage comes from Plunge Attacks, this set scales her most important source of DMG by an enormous amount. All five stacks build up quickly because Varesa plunges repeatedly in her normal rotation. This set is obtained from the Sanctum of Rainbow Spirits domain in Natlan. It is Varesa’s strongest option and should be your primary farming target.
Best Alternative – 4-Piece Obsidian Codex
Obsidian Codex is a very strong alternative and is the more resin-efficient choice if you are also farming for other Natlan characters, since many of them benefit from this set. The 4-piece bonus provides a significant CRIT Rate buff whenever Varesa uses her Nightsoul points — which happens constantly throughout her Plunge rotation. This allows her to comfortably build toward CRIT DMG in substats without worrying about CRIT Rate thresholds. For players who need to be resin-efficient across multiple characters, Obsidian Codex is perfectly competitive with Long Night’s Oath and farms the same domain alongside the sets used by Kinich and Mualani.
Other Alternatives
- 4-Piece Marechaussee Hunter – Works in teams where Varesa’s HP fluctuates, such as when paired with Furina. Provides CRIT Rate stacks and a Plunge DMG bonus. Less consistent in teams without HP drain mechanics.
- 2+2 Mix – Combine ATK% and Electro DMG Bonus sets as a filler while farming for the above.
Artifact Main Stats
- Sands: ATK%
- Goblet: Electro DMG Bonus (ATK% Goblet becomes competitive in teams with massive DMG% buffs, such as Chevreuse Overload or Furina teams)
- Circlet: CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG (aim for a 1:2 ratio)
Artifact Substats Priority
CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG > ATK% > Energy Recharge > Flat ATK. Energy Recharge needs vary by team. With Iansan providing Electro Resonance support, Varesa needs roughly 120–130% ER. Without a second Electro character, she may need up to 150–160% ER to use her Burst consistently every rotation. Do not neglect ER — missing a Burst rotation costs significant damage.
Varesa Best Weapons
1. Vivid Notions (5-Star) – Best in Slot
Varesa’s signature weapon is her clear best option. It provides a high CRIT DMG substat and a passive that stacks massive Plunge Attack DMG bonuses over time. Since Varesa plunges repeatedly in every rotation, the passive stacks build naturally and provide a huge personal damage increase. If you have this weapon, always use it on Varesa.
2. Kagura’s Verity (5-Star)
A top-tier Catalyst that provides CRIT DMG and stacks Elemental Skill DMG bonuses. Since Varesa uses her Skill multiple times per rotation, Kagura’s stacks build easily and apply a substantial DMG bonus. A very strong alternative for players who own it but not the signature.
3. Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds (5-Star)
Provides CRIT Rate and Elemental DMG bonuses that stack over time on-field. Since Varesa stays on the field for extended periods as a Main DPS, the stacks build reliably. A solid generalist 5-star option.
4. Skyward Atlas (5-Star)
Provides ATK% and Elemental DMG Bonus alongside a passive that can deal additional Electro DMG on hit. A consistent universal choice for Varesa that works across all team compositions.
5. The Widsith (4-Star) – Best 4-Star Option
The Widsith is Varesa’s best 4-star weapon and is surprisingly competitive. Its passive randomly provides one of three large buffs when the character takes the field — ATK%, Elemental DMG Bonus, or Elemental Mastery. Two out of three of these buffs directly benefit Varesa. Since she takes the field at the start of her damage window every rotation, the proc timing is favorable. At high refinements, this weapon can match some 5-star options during active windows.
6. Sacrificial Jade (4-Star)
Provides HP% and Elemental Mastery, with a passive that increases Elemental DMG when not on the field. Less ideal given Varesa is always on the field, but can work as a budget option before better alternatives are available.
Varesa Best Teams
Varesa’s best teams are built around two pillars: Iansan for her exceptional ATK buff and Electro support, and either Chevreuse for Overload or Xianyun for Plunge support. Iansan appears in virtually every competitive Varesa team — they were clearly designed as a duo, and Varesa’s performance drops noticeably without her. For the full breakdown on Iansan’s kit, check the Iansan character guide.
Overload Team – Highest Damage (Premium)
- Main DPS: Varesa
- Electro Support: Iansan
- Pyro: Mavuika (Sub-DPS + Pyro application)
- Buffer/Healer: Chevreuse
This is Varesa’s best performing team. Chevreuse is the cornerstone of this composition — she provides 40% Electro and Pyro RES shred and a 40% ATK buff to Electro and Pyro characters, which directly benefits both Varesa and Mavuika. She also restores HP and enables Overload as the shared reaction. Iansan’s ATK buff follows the party around the field rather than sitting in a fixed zone, which is essential for a character who is constantly airborne. Mavuika provides strong off-field Pyro application for Overload and deals significant Sub-DPS damage on her own. This team is more mechanically demanding but rewards skilled play with the highest total damage output for Varesa.
Overload Team – F2P Friendly
If you do not have Mavuika, Xiangling is a very strong free-to-play Pyro alternative. Her off-field Pyronado provides consistent Pyro application for Overload, and Chevreuse’s buffs apply equally. Bennett can replace Chevreuse in this slot if needed, providing ATK buff and healing at the cost of losing the Overload-specific RES shred.
Plunge Hypercarry Team (Premium)
This team stacks DMG% and Plunge Attack buffs on Varesa from multiple angles. Xianyun directly boosts Plunge Attack DMG and CRIT Rate and also provides healing, which synergizes with Furina’s HP fluctuation mechanic. Furina provides off-field Hydro and her Fanfare team-wide DMG bonus. Iansan keeps the ATK buff active throughout the rotation. When using Xianyun, Varesa can skip the Charged Attack step and go directly from her Skill into the Plunge, slightly streamlining her rotation. This is a slightly lower damage ceiling than the Overload team but is easier to execute and has great synergy between all four characters.
Aggravate Team
- Main DPS: Varesa
- Electro Support: Iansan
- Dendro: Nahida
- Flex: Kaedehara Kazuha or a healer
Varesa can work in Aggravate teams where Dendro is applied to enemies and her Electro DMG triggers the Aggravate reaction for increased damage. However, she does not scale on Elemental Mastery (unlike many Aggravate characters), so the Aggravate bonus is applied as a flat multiplier rather than scaling with EM. This team is easier to build than the Overload team but has a lower damage ceiling. Nahida provides consistent Dendro application and an EM buff, and Kazuha provides crowd control and can hold Viridescent Venerer for RES shred if running non-Pyro elements.
Varesa Ascension Materials
Here is the complete list of everything needed to fully ascend Varesa to Level 90:
Varesa Ascension Materials List
- Vajrada Amethyst Sliver x1
- Vajrada Amethyst Fragment x9
- Vajrada Amethyst Chunk x9
- Vajrada Amethyst Gemstone x6
- Skysplit Gembloom x168 (Local Specialty)
- Sparkless Statue Core x46 (Boss Drop)
- Juvenile Fang x36

Where to Get Varesa’s Ascension Materials
Skysplit Gembloom is Varesa’s Natlan local specialty. These flowers are found exclusively in the new Atocpan area of Natlan, specifically around the Great Volcano of Tollan and the Collective of Plenty tribe’s territory. Use the in-game “Go to Collect” feature or a farming route guide to locate all spawn points efficiently.
Sparkless Statue Core is dropped by the Lava Dragon Statue world boss, located near the Great Volcano of Tollan in Natlan. Bring Pyro characters to this fight as they excel against the boss’s mechanics. The boss requires being “charged” before it can be fully defeated — watch for the mechanic during the fight to deal full damage and collect the boss drops efficiently.
Saurian Fangs (Juvenile Fang, Seasoned Fang, Tyrant’s Fang) are dropped by all Saurian enemies scattered across Natlan. These creatures are common throughout the region — just explore Natlan and defeat every Saurian you find. Higher-level Saurians drop the rarer fang tiers.
Vajrada Amethyst gems are used by all Electro characters. Collect them from Electro-related World Bosses such as the Electro Hypostasis, Azhdaha, and the Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom. The Lava Dragon Statue boss also drops Vajrada Amethyst alongside the Sparkless Statue Core. Use Dust of Azoth at the Alchemy Bench to convert other gem types if needed.
Varesa Talent Materials
Here is the complete list needed to fully upgrade all three of Varesa’s talents to Level 10:
Varesa Talent Materials List
- Teachings of Conflict x9
- Guide to Conflict x63
- Philosophies of Conflict x114
- Eroded Scale-Feather x18 (Weekly Boss Drop)

Where to Get Varesa’s Talent Materials
Conflict Talent Books (Teachings, Guide, and Philosophies of Conflict) are obtained from the Blazing Ruins Domain in Natlan. This domain is available on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays only. She shares this talent book type with other Natlan characters including Kinich and Kachina, making it an efficient domain to farm for multiple characters at once.
Eroded Scale-Feather is Varesa’s weekly boss drop. It is obtained by defeating the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire in the Tezcatepetonco Range in Natlan. This boss becomes available after completing Chapter 5: Act 5 of the Archon Quest, or it can be accessed early through Quick Challenge in the Adventurer Handbook. Dream Solvents can convert other drops from this weekly boss into Eroded Scale-Feathers if you accumulate excess materials.
Varesa Talent Upgrade Priority
Varesa’s talent priority is slightly different from most characters because of how her Plunge Attack scaling works:
- 1st Priority: Normal Attack – Gotta Try… to Do Battle Like the Greatest Champion Luchadors Do! This is the talent that controls her Plunge Attack multipliers. Since Plunge Attacks are virtually her entire damage output, this is always the first talent to max.
- 2nd Priority: Elemental Burst – A Dazzling Descent! The Burst talent controls the multipliers of both her standard and special Burst versions. Leveling this raises the damage of both her standard plunge entry Burst and the powerful Volcanic Collapse special Burst.
- 3rd Priority: Elemental Skill – Riding the Night-Rainbow. The Skill is the lowest priority since its primary function is to get Varesa airborne and generate Nightsoul points, not to deal direct damage. Level it last.
How Varesa’s Rotation Works
Understanding Varesa’s rotation is key to getting full value from her kit. Here is the core loop:
- Step 1: Use the Elemental Skill (tap) to launch into the air, gaining Nightsoul points.
- Step 2: Use a Charged Attack while airborne to launch higher and generate more Nightsoul.
- Step 3: Plunge down. On landing, gain more Nightsoul points and the Rainbow Crash buff from A1.
- Step 4: Repeat Steps 1–3 to build up Nightsoul and stack Rainbow Crash buffs.
- Step 5: When ready, use the standard Burst to enter Fiery Passion and fill Nightsoul to max.
- Step 6: Plunge. After landing, the special Burst (Volcanic Collapse) becomes available — use it immediately.
- Step 7: Continue Skill → Charged Attack → Plunge → Special Burst chains (at C2 this can continue for every plunge).
The most common mistake new Varesa players make is accidentally using the standard Burst when the special Burst is available. Always check whether Apex Drive is active before using the Burst — if it is, use the special Burst, not the standard one.
Varesa as an Exploration Character
Varesa is one of the most fun characters to use for exploration in Natlan. In Hold Skill mode (Sudden Onrush), she charges forward at high speed, breaking through destructible obstacles and traversing terrain quickly. She can switch to Phlogiston after her Nightsoul points run out, maintaining the charge state for extended movement. Her Nightsoul Transmission passive makes transitions between movement skills seamless — just sprint or jump, then switch to Varesa to instantly enter Sudden Onrush and chain her mobility into the next character’s movement skill. Combined with characters like Kinich and Mualani, she makes exploring Natlan feel fast and dynamic.
Varesa Pros and Cons
Pros
- Strongest Electro DPS at the time of her release with exceptional ceiling in Overload teams.
- Unique and satisfying aerial plunge gameplay that feels very dynamic and different from other Catalysts.
- Dual Burst mechanic — the special Burst on top of the standard Burst gives her rotation depth and rewards good execution.
- Works in multiple compositions: Overload, Plunge hypercarry, and Aggravate all have competitive damage output.
- Great exploration character in Natlan with fast terrain traversal in Sudden Onrush mode.
- C2 is a massive power spike that transforms her damage loop into a near-continuous chain of Plunge and Special Burst.
Cons
- Rotation has a learning curve — especially the timing between standard Burst and special Burst to avoid wasting Energy.
- Very dependent on Iansan for peak performance — without her dedicated support, Varesa’s damage drops noticeably.
- No access to amplifying reactions like Vaporize or Melt, meaning team building relies on flat multipliers and RES shred.
- Plunge-focused gameplay can struggle against enemies that move erratically or are hard to land on consistently.
- Energy Recharge management is important — missing the standard Burst or using it at the wrong time disrupts the rotation significantly.
Tips for Playing Varesa
- Never confuse the two Bursts: The standard Burst and the special Burst look different on the UI. Always check if Apex Drive is active before using the Burst. If Apex Drive is up, use the special version — it costs less Energy and deals more damage.
- Set up support buffs before taking the field: Activate Iansan’s buff, Chevreuse’s buffs, and any other supports before switching to Varesa and starting her plunge chain. Starting with full buffs active makes a significant difference in total damage output.
- Use Iansan in every team if possible: She is not optional for serious damage. Her ATK buff follows the party, meaning it stays active while Varesa is airborne — which is most of the time. No other character provides this combination of ATK buff and Electro particle generation for Varesa.
- Keep your Nightsoul bar topped up: Your A4 passive scales Plunge DMG with Nightsoul points. Use the Skill before plunging rather than relying solely on Charged Attacks to keep Nightsoul high at the moment of impact.
- With Xianyun, skip the Charged Attack: Xianyun’s Burst provides the launch height Varesa needs without requiring her own Charged Attack. If Xianyun’s Burst is active, go straight from Skill to Plunge — this speeds up the rotation and saves stamina.
- Farm Long Night’s Oath as your primary artifact target: It provides the biggest damage increase for the least theorycrafting complexity. Every plunge benefits from all five stacks, and the stacks build naturally in her rotation.
Is Varesa Worth Pulling?
Yes — Varesa is the strongest Electro Main DPS in the game at the time of her release and holds up very well in the current meta. Her aerial plunge gameplay is highly satisfying and her damage ceiling in Overload teams is genuinely impressive. She is especially worth pulling if you already have or plan to pull Iansan, since the two are clearly designed as a pair and perform at their best together.
Even at C0, Varesa is a complete and powerful Main DPS. The learning curve of her dual Burst mechanic is real but rewarding to master. If you enjoy active, high-mobility gameplay and want a strong Electro DPS for Overload or Plunge compositions, she is an excellent investment. You can also pair her with established supports like Chevreuse, Xianyun, Furina, and Bennett — all of whom have strong synergy with her kit. For other high-performing Natlan DPS characters to compare, also check out the Kinich character guide and the Mavuika character guide.
Frequently Asked Questions About Varesa in Genshin Impact
What is the difference between Varesa’s two Bursts?
The standard Burst (A Dazzling Descent!) is used to enter Fiery Passion state and restore Nightsoul points to maximum. The special Burst (Dazzling Descent: Volcanic Collapse) is a follow-up available only after a Plunge Attack while in Fiery Passion or Apex Drive. The special Burst costs less Energy, deals more damage, and chains directly into another Plunge Attack. Always aim to use the special Burst rather than the standard whenever possible.
Does Varesa need Iansan?
She performs significantly better with Iansan. Iansan’s ATK buff follows the party rather than sitting in a fixed zone, which is uniquely suited to Varesa’s constantly airborne playstyle. Without Iansan, Varesa still works but requires more investment in other supports to compensate for the missing ATK and Electro particle generation. Iansan is not irreplaceable, but she is clearly the best choice for the slot.
What is Varesa’s best artifact set?
4-piece Long Night’s Oath is her best set for pure Plunge Attack DMG, providing up to 100% increased Plunge DMG when fully stacked. 4-piece Obsidian Codex is the better choice if you want to be resin-efficient and also build other Nightsoul characters with the same domain, providing strong CRIT Rate bonuses whenever Varesa uses Nightsoul points.
How much Energy Recharge does Varesa need?
With Iansan in the party, she needs roughly 120–130% Energy Recharge to use her Burst consistently. Without a second Electro character, requirements rise to 150–160% ER. Getting her ER right is important because missing the standard Burst means losing access to the Fiery Passion state and all the special Burst chains that follow.
Is Varesa good at C0?
Yes. Varesa at C0 is already a top-tier Electro Main DPS. Her standard rotation of Skill → Charged Attack → Plunge, with one special Burst per Fiery Passion window, delivers strong consistent damage. C1 and C2 improve her significantly, especially C2 which enables the special Burst after every Plunge Attack — but C0 Varesa is already very much worth building and using.
