Bluemont Manor sits in Crimson Desert’s Hernand region. It’s one of those places that rewards curious players with some decent loot — if you know what you’re doing.
There are two separate strongboxes here. Each one has a completely different type of puzzle. Neither is obvious at first glance. This guide walks you through both, step by step.

Crimson Desert North Bluemont Manor Strongbox Solution
The North building is where Count Leon Roberts works. The strongbox is right near his workspace.
Getting inside can be tricky. If guards are blocking the entrance, don’t bother fighting your way in. Instead, cling to the outer wall and climb up to a second-floor window. That gets you in quietly.
Once inside, you’ll spot the strongbox. It uses a rotating image puzzle. The goal is to complete a full picture of an owl by pressing the buttons in the right order.
Button solution (press in this order):
- Press button 4 once — this shows the owl’s wing tip
- Press button 1 four times — this displays the owl’s head
- Press button 2 four times — this fills in the second half of the owl’s head
- Press button 3 four times — this completes the image
The key order is 4 → 1 → 2 → 3.
Note: If you’ve already pressed buttons before reading this, the exact count above may not work. Just focus on completing the owl image. Press each button until its section of the painting looks right, then move to the next.
Once the owl image is fully shown, the strongbox unlocks on its own.
Reward: A Small Box containing the Oath of Darkness earring. It adds extra Defense and sells for around 4 Silver.
While you’re in there, open the other chests in the room too. More loot is never a bad thing. Just keep in mind that stealing lowers your Contribution level progress.

Crimson Desert South Bluemont Manor Strongbox Solution
The South building is right next to the North one. Head up to the second floor and you’ll find another strongbox — this time with a tumbler-based dial lock.
The goal here is different. You need to line up each pin so it sits right at the border between the painted image and the wooden panel.
There are five dials, arranged left to right. Here’s what to do:
Dial solution:
- Lower dial 1 five times
- Lower dial 2 twice
- Lower dial 3 four times
- Lower dial 4 three times
- Lower dial 5 five times
After adjusting all five dials, grab the knob on the right and turn it. If all the pins are lined up correctly, the strongbox will pop open. If it doesn’t, go back and re-check each dial individually.
Reward: Another Small Box, this time with a Finely Crafted Gold Necklace. It boosts both your Attack and Critical Rate. Sells for about 4 Silver, but honestly — hold onto this one if you’re in the early game. It’s worth upgrading for better damage output.
